sis, thanks for this feedback.  we considered too the sunday crowd at mega, mega talaga.  though we opted for this kasi yung 100 guests namin, is family pa lang.  may additional pa na friends.  kaya ito yung swak sa budget.  ill talk again to the staff there at Dad's and ask for feedback about pag refill nila ng food.  naka attend na ko ng party dun on a saturday, okay naman. do you have any feedback too, pa PM naman if okay lang.  tia!

sis, youc an inquire over the phone.  ganun lang ginawa ko.  check the number in Dad's website.  madaling mag pa book if walang function.  the function room kailangan minimum of 100pax to avail of it.  if hindi, they can reserve another open area for you. okay rin if you dont have a program for the binyag. mabait naman kausap over the phone yung mga staff nila.  if you have decided na, kahit 2k you can book already.  im not sure if fully booked sila this month, kasi i booked for october pa.  check out mo asap kasi ako 2nd sa list nung date of choice ko.  im not availing of their baptismal package.  pwede daw ma rent lang ng sound system, and pa set up ng cake and gift table (p300).  then no corkage for the cake.  optional din if you want to avail of their balloons.  sulit na sa binyag kasi di madami bawal.  book na soonest!  god bless!

Sa Max's-Taytay gagawin yun reception ng binyag ng baby ko this oct10. Okay naman yun function room and package na pinili ko. Mejo na-off lang ako dun sa store manager cos hindi sya accommodating. Wala na ako time to scout for another place and ito na kasi ang pinaka-okay na malapit sa church. I just hope everything will turn out well...

hi mga sis! pasali po! im planning for the baptism of my son too! and CTK din ang first choice ko for church and kaka inquire ko lang din sa DADS mega this morning! Ang na-inquire ko lang yung lunch crossover buffet nila which is priced at P590 per head plus drinks pa na P86/head. Mag add ako ng P1450 for balloon drops and pillars. Medyo pricey ang total kaya when I read about the merienda na P180/head with drinks pa.. sobrang laki nung mtitipid. feeling ko okay naman yun! Isusuggest ko kay hubby na itry namin next weekend yung merienda buffet to know if okay siya for the reception! gusto ko na sana i-try tomorrow kaya lang birthday ng MIL ko! hehe...

may time bracket ba ang merienda buffet? kasi we had a client na merienda buffet ang kinuha niya and it so happen na 1st bday celebration siya kaya 3 to 5pm yung slot na nakuha niya... siyempre games muna... na-cut yung program ng 4pm for eating time... hindi na nakapag-magic yung host kasi 5pm na and yet, majority of her guests, nakapila pa kasi sobrang haba ng pila sa buffet table ng merienda... akala namin because of nagkasabay lang ng tatlong party... it was a saturday then... the next day, nadaanan ulit kami dun, madami talagang tao sa merienda buffet pag ganung oras pala kasi wala nang party na naka-sked nung dumaan kami pero walang difference yung pila...

I think that's the downside if you will get the lunch or merienda buffet of Dad's or Kamayan, di exclusive yung food sa guests mo, so you cannot control the line since magkasama yung guests mo & walk in customers.

actually,pag yellow or blue plate,maluwag naman sa line.[textspeak!] merienda lang talaga ang matindi.umaabot na nga dun sa malapit na sa comfort room.

Naghahanap din ako ng reception venue for my daughter's binyag. Nakapagpa-register na ako sa Paco Church for Nov. 7, 10am. Individual baptism, fee is just P1k, package na. Mura na sya kasi no more individual fees for the godparents and sponsors.

First choice sana namin is Old Swiss Inn because of the feedback we got about the food. We went to see the place last Sunday kaso sarado sila. Mukhang potential problem ang parking. Masikip kasi yung area. I'm going to call Ibarra naman today. As far as price is concerned, halos pareho lang sila ng Old Swiss Inn.

Aside from Max and Aristocrat, may masa-suggest pa ba kayong restaurant for my baby's binyag?

I just called Aristocrat Roxas Blvd. Basic package for 50 pax is P29,295 (all in).
- 2 hours use of function room
- P500 every succeeding hour
- 1 soup, 3 viands, 1 noodle, steamed rice, leche flan and 1 round of drinks
- P3799/table in excess of 50 pax

were having the baptism reception of my daughter/ 3rd birthday of my son on sunday at dad's megamall.  we wont have program, just short prayer and cake blowing for my son.  we want the guests to enjoy the food.  we know its packed on sunday, so we opted na no program na para at 3pm, guests can start eating.  well just blow the cake later pag nakakain na lahat and starting to have second rounds.  that way, masusulit ang food that we really paid for.

for an intimate gathering meaning 70pax with no program Ah Sin at galleria is okay.  given that the ceremony is as edsa shrine.  it is buffet and with 50 guest you can have the whole area for 2.5hours.  the place is uber small, cozy and the food is great.

feedback with the dad's merienda.  we started eating at 3 cause we dontg have a program for the binyag. yung around 3 to 3.30, mahaba pila.  but after that, nag subside na yung mga tao.  yung mga guests ko, they enjoyed and sila mismo sumuko sa pagbalik to get the food.  the service is okay naman so far.  so sulit yung P180pax

Last Sunday, we had a simple and intimate double celebration of my daughter's 7th bday and my son's dedication. The party was held at Rustica Restaurant along Mother Ignacia, QC. I just love this place! The guests were raving about the food, even my bosses (who are all expats and very pihikan  The wait staff are courteous and very hepful. The place itself is cozy and very apt for a small gathering (their maximum capacity-indoor is for about 70 pax lang, but they have a garden area just outside the resto).

^^ sis mistykaye_p, napuntahan na namin yung rustica.  maganda sana.  at murang mura!  sayang eh kasi fully booked na sila ng lunch and dinner sa araw ng binyag ng pamangkin ko.  the one we talked to was mabait too.

will definitely consider them for future events.  perhaps sa first bday ng pamangkin ko kasi walking distance lang condo nila dun.

had bad experience with them last Dec. super bagal ng service & the food is not that great anymore

sis anneG,  I haven't attended any events on their MOA branch but everytime that hubby and I ate in MOA branch ang bagal bagal nga ng service nila compared sa Malate and yung dati nilang branch sa Glorietta mabilis.
