Ako i remember after 2weeks kahit wala na tegaderm nababasa ko na tahi ko. Sabi naman ni OBgyn tuyo na kaya pwede na.

1st baby ko sobrang saglit lang ako gising, pinakita lang sa akin si baby then blackout na...nagising na ako dinadala na ako sa room ko.

2nd baby, request ko talaga na onti lang dose kasi sa unang cs ko sobra ako nangati. Buong katawan ko super itchy! i was awake nung lumabas na si baby. May pictures p ko with the baby na may dugo dugo pa, hindi pa siya nalilinisan. Konting muni-muni, numb naman pero i can feel jerking movements then nakatulog ako, woke up again dinadala na ako sa room.

kasi the stories i heard, the mommies undergoing CS are awake and just given low dose of anesthesia to numb the tummy area.

I had 3 CS at lahat yon gising ako.

I was very awake too. As in my OB was explaining that she was cutting me open na, nakikita niya na si baby, tinatanggal niya na sa tyan ko and then inangat na tapos bigay agad sakin for skin to skin and unang yakap, tapos latch agad, picture picture with hubby and baby habang tinatahi ako tapos they wheeled me sa recovery room together with baby and after 1 hour or so, since sabi nila i can;t go back sa room ko hanggat hindi ko kayang itaas paa ko after that punta na kami sa room namin ni baby, andun na rin yung mga family and friends ko. next morning, i willed myself to walk na. even carried baby and sa reclining chair na ako nakaupo para mag breastfeed. lakad lakad and galaw galaw para daw hindi magdikit dikit yung organs and for faster recovery. after a week i was climbing stairs na. exclusively breastfed my baby too for 2 years plus sabi kasi ng friends ko isa yung CS sa reasons nila bat hinid nila agad na breastfeed si baby, super lucky nag latch agad si baby sakin nun.

Mabilis lang recovery ko sa CS, not much pain, although nangingilo ako nun nung nililinis yung wound ko and hirap maligo the first few days kasi kahit pwede na basain ayaw ng mom and lola ko, oh well, kesa makipagaway, give in na lang, wala naman mawawala.

Pero this 2nd pregnancy, i am aiming for VBAC. ayoko na Ma CS ulet. health concerns for baby. kasi kahit EBF siya ng 2 years, ang hina ng respiratory system niya, lagi may ubo sipon and asthma attack. I read isa yun sa side effects ng CS sa baby compared sa baby na NSD.

Ganun ba yun sis @aingee88? kung ganun dapat pala magpa vbac ako. Hhehe. Anyways, My OB advised to consider CS uli. My due is 2nd week but Sabi OB, sa,1st week  n lang. Parang minamadali naman ako. safe ba,ilabas si baby ng around 38-39 weeks nang wala pang signs na,nagla-labor?

I was awake din during my C-Section, pero how I wish I was asleep na lang dahil sobrang kabado ko. I was given spinal anesthesia (they say di daw yon epidural) and wala akong naramdamang pain during the procedure, except for sucking like sensation sa stomach nung pinupull na nila si baby and yung placenta ko.

For the anes, you can talk to your doctor what you prefer to take. Some, gusto ng general anesthesia kung san tulog ka, then some others gusto ng epidural kasi less dangerous. Just talk it over with your OB so he can guide you para alam mo rin what to expect when you give birth na.

@LeAnEn Hi sis! I read yun yung isa sa mga health risks sa baby, kasi kahit yung mga kapatid ko na CS, compared sa amin na normal super sipunin and may hika.

Waah, hindi naman porket CS ka sa 1st, CS ka na sa 2nd, depende sa reason kung bakit ka na CS nung 1st. Parang minamadali ka ata ng OB mo, try mo 2nd opinion? Try to read yung risks ng VBAC and repeat elective CS. I am not against CS and don't look down on mothers who prefer CS, kanya kanya lang pero if given the choice talaga, and if there are no risks to baby and me, i will go the natural way. Kung wala nga lang side effects sa health ni baby ang CS why not, kahit mas mahal siya, kasi super dali naman ng recovery ko eh. pero this pregnancy talaga, I am doing everything I can to avoid another CS.

I was awake the whole time. Floating lang ang feeling coz of epid and Demerol. Wala talaga ko na-feel. Kahit yun pagtahi or paglabas ni baby. Hindi din ako kabado kasi downer ata ang Demerol so mellow lang.

Yes sis. actually 37 weeks is considered full term na. 38-39 is completely safe na. beyond 40 weeks iniinduce na.

i gave birth to my baby boy at 37w/2d via elective CS. ok naman siya, healthy, hindi na incubator and na-discharge naman kami agad.

2 months na baby ko. Safe na kayang magjeans ulet? Swerte kasi magagamit ko pa yun 3 out of 5 pants kaso worry ko kung ok na ba. Hindi pa naman ako nakabalik kay OB after a month. Wala naman ako nararamdaman sakit or what pati tuyo na yun tahi ko...

I was awake during my CS basta feel ko noon parang may grounds katawan ko at sobrang manhid, hindi ko nga naramdaman na binuksan na tyan ko narinig ko nalang iyak ng baby ko tapos unang yakap kami noon after noon doon nako nakatulog.

^^ bawal ba mag-jeans after manganak? Uh-oh... Nagsuot na ko ng jeans (shorts and pants) in my 2nd week pa lang siguro, wala namang nangyari (or so I think).

Miss ko na din mag jeans ! 2 weeks postpartum . Pwede na nga kaya ? Gotta ask my OB na din sa next check up .

@katyap ang alam ko sis hindi naman bawal mag-jeans. kung kasya na, why not hehe. diba pinagsusuot pa nga ng abdominal binder after birth to assist sa healing ng surgical wound during CS.

I was not saying naman it's bawal just asking kung safe na ba talaga.. Well I guess ok naman nga kung kasya, good thing meron pang kasya! Haha. Natry ko na din magdenim shorts kahapon comfy naman. Speaking of binder, until when to use it ba? Sabi kasi ng mom ko 6 months daw dapat?

Sabi ng OB ko dati sakin, pwede na raw as long as comfortable ako and hindi natatamaan yung scar ko. Low Vertical kasi yung incision ko, so unless super low waist yung pants ko or yung high waist, hindi ko sinusuot, eh lahat ng pants ko tumatama sa incision ko kaya skip muna ako sa pants, plus ayoko ng muffin top haha laki kasi na gain ko nun 1st pregnancy ko.

^^ Saklap, walang magkasya na jeans saken. Ang laki naman ng nilapad ng balakang ko.
50-52 kgs ako nung before magbuntis ngayon 55 ayaw talaga kumasya.  Puro flared pants tuloy ako at leggings.

^Ganun rin ako kaya kahit gusto ko mag jeans, no choice haha leggings lagi ang bagsak ko. or jeggings. Hahaha

re: Binder, 6 months ako araw araw pero i still wear the binder pag sa bahay up to 1 year. parang nasanay ako na may support sa tyan ko.

^Lumiit ba tyan mo using binder? Feeling ko kasi nagimproved naman yun sa akin kaya planning to wear din for at least 6 months. Napansin ko din the more na masikip the more effective kasi kahit papaano nagtightened sya. Exercise na lang siguro para maging mas firm pa..

^Yes sis, lumiit siya, plus mabilis rin kasi pagpayat ko nun kasi nag breastfeed ako. but for sure, nakatulong ang binder sa pagpa tighten ulet ng tummy ko. I also like the feeling na masikip, kahit mainit, feeling ko kasi may support yung incision ko, so kahit mainit at makati, tiis lang.

Try mo yung wink shapewear by urban essentials, i read a lot of good reviews, especially the postpartum shapewear. a bit on the expensive side but if it doesn't ride up or down, i think it's worth the investment. I might buy it before i give birth, definitely i wear binder again after giving birth. CS man ulet or VBAC.
