Gusto ko kumpletuhin ito for my future kids hahaha. Sana maglabas na lang sila ng pdf form. Kasi bulky e.

Agree sana nga mag-release na ng pdf or kahit sa kindle man lang.

Naging fan din ako ng Sweet Valley Twins and Sweet Valley High. Way back elementary hanggang highschool. Eto yung first book na binasa ko. Ito rin ang rason kung bakit ako nahilig sa pagbabasa hehe. Alternate ko pa basahin nun yung Sweet Valley and Goosebumps/Fear Street books. Yung mga bata ngayon hindi na yata mahilig magbasa ng pocketbooks o kahit ebooks.

Binasa ko rin ito   Natutuwa kasi ako sa mga twins eh.  I remember there is a book series about two sets of twins who help solve mysteries - The Bobsey Twins.

^^True sis.  Isa din to sa mga books na nakapag-develop ng love ko for reading.  And true din na mga bata ngayon parang puro gadgets na ang pinagkakaabalahan.  I'm so glad to have grown up the time I did kasi purely books and toys lang ang choices nun.  I chose books mainly because of my dad, who encouraged us to read early on.  And iba din yung disiplina ng taong nagbabasa dba.  Mas kaya mong mag-concentrate/focus sa isang bagay ng matagal.

I've always loved this quote from Meg Ryan's character, Kathleen Kelly, in You've Got Mail:

"When you read a book as a child, it becomes a part of your identity in a way that no other reading in your whole life does."

^ agree sis. Malaki tulong sa concentration ang pagbabasa ng books. Pansin ko din yung mga tao na mahilig magbasa hindi mabilis maging bored.

Sa family ko naman yung mom ko ang mahilig magbasa. Puro self-help naman ang preferred books nya.

Back to Sweet Valley books, friend ko ang nag-recommend. Until now mahilig pa rin sya magbasa. Halos lahat din ng friends ko na mahilig magbasa ito din ang first book na nabasa.

^Kung pwede ko lang din mabuo ulit the entire collection I had before.  Sayang talga.  Binenta ko kasi most of them after I got married kasi dun pa kami nakatira sa house ng family ng hubby ko.  Sana pala tinago ko.  Pag may Booksale akong nadadaan, usually chine-check ko for Sweet Valley books hehe.  Mag-hunting nga ulit ako.

sweet valley high -- grabe, these saved my life during puberty! i recall kahit 18 nako, i sometimes read a book or two to kill time, kakamiss...
