^my ob allowed me to wet the "tahi" as soon as i got discharged, sis. but on my part, i wet it after a week (the day i saw ob again).  i suggest you go see your ob asap, sis. mahirap ng lumaki ang infection kung meron.  go na sis.

@bbthesaurus you have to see your ob. That's 1 thing na ayaw ng ob ko mangyri. A week after may delivery I had to see her nag IE tapos sabay press sa puson to check if may nana na lalabas. Sa friend ko that happened na infect [textspeak!] stitch kaya may nana. Her ob gave some oral meds and topical din. May infection ka ata basta see your ob para sure.

sa akin sis after 1 month at saka ko binasa [textspeak!] tahi actually bago ako naligo. and daat nililinis everyday [textspeak!] tahi until magdry na siya. what i did before was clean with agua ox.. then betadine then ointment tas put gauze.

Na pwersa ata wound ko last night. Super hataw sa work after a while sumakit siya sobra like onting touch masakit na. Buti nalang nawala rin when I was on the way home.

ang mahal talaga... tinawaran na nga siya ng mom ko pati [textspeak!] dentist namin na taga tmc din tried to talk to her pero wala pa rin. sobrang mukhang pera.. and it seems na ayaw niya makipag-usap sa amin para di kami makahingi ng discount. name niya dra. felecitas lector. we never came back to her after ako umalis sa hospital.

Sis tin5716, bigla tuloy ako ngworry kasi si Dr. Lector ang OB ko and nasa 70k nga raw magagastos kapag cs at 50k pagnormal. Medyo alangan nga ako kung sa medical pa rin ako manganganak sa January since mahal ang bill dun at bayad sa knya. May maisusuggest ka ba na OB from Pasig? Hindi ko rin sya feel kasi masungit sya. Napilitan lan ako dun pagpacheck up monthly kasi un ang sinuggest ng MIL ko..

diba a strip is used on the tahi (parang transparent band aid? tegaderm and brand and cheaper when you buy at the hospital instead of at mercury) and it's replaced before you get discharged? I was instructed before na palitan sya ng 1 time pa (parang after every 2-3 days ata) but ako, 2 beses ako nagpalit...

pero ever since I could stand up, naligo nako and hinayaan kong mabasa lahat so when I didn't have that strip anymore... nabasa na din sya... judicious lang ako sa betadine and ointment but that was it...

question pala mga mommies. kasi kaka=cs ko lang last aug14 and ngayon tuyo na yung sugat ko, normal lang ba yun na pag gumigilid parang may makirit sa loob? i mean naiisip ko kasi baka mamaya nag rapture na yung ahi sa loob although la naman mga pus or tubig na nalabas sa tahi ko. hehe kelan ba mawawala ng todo yung kirot sa loob? yung ika 5th day ko kasi nag stop na ko uminom ng pain reliever kasi tolerable na naman yung pain, mejo uncomfortable lang pag biglang tayo. tsaka normal lang din ba yung pag mag pee mejo parang mahapdi yung loob? not necessary yung vag pero yung sa loob mismo? parang may hapdi pa din?

mga sis meron ba dito naka experience ng birth crawl kahit c/s? pwede kaya yun? sabi kasi ni OB depende daaw kung di masyado madugo ang c/s ko nyay!

^^ sis yung makirot pag nag pee naexperience ko yan kasi daw ginamitan ako ng catheter. Parang masakit noh? yung feeling na baka may sumama na laman pag nagwee wee. hehe. and yes medyo may makirot pa rin talaga lalo na pag tumatayo. Last april 11 ako na CS and mga 2 weeks din recovery ko, pero in 3 days nag lalakad lakad na ko. Yung iba nga daw halos a month bago sila makalakad ng maayos.

naligo ako agad pag-uwi ko sa bahay... pero i made it a point na hindi basain ang sugat kasi my OB told me na sa 3rd pa pede palitan ng gasa.
so sa 3rd day ko pa binasa...

bumangon at naglalakad na rin ako kinabukasan after ko ma-CS
mahirap lang bumangon noon and i need extra help, pero tama ang sabi na mas mabilis ang recovery kung pipilitin agad na maglakad ng tuwid.

basta, pakiramdaman nyo kung hanggang saan ang kaya ng katawan nyo

mommies, na-CS ako march last year sa panganay ko & ma-repeat CS ako next week na... 

naalala ko kasi last year, after akong naturukan ng anes, nakatulog agad ako... nagising lang ako ng bahagya nung nilabas si baby pero sobrang saglit lang yon kasi major major bangag ako..  sa recovery room na talaga ko nagkamalay...

this time sana, gusto kong ma-experience na gising talaga during the whole procedure and makita ko si baby na inilalabas sakin... kaso iniisip ko na baka kabahan naman ako at tumaas lang bp ko e magka-problema pa...


pa-share naman po ng experiences na conscious kayo during the procedure... di ba nakakatakot? hehe.. thanks in advance!

emergency CS ako on my 1st son... so bangag na ko nun from the pain killers when we we're trying to deliver normal

kaya matagal tumalab ang anesthesia nung i-CS nila ako

i know what is happening to me.  sobrang hilong-hilo ako from the drugs that i thought i was going to throw up.  nag-chills din ako.  i was shaking on the first on-slaught of the medicine.

i heard the doctors saying that the baby is fine, pero since matagal ng walang amiotic fluid sa loob, he was already struglling kaya napulupot ang umbilical cord nya sa leeg.  when i heard my son cry. oblivion na since alam ko na ok sya.

nagising ulit ako, nasa recovery room na ako.  sobrang tagal, before nila ako dinala sa room ko.  i was concious and very tired.

after ako madala sa room, my OB ordered no pillows to balance my BP.  binigyan din ulit ako ng sedative to put me out.

on my 2nd time... tulog na ako all the while. nagising ako hating-gabi na, when the nurse are checking my BP since medyo tumaas daw during operation.

i find the 2nd time more pleasant.

I had my repeat CS 3 weeks ago at gising ako the whole procedure. Hindi kasi ako pwedeng patulugin kasi meron akong asthma. So lahat ng mga nangyayari at sinasabi ng Docs naririnig ko. half lang ng body ko ang walang pakiramdam kaya the whole time na nasa OR ako nagrorosary ako. Nong lumabas na si baby pinalapit nila agad sa akin yon nga lang hindi sya pwede mag breastfeed agad kasi hindi pa naclose yong wound pero after nilang pinakita sa akin si baby tsaka lang ako tinurukan ng Demerol para makatulog. It was a nice experience na gising ako the whole time kasi panay ang check ko sa bp monitor. Hindi naman ako nag panic nong time na yon kasi ang ginawa ko nagdasal lang ako ng nagdasal. I let God control everything at sobrang tiwala din ako sa OB ko kaya kampante ako the whole procedure.

Before the operation pala, may OB checked my hemoglobin at sobrang baba kaya nadelay ng 2 days ang operation, kasi kailangan pa akong mag blood transfusion, kaso walang blood donor at walang available blood sa Red Cross at  DOH na blood type. Ayaw kasi ng OB ko na mag opera na mababa ang hemoglobin ko kasi baka daw masobrahan ang bleeding at maubusan ng dugo. Siguro dapat lahat ng mag undergo ng CS maging aware tayo the importance of checking our hemoglobin first kasi eto daw yong case kung bakit may mga namamatay na nanganganak kasi walang reserbang dugo na makukunan agad. I am very thankful na hindi pabaya ang OB ko.

It's also why am taking iron everyday now talaga (parang sa first pregnancy ko, I didn't really have to)  kasi nga mare-repeat CS ako come Nov

^ hey sisses you can try CUTASCEPT im not sure of the spelling. speeds up pagdry ng mga tahi. ganito kasi ginamit ng mom ko when she had hysterectomy and the cut is the same with c section. given to her ng OB niya.

hi mga sis. na cs din ako nung sept 1 and i have some questions baka matulungan niyo ako. ilang days ba naglalast yung bleeding? 7th day ko na today at may lumalabas pa na konting blood kaya i still use modess all night. isa pa, kelan ulit pwedeng mag contact if cs ka? tia!

@reb, normal lang yan sis. mine lasted for 2weeks.  pero after 10th day mahina na. kahit normal na pads na lang.

about sa contact. be careful. as soon as you feel na kaya mo na pwede na.  but never do it without contraceptive.

kasi sa ganyan ako nadali ni hubby. kaya, after ~3 months buntis na naman ako.  hmp! hindi pa ako nakakapagtake ng POP buntis na naman!

^^ thanks sa reply sis. hindi pa kasi ako pwedeng magcontraceptive ngayon dahil nagbbreastfeed ako. mawawala yung gatas sabi nila.

just visit your OB again and ask for a POP (progestine only pills)
this is what breastfeeding moms use to keep them same

hindi makaka-interrupt sa breastfeeding mo since your body will think na pregnant ka pa rin ang would maintain your progestine hormones which is also needed in producing milk.

kawawa naman din kasi si hubby kung 6months na diet pa rin kasi you're not taking contraceptives because of breastfeeding
