hi mga sis, im planning din for my son's baptismal, and based po sa mga nabasa ko dito sa FN, ok ang shakeys as reception kasi mukang matipid yung MMD nila na pwede gawing buffet,.ask ko lang po sana dun sa mga nakatry na makapagpabaptismal party sa shakeys: may additional fees pa po ba para sa party area at sa balloon decor?? how much po kaya?? TIA

HI! Im giving birth palang this April, pero nagprepare na ako for the binyag of my son.
choice namin for church is Christ The King, ive read na 3200 yung special nila ano? what are the inclusions nun? me bayad pa ba ang mga godparents? sat ba or sun ang binyag? im looking at May 25 or 26 or June 1 or 2.

so im checking on possible venue for the reception.
 gusto ko sana talaga eh, some function hall then cater but im still open for resto. nabasa ko na yung max tiende is masikip, i think my guests will be a hundred plus, dahil based pa lang sa wedding ko last november eh, halos 90pax ang family pa lang namin both ni hubby. eh ang friends- godparents pa! i like yung dad's merienda buffet, tipid talaga! pasisimula ko na lang agad ang kainan. try ko nga sumilip minsan. last december my nephew had his 3rd birthday there eh. pero lunch yung buffet na kinuha ng cousin ko. nandun kami sa function room.

feeling ko with the number of people invited mas okay sakin ang function kaysa sa resto. kasi some resto have limited space. mas mahal lang talaga pag function, kasi di naman pwedeng napaka dull lang ng place, eh i was planning to design the place according to theme pa naman haha

question: is yung date ng preferred ko na binyag eh peak season na kailangang as early as now eh na book ko na or pwede pa naman at maluwag pa, pag mga end ng feb ako mag book ganun..

plano ko sa Stacy's na ang reception ng baby ko sa June. ano ano bang malapit na church sa may capitol hills? may aircon mas maganda kasi naman super pawisin ako, diyahe naman kung pawis pawis ako habang binyagan!

^^ my nephew was baptized at CTK late last year. special/solo baptism din. all they had to bring are the candles for the godparents... my nephew had 5 pairs of godparents, no extra fee naman was charged. (but i think only 2 pairs of godparents were in the certificate. im not very sure about this.)

if you plan to have the reception in the hall or the function rooms, its better to book early para sure na ok ang timing ng reception mo after the rite. madami rin kasing nagpapa baptize and reception sa ctk. i would say, mga 3-4 months in advance ang booking para sure.

btw our caterer was CVJ. i wasnt able to attend the baptism, but feedback was good.

^thanks sis, like if more than that kaya yung aking pairs of ninong and ninang? kasi hahahaha i think around 17 pairs kami, carefully picked naman. pero i think 1/4 sa kanila di naman darating kasi nasa ibang bansa. ang dami pasensya na. hahaha.

magbubook na siguro ako by february sa CTK. habang ang reception ay pinagiisipan ko pa naman. hehe.

natikman ko na din ang CVJ, naging caterer sa isang event ng hotel na niworkan ko yan last year eh.

^ im not sure how many people can fit in the baptistry. ang alam ko mejo maliit sya. sympre aside from the godparents, for sure pupunta din immediately families nyo... anyway ask nalang the office... or maybe you can request that the rite be done in the church itself kung madami talagang attendees.

the earlier, the better. box-office kasi solo baptism sa ctk. normally kasi chosen times are close to lunch or merienda kaya madaling maubos ang slots.  and they dont accept pencilbooking nga pala.

^ siguro mag asikaso na kami before mag end ang february!
lalagay ko lang siguro sa invitation yung reception, tapos god parents lang at immediate family sa binyag ceremony.

cvj, actually di ko maalala yung mismong food na kinain ko dun nun nagpa sample sila sa amin. pero nasarapan ako nun eh, ang dami kong nakain. then nun sa event, wala naman kaming bad feedback na nareceive.

yung eloquente pa mas sanay ako kainin food nila, kasi sila yung concessionaire naman dun sa isa ko pang pinasukan. sadly di ko na maalala yung mga food na hinahanda nila haha. memory gap na.

My daughter was baptized at CTK in 2010. 3200 yung rate for the special baptism sa baptistry. This is regardless of how many pairs of godparents you have pero the baptistry isnt too big din naman. My daughter's baptism was held on a Saturday.

I was aiming for a saturday solo baptism this feb at CTK for my baby but i've already ran out of slot. so i opted for the mass baptism which is held every sunday at 10 am. the fee is P600, 1st two pairs of sponsors are free. CTK will charge P50/sponsor in excess of the 2 pairs.

There's a bigger venue for reception at CTK where the wedding receptions are usually held. I just don't know how much is the fee cuz I reserved the smaller, Luke Hall--P3000 for 2 hours function.

We're considering Racks El Pueblo for our recrption. Churchslamng Mary the Queen in greenhills. Ok packages sa Racks plus tried and tested na namin na masarap

^Ok naman sa Racks El Pueblo pero maliit lang yung 2nd floor area nila. I guess it's ok for intimate celebrations.

^Kung 60 sis I think kasya naman comfortably. Yung in-attendan namin before sabe ng friend ko na host, mga 80 daw yung dumating. Ayun ang sikip nga. Plus, kiddie party naman kase yon so may mga kids na naglalaro.

hi sis i just had my baby dedication last saturday in Ysabel's Garden, inside bf resort.  In LP din kaso not along alab-zap road. pero if in alab zap road, dami naman restos. max's near philam and sa may westgate/ atc area madami din..
