My friend from NY currently works as a senior manager in their Makati office. From what I know they conduct financial research tapos may parang call center din sila (the one in the fort i think). Ok daw working environment dito although sabi ng friend ko from Citibank madami daw nagreresign at lumilipat sa kanila.

^application procedure, ang gulo. my husband applied for a position, then was endorsed to a headhunter (accdg to another friend, hindi pa daw kaya ng capacity ng HR nila). so the headhunter called, hindi sila magkarinigan because he was in the street that time, so he asked the headhunter to call him back. hindi na ulit tumawag, hehe. sabi ko not meant for him.

Thomson-Reuters a good company, i know someone who works for them. Most of their employees been with them for sometime. Benefits, better than most company; medicard, reimbursements, allowances, yearly appraisal, bonus and trainings. Some are lucky enough to work for their offices abroad.

ay yeah merged na pala sila sa Thomson Financial ang office nya sa Ayala FGU may kakilala ako din nag wo-work. yup casual nga sila. thanks for the info sis. meron silang medicardi know. pero after 6 months ata.

of course, me too sis. If it going to be worth it. May mga ibang company na I have applied before sobrang ginisa rin naman ako, kaya sanay ako sa ganyan.

But for now, I am happy with the company I am working with so pass muna, most specially if they will be moving to different location.

marami na daw transportation sa The Fort bukod sa shuttle. since the emergence of Market! Market!

wala pa naman sis na malinaw kung matatanggap tayo diba? di naman porke nag apply tanggap na tayo at kelangan na natin mag resign sa present job natin.

From what I know, Asia Select ang current headhunter ng Thomson Reuters. They've been calling me for a post pero hindi pa ko pumupunta. Nalilito din ako sa mga sinasabing positions nung headhunter. But my former officemates working for TR now claims that they are well treated sa TR.

Yung isa nga binura na yung idea ng pag punta sa SG dahil contented siya sa TR.

Hindi naman pala sila callcenter.

yup kasi hindi sila nag a-outsource ng mga trabaho or nag susupport ng ibang business. ang sinusupport lang nila at yung products and services nila. mas kilala biling "in house" call center yung mga ganito.

matagal daw sila nga reply sa application daw. sent via email lang kasi walang walk in or thru jobstreet lang.

husband of a family friend works for this company, if im not mistaken sa the fort may bagong open, hiring sila ng call center agents, yong husband ng family friend namen is from london, tapos he's allowed to transfer to manila dahil manganganak na yung wife nya, super daming benefits, at allowed pa sya to go back and forth to london and back to the philippines, trainer yung position pala nya dito
