i cut a really small part of my son's hair after he turned 1. And placed it on a prayer book (Novena to St. Jude Thaddeus). Then we went to Cuts for Tots in megamall for a real haircut. Skinhead sya now, he has very fine hair that's why i'm hoping it will grow long and thick this time

dito sa 2nd ko wala akong balak syang gupitan kasi halos wala syang hair girl pa naman.

we finally agreed to wait until my son's actual birthday to get his first haircut. buti na lang his birthday party was a week before so sakto lang ang timing. We took him to Kids Hair Salon at the Podium. Mas malapit sana sa amin ang Cuts for Tots in Trinoma but since it was a Saturday we were discouraged by some friends kasi daw mahaba ang pila.

Ok naman ang experience namin sa salon - very patient ang barber since my son bawled his eyes throughout the entire gupitan hehe.Ang galing nga eh kahit anong likot ng anak ko at kahit lima lima kaming nag aaliw sa kanya, sige lang sa pag gupit yung barber. Mabilis lang and I like the smock they used pang kids talaga.

I got the package that had a certificate and sample of my son's hair - sabi nila mga 2 weeks daw bago makuha. They also gave me a sample of my son's hair to keep. Sayang lang they don't to the before and after pics anymore.

Ang honest pa nung shopkeeper - she texted me the same day na kulang ng P100 ang sukli ko. I honestly didn't notice - so I will just get it when I come back for the certificate.

Hindi namin pinakalbo ang son ko - kasi diba sabi nila pampakapal ng hair - eh makapal naman na. Atchka ayaw ng husband ko - siya daw kasi kinalbo, ayun kumulot ang buhok niya

my son got his first haircut when he was just 10 months old.

We have a certificate to commemorate this and a lock of hair..that we have framed together.

We also tucked a lock of hair inside the bible and another lock inside a book naman.Im not superstitious naman, but it doesn't hurt naman to feel good and look forward to something (that they would grow God-fearing and intelligent)

Excited na ako sa 1st cut ng baby boy ko kaso matagal pa s'ya mag birthday. =(

may pamahiin nga na dapat 1yr old bago gupitan.  ewan nga kung paano talaga yun.  pero yung youngest brother ko ginupitan ng 8mos, bangs lang saka yung banda sa neck kasi nagkakarashes sya.

with my baby, since she turned 1 already no issues with pamahiin anymore.  the issue here is that her dada doesnt want her to get a hair cut.  he wants to have her hair long which is fine with me.  but the thing is hindi kaya pantay.  mas maiksi yung lower part near the neck area.  mukha tuloy undercut e girl ang baby ko.  hahaha!  sabi ko di naman uber short pero please lang sana papantay namin di ba.

my baby is turning a year and a month old na but di namin pa rin siya pinapagupitan because super nipis pa ng hair niya and maiksi.  lagi nga siyang tinatanong kung kelan siya malalagyan ng hair clips kasi until now, puro headbands padin siya kasi ayaw kumapit ng clips.

Si Red din a day after his first bday punta agad kami sa Cuts4Tots for his 1st haircut...to our amazement, di siya malikot! Sometimes lang he's looking sa barber pero di naman like yung ibang kids na grabe makaiyak! We even get him a certificate with his hair on it and the date where they cut his hair.

Then after his party naman, since manipis ang hair nya, pinakalbo na namin, still di pa rin siya malikot. Till now sobrang nasanay na siya and pag sinabi kong magpapa-haircut siya, he's so excited pa coz may toy after! hihi!

My daughter had her 1st haircut when she was 12months and 7 days old.. My mom doesn't want to cut her hair until she reached 1.. She believes in "kasabihan" kasi though hindi ko alam kung ano yung kasabihan na yun (I didnt ask nalang) since siya naman lagi nasusunod when it comes to her apo!

my 1 year and 1 week old little boy had his 1st haircut last sunday at cuts4tots trinoma. sabay sila kinalbo ng daddy nya. mejo manipis kasi hair ng baby ko (nasa genes ng daddy...hehe) kaya kinalbo but we had his bangs trimmed by his lola 1 month before his bday kasi napupunta na sa eyes nya...we didn't avail the certificate since we think it was expensive e you can do it on your own naman (kuripot mode! hehe). we just bring home some of my baby's hair. though, he still looks like a girl kahit kalbo na...hehe

our Zach had his first haircut when he was days turning 1...pantay pantay lang since pangit naman tingnan if kalbo sya when celebrating his 1st birthday! hehe Then after his birthday, pinagupitan ng dad nya ng mohawk style. After 2 weeks, aattend kami ng birthday party with Zach, nahihiya naman sya na mohawk style hair ng anak nya kaya pinakalbo naman namin.

my son had his first haircut when he was 6 months old.. second haircut when he was 9 months old.. his next would be few days before his birthday na ulet..

i didn't follow the pamahiin kase everytime i ask them what will happen ba if i don't follow.. they always say "wala naman" kaya ayun.. go na kami sa cuts for tots..
