parang mas marami na yatang CS kesa normal eh..hehe..
napagusapan namin ng friend ko na baka may secret agenda ang mga hospital na i-cs na lahat ng manganganak para hanggang 3 lang ang anak..hehe!

haha sis! pero come to think of it parang marami na nga CS. sa office pa lang namin, marami kaming CS. ako din, i wasn't prepared for CS kasi naka mindset na ko na normal ako, pero since ayaw bumaba ni baby at walang progress labor ko, pina CS ako. to think my OB, sya ang tipong doctor na pipilitin na mag normal ka. baka nainip na sya sa pag intay sakin. hehe!

^OT yata toh pero totoo kaya yung sabi nila na pag elective cs not covered by philhealth? Only emergency cs lang daw ang covered.

eto sabi ng boss ko who handles our HR system and whose wife just gave birth via CS last June, 2nd baby nila, 4-yr interval from the 1st:

sabi niya pag 1st time na CS delivery tapos scheduled, yun daw ang PWEDENG hindi i-cover ng Philhealth.  meaning, even if previous delivery(ies) ay normal tapos etong susunod ay gusto scheduled CS, di daw pwede yun, unless previous delivery/ies is/are already via CS.  BUT, even if the last delivery was via CS pero matagal na nakalipas pwede pa ring hindi i-cover kasi pwede nang mag-normal delivery (not sure of the interval but i'm thinking 2-3 yrs since yan yung ideal interval ng pregnancies for those candidates for VBAC).  i think the main premise is normal delivery, hangga't pwede yun ang dapat.

now, why i emphasized PWEDE.  kasi sa case ng boss ko, as i've mentioned, 4 years ang interval ng pregnancies ng kids niya so supposedly hindi ico-cover ni PH etong sa 2nd niya which was a scheduled CS at Medical City.  ang ginawa niya nagtanong siya sa HR namin at ang sabi naman ng HR namin, covered naman daw.  so i guess you have to coordinate pa rin with your HR.

CS din ako.. nung july ako nanganak.. sabi ng OB ko kaya ko naman daw i-normal kaya lang something happened kaya ECS ako..

before nung pia-file ko palang yung documents ko for Philhealth tinanong ko sila kung magkano yung male-less kapag CS or normal.. kapag normal daw is 5k.. kapag CS depende..

ino-honor lang daw nila yung CS kapag halimbawa may mga critical cases like una yung placenta or nakatae na yung bata o kaya may deceleration something like that..

hindi daw nila ino-honor kapag yung tipo na nag-inarte lang yung buntis at ayaw mahirapang manganak at ang gusto CS nalang para walang hirap sa labor & pushing.. hahah

Naku sad news naman to kung totoo.

Sa akin kasi, at 20 weeks ang sakit na sobra ng likod ko...

twice ako na operahan for a serious case of scoliosis (one for implant and second for the removal).
Sabi ng parents and relatives ko di daw kakayanin ng likod ko ang labor and baka magkaproblema lang sa amin (worst case scenario [textspeak!] ma risk talaga [textspeak!] life ng either isa sa amin ni baby).

tingin niyo, malaki ba ang chance na ma-CS ako? (scheduled)

and if this is the case, mashoulder kaya ng PH (OFW member)

advantage to sa amin kung scheduled para maschedule ng hubby ko yung paguwi niya sa pinas.

Hi everyone i gave birth last jan via cs, ang ayaw ko sa cs is the emotional torture LOL, bawal kasi to make you sleep my ob told me hindi maganda to give birth to a sleeping baby if you're under sedation. So all the while i was awake and scared to death the whole time i knew they were cuting me. I didnt feel any pain but the mere fact that you're aware they're operating on you is awful The nurse will even announce the time eg ( 9:39 cutting time). In fairness to my anesthesiologist she was patting my hand telling me everything will be fine they'll take care of me I gave birth in makati med by the way and after my baby got out they immediately put me under.

^Baliktad tayo sis ako kinakabahan lang so inaattend din ako ng nurse at anes that everything is ok... i did felt everything from cleaning to washing pero nung time na lumabas si baby inilapit sya sa akin and parang getting to know you kami...i was speechless and he was just staring...unforgettable *_* iwas also  awake aa recovery room and dun sana pinatulog na lanb ako kasi antagal

^^ ako naman 18hours akong naglabor! huhu! fully dilated na ako nung 3pm pero nakadumi na yung baby ko kaya emergency CS ako.. grabe yung sakit torture!! alam nyo yung feeling na ayan na you will push and push and push na.. tapos suddenly biglang nagdeceleration.. ECS na talaga!? agad-agad?!
hindi pa nga nagssink in sa utak ko na ECS ang gagawin sakin kasi nga sobrang sakit!!!

pagpasok na pagpasok sa operating room ang dami ng kinabot sakin tapos pinakilala pa skin yung anes tapos pati yung mga tao sa paligid ko.. then tiurukan na ako ng anesthesia sa spinal.. then parang bula na nawala yung sakit haha!! magic! wala akong kaba na naramdaman that time.. umiikot nga yung mata ko sa mga galaw nila..
nagrequest pa nga ako na gusto kung makita habang hinihiwa ako.. kaya lang ayaw nila
patutulugin daw ako kapag pinilit ko..

tapos narinig ko ng umiyak ang baby ko
syempre hindi ko mapigilang umiyak.. wala akong masabi kundi ganito..

"Nurse pakibilang mo naman mga daliri ng anak ko sa kamay at paa" haha!
lahat sila na nasa OR nagtawanan.. tapos nung nalinisan na baby ko nilapit sakin tapos pinakita yung gender even yung nasa paa nyang name.. tapos biglang parang inantok na ako.. namalayan ko nalang palabas na kami para pumunta ng Recovery Room

^ aawww. . .sis nakakainggit ka naman kasi naexperience mo yung ganun na narinig mo yung unang iyak nya, nailapit pa sya sa iyo. Di ko kasi naexperience yun. Paano ba naman para akong pinukpok na hito sa pagkakatulog. LOL! When they transferred me to the operating table, I waited yata for 30 minutes bago ako nasweruhan. Super lamig pa naman dun. Andun si male nurse na nagtest sa dalawang arms ko ng antibiotics na sobrang hapdi. Tapos dumating si male anes (in his late 40's) na super cool, dala yung big cd player nya. Nagpatugtog ng songs ni NeYo, siguro to distract me. Kilala na namin ang isa't isa kasi sya din anes ni OB nung niraspa ako a few years back. Alam nya nerbyosa ako. Then he told me na sa spine ituturok anes kaya dapat daw sundin ko instructions nila. Tapos sabi nya "O eto mommy ang paunang anes, konting pampamanhid lang" sabay inject sa swero ko. Ang nasabi ko na lang "Aray!" then I fell asleep. Ni hindi ko na namalayan yung pag inject sa spine ko. Nagising lang ulit ako may nakaharang na tela na sa harap ko tapos alam ko nagsisimula na sila sa operation kasi nauga na yung table tapos blackout na ulit ako. Sa katulad kong 4 years naghintay bago mabiyayaan, walang puwang ang pagtatanong kung bakit di ako nakapanganak ng normal. Ang mahalaga buhay at malusog ang anak ko.

I also have scoliosis and may rod ako sa whole spine kaya nahirapan yung anesthesiologist to find the groove for window sa epidural anesthesia and yes hindi covered or hindi kakaltasan ng philhealth yung hospital bills since outright or patients request CS  din ako. Same reason kung bakiy ako nagpa patient's request cs kasi takot si hubby and parents ko na baka hindi kayanin ng back ko maglabor and we're glad tama yung decision namin na mag pa outright cs. I just gave birth last september

I also have scoliosis and may rod ako sa whole spine kaya nahirapan yung anesthesiologist to find the groove for window sa epidural anesthesia and yes hindi covered or hindi kakaltasan ng philhealth yung hospital bills since outright or patients request CS  din ako. Same reason kung bakiy ako nagpa patient's request cs kasi takot si hubby and parents ko na baka hindi kayanin ng back ko maglabor and we're glad tama yung decision namin na mag pa outright cs. I just gave birth last september

Naku sis, pareho nga.. ako naman naremove na yung operation.

Di ba yun enough reason para maCS tayo?, I mean considering na ganun ang condition ng back natin, no choice but to have CS so dapat non-elective din siya ang considered sa philhealth di ba?

Nanghihinayang din kasi ako sa philhealth benefits eh dapat naman atang ma CS tayo

^ako dati mga two months lang after cs kasi naiinitan ako... sabi ng mom ko sakin dapat hanggat kaya para bumalik talaga tummy sa dati.

thanks sis! Gusto ko na tanggalin aftr a month i gave birth tapos girdle na lang,ang init kasi eh tapos [textspeak!] pa pantay [textspeak!] tummy ko..puson lang kasi ang nacocoveran ng binder ko,yung upper tummy hinde,unlike pag girdle,mula sikmura pababa sa puson..

Mga sis,

Meron ba sa inyo na sumasakit pa din ang cs scar kahit ilang taon na since nanganak?
Kumikirot kasi ang tahi ko ngayon, pag lumalakad and lalo pag nagsneeze or ubo.. di naman siya namumula or namamaga... 3 years na since ma-cs ako...

Di ko alam if its because i have my period or what...
