It depends sa size, yung akin kasi maliit lang, about 9mm lang ata yun. I got it for 20 thousand

pwede ba makipag haggle sa jewelmer? i want a 12mm white south sea.

nag try ako ng 14mm, it's too big. pang matrona saken.

i dont know kung pwede makipag haggle... ala greenhills... Hehe... but what I did, na feeling ko kaya ako nakamura, is I chose from the loose pearls that they have in store then pinaset ko sa kanila nung may napili na ako. Then after a month siguro naiingit ng slight mga kapatid ko gusto rin nila, pero mas mahal na yung mga andun na loose pearls, compared sa nabili ko. Ang sabi nung store assistant kasi daw yung napili ko old price pa yung pearl eh yung mga pinagpipilian ng sister ko eh mga bago na at new price na.

how do i know if its authentic?

girl, i learned this from jewelers that I know. get the pearl and ikaskas mo sa harap ng ngipin mo. don't bite it, just rub it to the front side of your tooth/teeth. ang tunog/feel ng genuine pearl is yung parang sandpaper (papel de liha) ang kinaskas mo sa ngipin mo. in short, magaspang. as for faux pearl, ang tunog/feel is parang smooth or madulas sya. tried and tested ko na yan with my jewelries. i actually found out i had faux pearls!

^ sis, pano malalaman kung fresh pearl and south sea pearl? Kahit fresh pearl kasi, rough ang feeling nya pag na rub sa teeth.

thanks sis.. almost perfect naman ang pagkabilog nya... almost lang kasi may pagka flat ng konti yung ibang part nung loose pearl pa lang, but jewelmer made a very nice setting in such a way that its beauty will come out... at saka i think what is more important is that the pair is almost perfectly identical... yun daw kasi ang mas mahirap hanapin, yung sister pearl. Just read it somewhere. :-)

may mga trusted na alahera na kilala un sis ko sa greenhills. makita mo naman dun un difference sa muslim na benta lang simple pearls. may kiosk talaga dun na mapansin mo na mas angat un jewelry showcase nla. as for loose pearls may supplier ako dati. japanese siya and sa kanya mostly kumukuha un ibang muslim. sa kanya ko nabili un niregalo namen ng ate ko sa mom namin. alam ko lumipat siya sa saint francis square. may stall siya dun. doruko un name nya. nakahiwalay un south sea sa normal pearls na binebenta nya.

I bought my South Sea pearl from Palawan, dun yata pinaka-murang south sea pearl. Exag na nga yung price dito sa Manila, x2 ot x3 na yung prices. Di ko lang masyado masuot kasi mabigat, medyo malaki kasi yung nabili ni bf para sa akin.

From what I know, South sea pearls are much heavier than fresh water pearls.

Hi sis! Ang good quality 12mm white south sea sa greenhills would cost you around 5-8 thousand each, wala pa yung setting nun, by setting i mean yung pinaka gold part, yung stud niya...

Sis @wahmproject tama ka, heavier ang SSP compared to fresh water pearls, at mas maganda ang luster niya, yung mga craters or imperperfections sa SSP normal yun... Tinatago na lang kapag ilalagay na yung setting...
