We had our daughter baptized at the Shrine of Jesus Parish (the church near MOA) last 7 March 2013 (Thursday). Since weekday yun, we provided the priest. Hindi naman sila naging strict sa amin. Kasi nakapasok naman ang grandparents, yayas, some friends, and our photographer

^kami we decided to go with caterer kasi pag resto, nagwoworry ako baka hindi enough yung food... at least kung caterer, buffet pa and maraming choices

I have reserved Bella Ibarra in quezon avenue for my baby's baptismal this coming aug 31, 2013. The church will just be near also the reception venue it will be held at the Philam church st rita church ata yun. I also booked starbucks for my food cart i just went direct to the nearest starbucks where my reception will be held. Any suggestions for the ninong/ninag give away?  I hired my friend who is a party planner and she will be the kne to tdo the decors and all she she doesnt chsrge that much incase anyone is nterested just pm me... practical ba sa clubhse then catering?

^cheaper na lang ang isagot ko sis kasi d ko grasp ang practical dahil parehas choices malaki ang gastos (unless fast food restaurant). Mas cheaper ang restaurant lalo na if maayos hitsura (less gastos na sa decor) tapos d kamahalan ang food. Wala ka na kasing babayaran venue (kadalasan lang may minimum guarantEed income silang sini-set mas swerte if matyempo sa walang ganun na requirement).

Pag binyag kaSi kadalasan lunch ang reception kasi usually mid-morning yun ceremony nun sacrament sa church.

Most restaurants na usual kinukuha na reception place pag binyag ay may basic amenities na, marami rin sa mga ito  may mga packages na.

Isa pa na maganda sa restaurants e pag dumami ang bisita at kinulang ang food mabilis gawan ng paraan.


Kung mayroon ka naman alam na mura na venue, tipong 5k below tapos ang mapili mo na caterer tipong PhP 220-280/pax lang then ang food marami na (4 viands, pasta, rice etc na) e mas mura na ito. 30k pwede na sa 100 adults if wala ng decor atbp. Wala kasi ako alam sa mga DIY na decor, invites etc kasi kung sa mga ganyan may talento ka malaki talaga mababawas sa gastos.

Sa dulo kasi, budget at preference naman  ang makakatulong sa atin magdecide.

Any new recommendations fro a baptism reception in Manila?
My son was baptized in St Vincent de Paul Church in Manila, our reception was held in Banana Leaf, Robinson's Ermita. That was 4 years ago. 
Im planning to go to the same church for baptism, was wondering if there are any new venues/restaurants that popped up since then. target invitees is 80pax, same as 4 years ago.

If you're looking for a venue sa Makati, I suggest J.CuppaCakes Cupcakery. Lalo na for events na shabby chic/dainty/cutesy ang theme. For small events, they can accommodate up to 50 or 60 siguro.

We booked Quido's Grill and Cafe Catering Services for our son's Christening reception on January. Kinuha namin both their venue and catering services.

Since OFW kaming mag -asawa, parents ko ang nagpunta doon kahapon. Ok naman daw ang facilities sabi ng parents ko. Any feedback regarding them? Actually di sila ang first choice ko kaso ang gusto kong caterer di available sa date ng binyag ng baby namin.

Mga sis, 2pm ang sched ng binyag ni baby. Yun na lang kasi ang available. Ano usually ang isserve during the reception? merienda lang or full meal pa din?

Btw, sa up chapel pala yung church & sa chocolate kiss naman yung iniisip naming reception. Any feedback sa chocolate kiss? Iniisip ko pa din kasi kung sa balay kalinaw na lang then hanap ng caterer. Any suggestions sa caterer?

^Since 2pm ang scheduled binyag, approximately 4pm ang reception which covers merienda. But choice mo pa din iyon sis if you want to go for a full meal with rice etc.

^^My daughter's binyag reception was at 2PM too back in 2010. We served merienda buffet.

Mga sis, any recommendation na resto sa Market Market Taguig? Yun affordable syempre Aside from Max`s. Since, binyag naman ayoko sana na super crowded na bisita. Ninong, ninang at family lang talaga. Mga 50pax lang ang plan ko to invite.  Thanks in advance.

The ol spaghetti house, Hap chan...shakeys sa 2nd floor but i don't k ow if they accept bookings...meron din buffet sa may labas near the entrance...
