pero sis, sa Sao Paulo na airport yung naglaland ang plane. i tried booking for the Rio airport pero they made me choose a local partner airline. Tams yata yun. So need to transfer to a local airline siguro if you want to go to Rio. don't know how much kasi di ko tinuloy yung mock booking ko.

I suggest sis that you ask your friends who work in MNCs or big companies kung anong travel agency ang ginagamit ng HR nila. para at least may assurance ka na di sila fly by night. then you can call them to ask for a brazil package qoutation and itinerary. compare kung anong mas mura, mas maraming tours.

or alternatively, you can book the hotel and plane yourself and dun na lang maghanap ng tours sa brazil mismo. para you can choose which tours you want to join.

We are planning to go to Brazil this year. Mukhang nakakapagod tong byahe na to pero I really wana do it. Sana may travel agency na lang na sila na bahala sa lahat including accommodation.

FIFA 2014 is also gonna be hosted by BRAZIL. Kaya gusto ko na i-try pumunta this 2010 in preparation for that.

Medyo nagkakaron na ng form IT ko. We'll take Delta Airlines with one stop in Amsterdam (US$ 2,500+). Okay na yon para di ko na kailangan ng transit VISA. We'll land in Sao Paulo and may hotel na kami don.

On our third day in Brazil, we'll fly to Rio de Janeiro via TAM (US$ 268). I'm checking online kung san pwede magstay and asking people na nakapunta na for suggestions. May mga nakita ako online na ang price in Philippine Pesos is about PHP5,000 per day lang. Bed and breakfast lang pero okay na rin yon.

After a few days, balik ulit ng Sao Paulo then uwi na ng Manila.

Medyo dangerous daw in Sao Paulo. Plus, I dunno what to do there. It's a big city, I believe. Siguro city tour na lang.

i have former colleagues who are still in brazil right now. Some are in Rio de Janeiro, some in Sao Paolo. Maganda nga daw talaga sa RDJ, kaya lang delikado daw yung lugar. Maraming manggagantso. Sabagay kahit naman saan, marami nyan.

At sobrang mahal nga ng tiket papunta dito. Wish ko lang makapunta din ako sa Brazil

When's the best time to go to Brazil? Hubby and I are planning a trip there from SFO. Can we go from Rio de Janeiro to Sao Paolo by car?

Like what others said, Visa isn't required but it's a hassle to go there. Expensive too! DX Gusto ko rin pumunta doon, pero plane fare palang mukhang mamumulubi na ako. My target was to visit this year, but it seems impossible. Maybe in a couple of years.

I've been to RDJ for 2 weeks last April 2009. I highly suggest that you get a hotel or bed and breakfast near Ipanema or Leblon Beach. It's safer than staying anywhere else in the city. Check out Corcovado Mountain (where Christ the Redeemer statue is), Botanical Garden, Sugarloaf Mountain and Tijuca Forest. We only rode taxis to get around there. I did hangliding while I was there too. That was a lot of fun.  And ofcourse, don't miss to eat at an authentic churrascaria. They say the best one in RDJ is Porcao so we ate there. Lots of barbecued meat (all kinds), buffet salad and desserts too. There's a nice view of the Sugarloaf Mountain when you're eating there.

You'll see lots of great looking people on the beach, whether men or women. Haay, i love Rio!

^ If you're from the Philippines, hindi kailangan ng VISA. Brazil has a reciprocity policy kasi for tourist VISA.

^ Cheapest route that I know of is the one that I'm getting. Delta Airlines: Manila - Amsterdam (14 hr stop) - Sao Paulo.

We postponed our trip to March of next year. I really, really, really need to start saving up.

There are four places na gusto ko puntahan sa Brazil - Rio, Iguassu, Amazon, Buzios. Napakacomplicated nga lang at pagod ka talaga.

So, dadating ako sa Sao Paulo. Ikot ikot and rest. Tapos the following day, bus ako going to Iguassu. Mga 15-18 hrs daw. Iaappreciate ang falls for one whole day tapos go na to Amazon. Ang problema ko, di ko alam kung ano ang airport na malapit sa Amazon. Dapat magplane na kasi malayo 'to from Iguassu. So, anyway, siguro one day din dito sa Amazon tapos fly na ulit going to Rio. Sa Oveleiro Bed and Breakfast ko balak magcheck in. Cheap lang don (5k in peso per night) at malapit sa foot ng Corcovado. I'll do the favela tour tapos ikutin mga beaches don plus Cristo Redentor and Sugarloaf. I might skip Buzios na kung kulang sa time. Pero malapit na sa Rio yon eh. Bus ride na lang. Mga 4 hours YATA.

We were in Brazil recently, for a short 5-day trip. From RDJ, we went to Salvador da Bahia, Petropolis, and Fortaleza. Not the safest place to be but the culture is rich and relatively cheap ;-)

I intend to go to Brazil next year tapos sa 2014 for the world cup. Siyempre champion team ko eh (which I assume team mo rin since love mo si Iker). Akin si Cesc ha. Hahaha.
