for an intimate gathering meaning 70pax with no program Ah Sin at galleria is okay.  given that the ceremony is as edsa shrine.  it is buffet and with 50 guest you can have the whole area for 2.5hours.  the place is uber small, cozy and the food is great.   

I agree.  I posted here my experience with them as well.  If you're having a small, intimate, no frills gathering, Ah Sin is my reco.  Just don't forget to ask for their reco when it comes to food

Hmmm...i'm not aware of any website ng Ah Sin e.  Pero if I remember it right, ganito ang menu ng P245 eat all you can:

2 rice, 2 pork, 1 beef, 2 fish, 2 chicken, 3 appetizers, 3 deserts, soup, salad...simple lang ang place pero maganda naman.

yung sa food, ask them for their recommendation kasi yung ire-reco nila, yun ang specialty nila.  i was happy with our chosen food   they do free taste for 2 pax, so ask them na lang para you can try.  we had 90 guests, worried nga ako na di kumasya pero ok naman.  max yata kasi nila dapat 70 lang...

hello mga sis!!! binyag ng anak ko end of this month, undecided parin ako sa place.. dito ako malapit sa sta lucia mall cainta. [textspeak!] binyag nia sa OLA, marikina. san ba maganda reception for 40-50 guests?? help po thanks.. and magkano kaya aabutin?

girl, yun pong OLA, may reception hall na po... yung green na building... wag na kayong lumayo... or since nasa calumpang na kayo, marami na po diyan sa calumpang area... mga bahay dati na ginawa nang reception area ang mga malalaking bakuran... along gil fernando (dating p. tuazon) ang dami din..

dear, promise, sobrang dami ng venue sa Marikina... even catering service provider, ang dami po namin dito... are u new in Marikina?

^ agree, naka-attend ako ng binyag dun sa baba ng kapitan moi sa malapit sa OLA.  Winner ang food na buffet, i think around 250pax (last 2008).  may buffet pa na halo-halo   marami nga dun, if you dont like the one in the area, malapit yung marquinton, dami restos dun!

hi sisses! may alam po ba kayong place na magandang place for reception ng binyag near taguig city or better living, paranaque? dito po kasi kame malapit. pero wag naman yung uber expensive places in the fort ha. haha. cant afford un. budget 25-35k. tia!

I'm giving birth in October pa naman and plan namin ni hubby na pabinyagan kagad baby namin ng November kase kung paabutin namin ng December, baka fully-booked na mga venues/restos.

We are thinking of having the baptism sa EDSA shrine then the reception at Kamayan's along EDSA. May nakapag-try na ba sa kanila? Iniisip ko kase kung yung lunch buffet talaga kunin ko or magpa-custom ako ng meryenda buffet. Chaka would you guys know kung pwede magpasok ng food cart sa kanila?

San pa kaya sis ang mga pwedeng venues kung sa may EDSA shrine kame magpapabinyag? A friend told us na okay din sa Kamay Kainan kase naka-attend sya ng binyag reception don but I'm not sure kung anong church ang malapit don.

MY ayella's baptism will be on saturday, march 13g agawin sa st. francis sa may crossing (ortigas), then reception sa jade palace sa shaw blvd. ive tasted their food masarap sya.

Im planning to have my youngest's baptismal next month. Any recommended restaurants in Market Market area that are affordable? We're on a tight budget this time so we might expect upto 50pax only. Sana din yung walang corkage when it comes to bringing your own cake and photographer. Tia
