26 days na ako after my CS operation and after 2days of discharge, pinapalinis ko na agad kay hubby ako ang tahi every after bath since advise sa akin ng nurse ok lang mabasa basta patuyuin at linisan agad, ok na ngayon ang tahi ko pero may dressing parin just to make sure hindi marumihan at mainfection hindi pa rin ako nagbubuhat ng mabigat pero nakakakilos na ako ng normal at walang nararamdaman na kirot.

yung sakin naman, di ko na need linisin after linisin ni OB before ako ma discharge. pero takot talaga ako kaya ang tagal ko inalis yung dressing.

@ marssie: have you discussed this with your ob? 37 weeks is fine. Full term na yun. Ako, I gave birth at 37w1d nung March lang. Nag-usap kami ni ob ng sunday nung routine check-up ko. Dun lang nya ni-reveal na hindi ako pwede ng nsd dahil maliit na sipit-sipitan ko. She knows kasi na malulungkot ako pag nalaman ko agad, baka makasama daw lalo. I saw it coming naman so di na ako masyado na-frustrate nung sinabi nya yun. Maselan ang pregnancy ko and she doesn't want to prolong my agony anymore, so she called up the hospital right away para i-schedule ang cs the next day. Gusto ko pa sana paabutin ng 38 weeks. Buti na lang hindi. Kasi cord coiled na pala si baby sa hita, tiyan at dalawa sa leeg. Nagde-decline na heart rate nya. Plus drained na amniotic fluid ko ng di ko namamalayan. Naku sensya na at napakwento na ako. Desisyon nyo kasi ng ob mo yan plus si hubby. Ako kasi umiral yung intuition ko, or let's say mother's instinct. Feel ko na may problem na eh. Pero kung wala naman kayong matinding dahilan, might as well paabutin mo ng 40 weeks si baby bago palabasin ng bongga.

Sis, had similar experience too. I mean, high risk pregnancy ako last year. I gave birth through C/S last Dec5. Part of baby's umbilical cord is as thin as a telephone wire. My OB hoped for a normal delivery... And as much as I wanted a normal delivery, C/S was always crossing my mind. Ironic thing is, mas natatakot nga ako nga to give birth to him through ND, kasi parang feeling ko he won't make it at baka ma distress lang siya if i-induce ako. My Perinatologist finally said C/S ako at 36weeks and 2days. Although he's so small when he came out, I'm just so happy he made it through safely. Thank you God! A mother's instinct is one of God's best gift talaga.

Hello mommies  ask ko lang gaano katagal bago makarecover pag CS delivery ka? I have possibilities kasi na ma-CS , nakabaligtad kasi baby ko . im 27 weeks pregnant sabi ng OB ko kapag di pa umikot i-CS ako.. First baby ko din to. give me advise naman para maiwasan ang CS Delivery. thankyou!

Depende kasi yun sa individual sis. Although the procedure is the same, each of us heal in our own pace. My C/S wound closed within 3weeks. 6Months average yung healing ng wound internally and 1year or so, yung body nakaka recover from pregnancy at delivery.

di ko alam kung dito ko ipopost yung question ko or sa pills na thread. Anyway, how soon pwede uminom ng OCP after maCS? Kailangan pa ba hintayin bumalik yung period? Or after 6 weeks kahit wala pa period ok na? di ba usually 6wks dapat walang contact?

Hi mga sis im currently going 27weeks na with twins..and for sure cs daw ako sabi  ni oby probably august 4th week sa udmc ako manganak..diba nakakatakot sis ang cs?takot kase ako sa anesthesia how long does it take po the procedure bago matapos?and hm po kaya nagastos nyo  for cs? Specially po sa preterm na nicu po ba baby nyo and hm din po pag na nicu?prone daw po kase sa preterm pag twins kaya sana makaabot kami sa fullterm..thanks in advance mga sis sana may makapag bigay ng information  sakin

hi mga mommies! its my 5th day after my CS operation. the day after ng CS operation ko nakatayo na ako at nakalakad. went home nung 2nd day. wala naman masyado nararamdaman except kapag natayo . ngayon may nafifeel ako na sobrang pain sa tahi ko. im scared na baka bumuka sya or eto ba yung sinasabi nila na makirot pag malamig? help mga sis!

^sis 5 days post partum ka pa lang naman I think normal lang yung may pain pa din na nafefeel. Ako nga nung 5th week ko may pain pa din konti and nung tinanong ko yun sa OB sabi nya normal lang naman daw yun. It's ok to be mobile din talaga cause it helps daw to recover fast pero don't force yourself too much naman.

Hi sis, high percentage talaga you will go through C/S if with twins, BUT meron naman akong friend who gave birth to twins VIA normal delivery plus 6lbs each pa yung babies nya. But of course, much better if you are prepared for the possibilities.

As much as I want to avoid C/S sis b'coz even just the sound of it is scary, pero at that very moment kasi I had a gut feeling na hindi ok si baby if we push through normal delivery. My perinatologist also wanted me to deliver via C/S kasi they don't want to distress his heart since we're expecting heart anomalies in him. When I underwent C/S, I was also awake. What made me think to do so, is maybe b'coz I wanted to make sure to hear his 1st cry, to make sure he makes it out alive! I know it's crazy, but my pregnancy has been very difficult so far.

Actually, the anesthesia is numbly painful. IT's what I could describe it with. They said the needle was big and long, pero hindi ko naman nakita so ok lang. hehe... For the procedure, sa akin kasi I went to the DR, 1pm, and was taken back to my room 5pm. The opening and taking the baby out will just take about 30mins. The stitching takes time. Recovery room, I was there for an hour. In cebu, ours cost us about 40k for the ob alone. My baby was in the NICU for 2weeks too. Cost us about 2k per day, wala pa yung meds niya ato cbc, and other procedures.

thank you sis sassyzsa! good to know normal pala mafeel yun, ewan ko ba kung its just me, pero lagi kasi ako ngwoworry na baka bumuka ang tahi ko or something. madalas ba mangyri yun sa mga na cs?

^ako din kaya natatakot pa kasi feeling ko parang bubuka yun tahi ko. Pero kung sobrang worried ka na you can consult your OB. Atleast mas relieved ka. Yun saken kasi based on experience lang. Pero to give you an example, yung OB ko naCS din almost 2years ago. Then nung sinabi ko na dun sa previous pregnancies ko pinush pa ng nurse yung tyan ko to help me sabi nya simula daw ng maCS sya di nya na daw kaya magpush ng tummy ng pasyente ng bonggang bongga kasi feeling nya daw bubuka yun tahi nya. Take note ha almost 2yrs ago na sya nanganak.

hello mga sis, tanong ko lang kung normal lang ba na may amoy ang lochia?   1month nag-giving birth at its my first baby kaya hindi ko alam kung ok lang ba na may amoy ang lochia. minsan nakakairita talaga. feeling ko naamoy din ng mga katabi ko. nawawala naman siya after kong magwash-wash. after bang magkaroon nito mens na ang sunod?

Hi mga sis! Newbie here. Ask ko lang kung normal lang ba yung twice a month ka nagbbleed? Kasi ganito, Sept10 nung nagkaron ako tas hanggang mga 1st week yun ng October bago natapos. And then today, meron na naman ako. Im starting to worry if this is normal pa ba? Kasi during my pre pregnancy days regular ang period ko. Ngayon ganifo na. And almost 4 months ago na ako nanganak. Is there anybody having same situation po? Need help. Effect ba to ng injectable contraceptive? Sorry medyo ligaw ata ako ng thread dunno where to post my issue e. Im not cs pala btw

Kelan pedeng mabasa yung incision? 3rd week after the operation im still using tegaderm pad, [textspeak!] kayang basain na? Kati ng kase

^Almost 3 weeks nung binasa ko yun sa akin although after a week nung post natal check-up ko sabi ng OB ko pwede ng basain. Hindi ko lang agad binasa paabutin ko pa nga sana ng 1 month non kaso tinamad na ako balutan ng plastic. So ayun, hinayaan ko na lang. Better check with your OB sis kung ok na basain.

after 1 week, my dressing and the tahi were removed na.  It was a struggle to take a bath before kasi even if I wrap sa plastic, nababasa pa din Good thing mabilis nag heal yung wound sa labas. I was advised too not to take the stairs but I  can't help it since sa 2nd floor ako nakatira.
May discharge konting discharge pa din ako  ,7weeks pp and sometimes bad trip kasi medyo hindi maganda yung Amoy.

Sana hindi siya sumakit when I travel for work sa US sa  December where it is cold.

kasi the stories i heard, the mommies undergoing CS are awake and just given low dose of anesthesia to numb the tummy area.
