^parang mas mahal mag-rent ng venue kase aside from the rental fee, may catering pa, decors, etc. Pag resto, usually they offer packages that would include decors na. Depende din siguro sa resto na pipiliin mo.

I'll be following ichelie's advice regarding Dad's. Meryenda buffet yung kukunin ko kase yung time ng binyag sa CTK, pang-meryenda talaga yung reception. Mas mura sa dad's megamall kesa sa EDSA.

^sis eto ba yung halos tapat ng podium? Naicheck ko ito 2yrs ago d ko masyado gusto mas ok pa yung sa one san miguel ave bldg na d din masyado kasi parihaba yung lugar at may mga poste. Maaliwalas kasi yung OSMA kaya nagugustuhan ko ang malayan naman ang ganda yung location sis at if kaunti lang bisita ok rin naman

the first 3 pictures are upstairs... ka-level ng pool... na pa-L ang shape... as in yung first picture po yung pinaka-buntot na L na kung nasa may pintuan kayo leading to the pool side, hindi ninyo makikita yung nasa couch and vice versa... then parang lumalabas na tatlo ang passage... one leading to the pool, one leading to the elevator and another leading to the stairs...

so yung 7th to 9th picture naman po is yung pool side which hindi naman allowed na puntahan ng mga guests... it will be closed actually pag may event or may nag-rent...

and then the rest of the pics was taken downstairs...

just for you to have a clearer idea, everytime i took pics of venues, pumupuwesto lang po ako sa pinaka-gitna ng room and take every frame nang paikot... so, obviously, maliit lang ang area since in 3 shots lang, naikot ko na yung room.

sis, sulit nga yung sa Dad's megamall.  My due date last yr. was Sept or early Oct.  As early as Aug, nag pencil book na ko.  Kasi peak season na yan ng parties (madami may bday ng ber months).  I reserved agad yung 1:30 pm baptism sa CTK, Sunday yun, and special baptism. Medyo mahal ang rate ng CTK for baptism, but I sched it in time for Dad's megamall, merienda buffet.  Dun ako nakatipid ng sobra!  P180/ head with drinks.  Sa Dad's Edsa, parang 260, may minimum na 100pax yata, kasi special set up yun for them.  Unlike Megamall na may merienda bufeet talaga.  Sa guests namin na 100pax, family lang halos lahat, nasulit yung buffet.  Binyag and 3rd bday ng kids ko yun.  So super short program lang, and then kainan na.  Just book early to reseve the enclosed function hall, they reserve it if 100pax guests.

Sisses, suggestion lang:  I had my baby's binyag reception at the Banana Leaf Asian Cafe at Robinson's Place Midtown. We occupied the whole restaurant for three hours, and we spent around 29k for 80 people, buffet setup. I think it was around p299 per head, additional 30 pesos if you want to upgrade to bottomless iced tea for drinks. The food was good and it it's not your typical binyag reception fare.
