talaga? naku, sa malamang sa next pregnancy ko cs pa rin. though we plan naman na sundan ang 1st baby namin after 5 years pa, we are still hoping na kayanin ng normal. depende pa rin pala sa cut yun?

is it normal na mangati yung sugat? nangangati siya ngayon. hindi ko naman makamot kasi natatakot ako baka magdugo. nga pala, until when kayo naglalanggas ng sugat at naglalagay ng gaza? tsaka when kayo naligo ng full bath? mag one month na ako sa oct 1 pero hindi ko pa rin binabasa kapag naliligo ako eh.

yun nga iniisip ko kung gano katagal eh. what is the ideal time na pwede ka na ulit mag baby? totoo ba na once na cs ka na, cs ka na sa lahat ng baby mo? o depende sa cut? yung sa akin kasi yung pa vertical eh.

alam ko it's harder for vertical cuts na mag-vbac kasi the risk of rupture is greater (against the grain kasi, kumbaga)

and maraming conditions for vbac... like yung reasons for the CS should not be present in this case; and kung naka-ilang CS ka na (pag isa pa lang, pede pa i-vbac, pag naka 2 na, no na; and kung wala kang complications this time (kasi what if nung first mo is breech nga lang, pero ngayon you have a bad case of gdm or gestational hypertension?); and your pelvic ratio is good; and the baby is smaller than the first; and how long ago the previous CS was (dapat greater than 1 year and weirdly enough, less than 5 yrs, pag longer ng 5 yrs, hindi rin daw nagiging succesful ang vbac attempts eh)

and then there's the fact that you should be able to go to the hosp agad the minute you have contractions; they can't induce labor; they prefer painful (walang mga epi) kasi mas tatagal ang labor when muffled ang pain; hindi rin pwedeng matagal ang labor (for the rupture risks)

my OB also said she uses forceps pag naka-engage na ulo ng baby kasi nga para wag na super umire ang mom

and if the vbac attempt doesn't go well, emergency CS ka... vertical cut

when you think about all these things... parang ang hassle, andami conditions... and yet, parang same lang naman din pag normal, there could be numerous complications before, during and after

ako talaga... i would have gone for the vbac if only because this is the only chance i have to do it, kaso nga I wanna give birth in Asian while we live in Manila... eh alangan naman pag-leave-in ko hubby ko just to wait for my labor with me... nanghihinayang ako kasi i'd much rather he uses his leave credits after the baby is born

as it is, my OB gave me conditions when I can still go to Asian and when I'm better off at nearby Madocs, in case mag-labor ako before my scheduled CS



REB... i took a bath on my 3rd day ata and took a bath everyday thereafter, sometimes twice or thrice pa kasi mainit mag-bfeed... and always hinahayaan ko lang sya mabasa... nung first week may tegaderm pa sya, after that, wala na, pero keri lang talaga... kung mabasa sya eh di mabasa, punasan

ang dami palang conditions. naiinis kasi ako til now baket ako na cs when i have this feeling na yung OB na yun ay isang CS fan. hay...

ako din sis naliligo araw araw pero hindi ko binabasa yung sugat ko kaya mas matagal ako sa banyo. hassle, gustong gusto ko na maligo ng normal. next week ko pa malalaman kung pwede na maligo ng normal. hindi naman ako nag tegaderm, nag gaza lang ako as per OB's order when I was still in the hospital.

reb.,.. mahirap nga kasi talaga ngayon, few OBs like waiting and risking... then again, the important thing pa din is safe kayo ni baby

I've actually read of cases where women had had a VBA2C (Vaginal Birth after 2 caesareans). One article pa nga was an unassisted birth.
But maybe VBAmultipleC's just aren't procedures that OB's sa atin are willing to take because of the risks.
And, again this is speaking lang from my experience with my friends who've had VBAC's, none of them were subjected to forceps extraction.

I have a friend na magho-home birth next month, CS sya before   My hubby nga lang isn't for that kind of thing... when I suggested lying-in clinic or giving birth in the sitting/squatting position (parang UK women do this pag at-home births) nga with my 1st pregnancy, sinamaan lang ako tingin eh

I think typical reaction yan talaga ng mga husbands. My husband also looked at me like I grew a third eye when I told him I wanted to switch from OB to midwife in the middle of my 1st pregnancy. But after the first meeting with the midwife medyo kumampante naman ang loob nya konti and then of course he researched more about it and educated himself on childbirth and all that and now, advocate na din sya ng midwife-assisted births. Mas strong pa nga ang feelings nya now about it kesa sa akin. LOL

On my 3rd day after CS, naligo na ko kagad kase naka-tegaderm naman ako. Tomorrow ko daw to tatanggalin sabe ng OB then normal gauze na lang. I take a bath twice a day pa din kase mainit talaga chaka nagbi-breastfeed ako kaya gusto ko malinis talaga.

ilang days kaya pwedeng maligo na pwedeng wala nang gaza? at pwedeng mabasa yung sugat? takot ako mabasa baka mainfect.

reb...after ko kasi inalis ang tegaderm ko, hindi na ako nag-gasa as in ekshuli nag-gasa lang ako with the tegaderm ata... so basa kung basa yung sugat... i just take a bath as usual pero hindi ko super sinasabon yung area na yun (takot ako hawakan) pero i make sure I super rinse...

tas kasi nga... alaga lang sa betadine and yung ointment... tas put on the binder ulit, ganun lang (tho nung nangangati nako sa binder, i'd put on lampin before the binder

itatanong ko nga mamaya sa ob ko mamaya kasi may check up ako. last check up ko na ngayon to eh. nangangati din ako sa binder ko, nakakainis kaso kailangan magtiis talaga. sana pwede na ako maligo ng pwede basain yung sugat.

^reb ako naman after tinanggal yung tegaderm, i take a bath as usual tapos saka nililinis and nilalagyan ng gauze yung sugat.

talaga? diba kakapanganak mo pa lang? natatakot kasi ako na ma infect yung sugat eh kaya hindi ko talaga binabasa. mag 1 month na ako sa friday. hindi ko talaga gusto ang feeling na hindi nakakaligo ng maayos. nakakainis.

^oo sis, as in september 22 lang ako nanganak. i really made sure na clear kame ng OB ko na pwedeng maligo kase ayoko din naman na mapahamak ako.

hi sisses... buti now may ganito na? nung nanganak ako, 2 years ago, nanghula lang ako and nakinig sa OB kung [textspeak!] gagawin. after giving birth, naka tegaderm din ako, kaso sabi ni ob pag may nakita daw na blood from the white cloth, trangalin daw at palitan. and sis na irritate un wounds ko, but not because of binder naka binder din ako for 4 weeks kasi daw para bumalik sa dati ang shape ng tyan, kaso i was so excited to watch a movie, niyaya ako ng friends ko, ayun nag lakad ako ng mall.. tapos biglang nag sugat ulit un c section ko, and sabi ni ob nilalabas daw ang tahi from inside. so i suggest mga sis, wag mag push or force ng things and work na mabibigat. huhuhuhu nag sisi talga ako... kasi hinid nag close and skin ko. kaya ugly tummy tuloy. maliit lang sana un stitches ko.

hindi mo na nilalagyan ng gauze man lang sis kahit tinanggal mo na yung binder?

Pag tinatanggal ko yung binder ko madalas ako kabagan for some reason and pag may kabag ako sumasakit yung sugat ko. I wear my binder during the day lang kase hinde ako makahinga pag gabi.
