@huit: I dont know where they got my resume, siguro jobsdb or jobstreet. Diyan lang naman nakaupload ang resume ko. Nope, hindi pa ako nageexam. That was suppose to be my first interview.

Pag director level positions mas mababa ang salary ng government compared to private. Pero ang entry level positions na technical or career service professional competitive naman ang salary. Most GOCCs have profit sharing so kahit na mababa ang sweldo throughout the year, may aasahan na mid-and end-of-year bonuses. Most government agencies have CNAs with the employee organizations which sorta guarantees the 13th month pay. Some very rich GOCCs can afford to pay up to 16th month pay pa nga.

But really, people shouldn't work for the government for the salary...

The best magwork sa govt lalo na sa judiciary. that's why halos lahat ng employees dito na tumatanda. yun nga lang mahirap talagang pumasok at sobrang dalang kang makakaalam ng vacancy saka ofcourse civil service eligible dapat. wag nalang tignan ang basic salary, yung benefits na money ang sobrang dami (legal ha, as in bigay talaga sa employees), now ko lang masasabing ayaw ko ng bumalik sa private companies...nung lumipat lang ako sa govt dun lang ako nakaipon after how many years of working

hi guys...im turning 29yrs old...and im a civil service professional passer...currently working in a call center.. do u think i still have a chance to get job in a govt agency? i specifically wanted landbank since im a banking and finance graduate...pls advise naman guys..im a frustrated banker e.. i just dont have a chance to apply one before coz nangibabaw yung need ko for money since i was supporting by brother's education before...pero ngaun since graduate na sya.. gusto ko namang gawin ang trabahong gusto ko talga...

hello po mga sis! ask ko lang sana if kailangan talaga na civil service certified ka even if IT department nung gov't agency ang gusto mong apply-an? a friend informed to try applying sa IT department ng SSS or GSIS kasi line of work/expertise ko yung gamit nilang system/programming language dun. very ideal din sa akin ang SSS kasi isang jeepney ride lang mula sa bahay, so tipid talaga ako sa pamasahe at pagod. concern ko lang talaga yung civil service exam... mahirap po ba yun and saan ba kumukuha nung civil service licensure exam na yun? thanks in advance sa replies!
