Has any of you tried Smart Steps Baby Laundry Detergent? http://www.mommysmartsteps.com/products_babydetergent I saw these at the grocery, and it's slightly less expensive compared to cycles detergent, so decided to buy this brand. And I was surprised to discover na same din pala yung company na gumawa nito sa cycles and cradles. So probably the quality is good too. Just washed my baby's clothes with it (due to give birth this December), and mabango naman siya, light lang ang scent. Don't plan to use fabric conditioner since mas nakakacause 'to ng allergies and okay naman yung clothes even without fabcon.

we're using Cradles & Cycles talaga.  Kung nawalan ng Cradle, i bought yung Tiny Buds, almost same price.
i saw nga yung Smart Steps, na intriga ako kasi lesser price, but haven't tried yet coz i don't understand yet about the product...

then ang dami kong na receive na baby laundry detergent, White Dove ang name, from Personal Collection, very very cheap priced sya, i haven't tried them yet... local sya.  not putting discrimination on local products, it's just that i don't know about it yet, unlike sa Cradles & Cycles, talagang subok na ng madami at matagal na.

My baby developed rashes all over his body. We didn't introduce any new food nor I didn't eat anything new (he's exclusively breastfed). So we think the culprit is the Smart Steps detergents. Normally, we use cycles or the perwoll baby. But when I went to the grocery, they only had the liquid cycle (which I don't like) and no perwoll baby, only the pink one. When I saw smart steps I thought to try it out. bad idea!!!! We noticed he broke to rashes two hours after taking a bath and dressing him up. We had to re-wash all his clothes laundered using that soap. It never happened again after.

baby ko since NB perla lang gamit namin kaso ang hirap kasi dahil handwash palagi. wala kasing powder nito so hindi ko mafigure kung paano ko gagamitin for machine wash. ayoko naman igrate kasi parang ineffective. i just wonder if you practice washing your babies' clothes everyday? feeling ko kasi maiiiwan yung amoy ng lungad sa damit nya pag hindi agad nalabhan. 

itatry ko palang bumili ng other brands like victoria and perwoll baby. sana makasundo ng baby ko. sa fabcon naman gamit namin del hypo allergenic. mabango siya and matipid.

^^ sis hanny_all, thanks for sharing.  yan din ang worry ko kung mag try ng new brand for baby's clothes.  i don't want to take risk.  ang back-up namin ay Perla bar, palagi meron kaming stock nyan pero use only kung naubusan lang talaga ng pang baby.  We don't see any adverse reaction from using Perla.

Am using Cycles liquid for my 1 month old.  Love the smell of Cycles. I use automated washing machine so almost dry na paglabas.  Konting patuyo na lang sa araw.  Read about using vinegar as final rinse and I'd like to try that on our clothes too instead of using Downy although I don't use fab con on the baby's clothes to prevent allergies.

I use D-nee baby liquid detergent for my baby's clothes. Bought this at Kuku baby boutique at Market2. Blue container, lovely sky scent. Sooo bango, light powder scent. According to the description, NO dyes, optical brighteners, enzymes, fabric softener and bleach. Retails for 219 for a 960ml container. Not bad, huh?

For his lampins, blankets and cloth diapers I use Victoria detergent.

been using cycles for my baby's clothes. i tried smart steps kase sample, pero mas like ko yung amoy ng cycles eh. pag naubos na yun, i might try charlie's soap naman.

medyo off topic pero ask ko narin.
until when ba dapat pina-plantsa ang damit ni baby?  8months na kasi sya at palagi parin namin plantsa lahat ng fabric items nya - damit, bib, lampin na gamit namin sa pawis nya, pati ata medyas pina-plantsa ng yaya... 

wala lang, napag isip-isip ko lang kasi baka pwedi ng yung mga damit na pang alis nalang ang plantsahin, para maka tipid narin kami sa kuryente.

si baby rin kasi, super lakas magpawis ng ulo! kaya madalas naka-aircon sya.  pero kahit naman naka-aircon, talagang tagaktak ang pawis nya kapag natutulog kaya nilalagyan namin ng lampin ang ulo nya para masipsip ang pawis... kaya ayun, ang mahal ng kuryente namin.

i use cycles for my baby..wala pa akong ibang maisip na other option..so far so good with this brand..

^sis, yung mga everyday clothes ni baby hindi namin pinaplantsa..dito lang naman sya sa house and hindi naman lukutin yung mga sando, shorts nya..

Cycles kame since pinanganak si baby pero nung nag out of stock sa shopwise, napabili ako nung smart steps, mas mura. Pero disappointed ako. Di mabango and according sa helper, di rin masyado nakakalinis unlike yung cycles daw. So went back to cycles na.

for my baby's clothes naman, we use cycles detergent (powder) and smart steps na fabric conditioner.  So far ok naman siya & mabango naman kasi! My mom kasi thinks better to use fabric conditioner especially during the rainy days para mabango daw clothes ni baby.  tapos all his clothes are ironed din.

We've been using Charlie's Soap for my baby from newborn up til now. It's what we also use for our clothes
