^gusto ko lang mag-share ng updates tungkol sa aking mga pending applications.
so far: meron akong 3 pending applications. 2 tapos na at waiting for developments at isang kakaumpisa pa lang ng proseso.
Actually, hindi ko sure kung matatanggap ako sa kahit alin sa mga ito. Lahat naman mga kagalang-galang na ahensiya kaya ikararangal ko matanggap sa kahit alin sa mga ito.
Pero dahil excited akong paglimi-limian ang aking mga pending applications for transfer, eto ang aking mga analysis:
1. Supreme Court - 3 applicants: 1 position/item. SG 23, a little lower than my present salary but more benefits than my current position
PROS: 1. familiar ako sa place dahil dito ako nag college nearby...
2. first government agency ko itong Supreme Court. familiar na rin ako sa culture
3. strategic position for my future plans
CONS: 1. malayo although my shuttle bus naman,
2. grabe ang politika
Type of Exams: IQ test tsaka personality test
Interview: one-on-one with the future immediate boss.
done with the exam and interview. during the interview nalaman ko na kilala pala ng nag iinterview yung kalaban ko. anyway, kilala ko yung boss nung nag-interview sa amin, pero magkagalit sila. haha, ayun,
2. PCSO - 3 applicants: 1 position/item. SG 23 din. A little lower than my present salary but more benefits than my current position
PROS: 1. malapit sa bahay kagaya sa current work ko
CONS: wala naman masyado. yun nga lang di pa sure kung matatanggap

Interview: Panel Interview with the Selection Board which consists about 6 persons ata
3. Ombudsman - 11 applicants, 7 vacant items. SG 26!
Bale technically, higher position siya sa position ko kasi 3 years of related experience ang kailangan aside from the license and training requirement. although hindi naman ako taga-Ombudsman sa ngayon. Mas mataas ng about 11k yung basic pay than my current position. Plus may RATA -non-taxable allowance
Type of Exam: 6 Essay questions. mahirap ang mga tanong kasi puro technical. nakasagot naman ako, hopefully magustuhan. may corresponding points kasi bawat tanong kaya medyo mahirap.
Next phase daw ay interview, di ko naitanong what kind of interview. I would presume though that it would be a panel interview kasi mataas na position ito. At sana matanggap ako kahit wala akong backer. umaasa talaga ako kasi pito yung bakante. medyo mahirap din kasi lumusot dun sa iba kong inaplayan kasi isa lang ang item na pinaglalabanan namin.
---Meron ako sanang pang-apat: SSS. Naka-sked ang exam at interview last week. pumunta ako pero hindi na ako tumuloy. hindi kasi ako nagtanong before the scheduled exam. malaki pala ang diffference ng magiging take home pay ko. Para akong made-demote kaya hindi ko na tinuloy. Ang layo rin sa bahay kasi sa Makati ma-aassign if ever.

UPDATES:
1. Supreme Court - walang feedback kung natanggap ba ako o hindi. pero ok lang.
2. PCSO - recommended na ako ng selection board since early february 2016 pa, pero wala silang comelec exemption at the time na iniform ako. so i said let us wait for the exemption. (banned ang government to government transferer pag walang comelec exemption sa ngayon dahil sa gaganaping elections.)
3. Office of the Ombudsman - winner! pirmado na ang appointment ko since March 2, 2016 at naka-secure na rin sila ng exemption for me. mag sstart na ako mag asikaso ng transfer ko.

Balik tanaw sa timeline ng application process:
March 2015 - my initial application for the same position. I was not able to complete the documentary requirements for the application because of my miscarriage. They called me and asked if I will continue with the process, I told them I will defer at the moment and wait for other vacancies instead since I am still recovering at the time.
August 4, 2015 - got a call from them informing me that there are new vacancies. I was invited to re-apply.
August 6, 2015 - submitted application letter and requirements (10-day deadline for submission of requirements)
October 16, 2015 - written exam - there were 15 applicants/examinees
January 18, 2016 - Panel Interview (I was already 5-6 months pregnant and my bump is obvious)-- only those who passed the written exam were invited to the panel interview. there were only 7 interviewees. 4 males, 2 other non-pregnant females and me.
January 27, 2016 - Neuro Psychiatric Exam--there were only 4 who were asked to take this exam. I am the only female.
March 2, 2016- got a call that my appointment has been signed (30 weeks pregnant)...When I saw the Comelec exemption, it appears that I am the only female among the 4 persons who were selected to fill up the positions. they did not fill up all the 7 positions. the selection board also did not appoint the two other female applicants.
--need to assume the position before i give birth. Due date ko sa May 12, 2016. I am currently processing my papers and about to assume the position on March 22, 2016 (Comelec exemption up to March 25)
