anyone else applied in Bureau of Immigration as Immigration Officer?

my husband is a part-time gov't employee...grabe lang sobrang delayed ng sweldo nila...the last paycheck he received was for november last year pa, so imagine delayed ng 5 months na...kumusta naman yun di ba...buti na lang di lang yun ang source of income ni hubby kundi matagal na kaming namatay ng dilat ang mata di naman sila nagmamadali nyan, mag-6 months na this month wala pang definite date kelan nila marereceive ang sweldo nila

^some government agencies are like that. lalo na part-time(or same sa contractual ba?)?
ma pending ang mga documents nila plus the budget pa..asus!

^hay naku grabe nga sa bagal mag-process ng kung anumang documents kelangan nila para ma-release na sweldo nila...siguro kung regular employee tapos yun lang inaasahan malamang nagwelga na sila

sa Civil Service Commision, no need sa backer i think. Just passed my application before sa office nila tas magmmail na invite ka nila for exam sa regional office. Though medyo matagal process hehe

sis same here i took an exam august last year until now wala pa rin update if i passed or not.

Im working in one of govt agencies right now. Nagpass ako ng resume ng Dec 2011. That month din ako nagexam sa agency. Then August 2012 na ako tinawagan for panel interview. October tinawagan ulit ako na magsubmit na ng mga documents like NBI, OTR, medicals, psycho neuro, etc. Nagsubmit ako pero ang sabi sa akin kahit nagmedical etc na dw eh di pa sure if ihire daw. At last, March 2013 tinawagan na ako at hired na daw and dumating na daw appointment ko. Pero May 2013 na ako nag assume kasi marami pa ako tinapos dun sa last job ko.

More than one year din process ng lahat. Pero Im happy sa agency na napuntahan ko.

mabilis na ang ilang buwan na pagiintay let's say 6 months. pag-inabot pa ng election mas lalo pang magtatagal dahil sa election ban.

question lang mga sis, hindi ba talaga puwede makapasok sa government yung may mga tattoo? i mean visible tattoo like sa sleeves ng arms?

may contractual sa office namin na may tattoo, tulad ng sabi mo nasa sleeves ng arms. pero baka nasa decision na rin iyan ng government agency na aapplyan.

^^ Parang 'di naman issue 'yung tattoo. Several kaming employees dito sa agency namin na may mga visible tattoos, keri lang naman. Tago mo na lang muna sa interview.

meron po ba dito nagwowork sa Immigration? matagal ba tlaga sila tumawag? wala pa kasing update more than 1 month na yung final interview ko with Commissioner.

80% sa office namin, may visible tatts. Actually isa kasi sa ex officemate nanin ay tatta artist, mura lang singil. Till he resigned. Haha.

sis ako din nagpass ng application. Ang sabi sa website nila this week ang 2nd part ng screening process nila, pero wala pa ako nareceive na news from them. Ikaw kamusta application mo?
