first time ko rin i-try ang boxing...

sana mag-enjoy ako at 10 sessions lang yun! hahaha.. tingin nyo bitin yun? well let see.. hahaha...

sa elorde victory mall ako sa caloocan.. kase malapit lang yun sa amin! hahaha.. kahit di ko alam na meron pala doon.. hahaha.. pero sabi sa site meron daw eh.. hahaha...

I started 3 weeks ago at Elorde pero once or twice a week lang. Sana gumaan workload sa school so I can do more sessions weekly.

I'm contemplating on buying my own gloves. Anong brand gamit nyo? Twins? Everlast?

^yung hand wraps ko less than 200. gloves ko 800+. i bought them mga 2 years ago or more na.

Mine's both Twins, the handwrap is P500, the gloves is P2.5K, this was 6 years ago pa. I guess ganun parin ang price nila ngayon.

^cheapo brand lang naman kasi eh. Fight yung wraps and Bulls yung gloves.
though in fairness, kahit hindi naman ako tuloy tuloy nagbox since i bought it, sobrang madaming beses ko na rin siya nagamit.

kase i-try ko pa lang naman un boxing.. meron lang ako 10 sessions.. dont know yet if itutuloy tuloy ko na ba ito... sayang naman if i buy na mahal na gloves agad... hinihiram ko sana sa friend ko kaso di na nya makita un kanya eh...

so mga ganoon ang price nila? la ba mga 500 lang ang gloves? hahaha...

^when i started, wala muna akong gloves. i borrowed from the gym. the 1st session ok lang kasi pinilian ako nung trainer ko ng maayos. pero nung 2nd time. kadiri talaga kasi medyo damp pa siya from pawis. eeeeew! so i decided to buy na talaga. tutal, i enjoyed my first 2 sessions naman eh.

^oo kasi yung wraps naman di buong hand yung tatakpan eh. from knuckles to wrist lang. at nababasa din naman yung wraps kasi tela lang yun.

yung 1st ever session ko matagal kasi stop ako ng stop kasi sobrang out of shape talaga ako nun (muntik pa ko magblack out sa sobrang out of shape ko!). though di mo naman suot the whole time yung gloves. pag sparring, mitts, and bag exercises lang. which can be paulit ulit din depende on your trainer.
yung 1st session ko ulit after ko magstop for a loooong time, 1 hour lang ginawa nung trainer para di daw mabigla katawan ko.

siguro lagay mo na sa 1-2 hours.

Twins ang ang gamit ko, mas makapal ang gloves na ito compared to others, pero mas mahal nga lang.

hi! interested din ako with boxing.. is there any boxing gym near ortigas complex? hindi ba nakakailang kung mag-isa ka lang? wala kasi ako makakasabay if ever mag-go ako.. =) thanks!

hi sis, pinaka near I think na boxing gym ay yung Elorde sa Shaw-Edsa. Ayun po. Baka sis [textspeak!]
maki join sayo if ever mag box ka dun sa Elorde Shaw. Kinda hesitate to start kasi ako lang din mag
isa. D ko alam if may ibang girls dun na mag bobox pag punta ko. lol

^i used to go there. madami ding girls nagttrain dun when i was training there.

^^i think meron din sa tektite. i haven't been there personally though. sabi lang ng pinsan ko who used to go to a gym there.

^^^i just wipe it with a damp cloth. hindi ko din kasi alam kung pwede iwash. baka masira ko pa.
i also let it air dry after using. di ko muna nilalagay agad sa bag niya.
