^ not sure what's your standard of "classy" sis. pero mukha namang it's not your typical laguna resort. actually, di talaga sya resort, more of a hotel.

but i'll give feedback pag balik namin.

kwento mode na 

been to Casa San Pablo (CSP) for an overnight stay.. we really loved the place and their food. sobrang relaxing, just what we need. Mr. Boots was also there to welcome us; he is very accommodating. Fully booked sila dahil may kasabay kami na nag team building and 6 other couples, too.

We arrived there early than our expected check-in so the staff was able to tour us around and let us sneak to other rooms habang wala pa ang other visitors. nakakatuwa ang mga rooms, each has its own theme/style. Season pa ng rambutan, very tempting mamitas kaya lang bawal, but they sell naman at P25/kg.

It's not your typical hotel/resort ; this place is a home sweet home. Nagustuhan din ng friends ko and they will go back pa to bring other friends.

All in all, we were satisfied sa stay namin.. the place, the ambiance, the food, the pool, the view.. love it!

HOWEVER, other visitors (yung mga nag team building) were not kind enough to consider na they were with other guest. Dusa ang tulog namin, at 1am maingay pa sila. We occupied 2 rooms. our room is on the ground floor, my friends' at the 2nd floor. There's this one room at the 2nd floor katabi nung sa friends ko at nasa taas naman ng room namin; sobrang istorbo sila. Heavy feet, maya2 kalabog, pushing the bed, flushing ng CR... paulit-ulit, name it! Same thing reklamo ng friends ko nung nag bfast na kami. 

Next time, if we intend to go back, we will ask for a room na walang katabi.. kasi pati snore ng other room eh maririnig mo.

Nevertheless, we still recommend CSP.. nagkataon lang talaga siguro na inconsiderate yung mga nakasabay namin.

Cost of Membership: Php7,500
Room Upgrade: Php1,000

Thus, Php8,500 gets us Peninsula membership (along with all the discounts and certificates) and a deluxe room overnight. We'll also be using our buffet lunch certificate for 2 at Escolta before checking out.

hehe, pagka ganyang nalilito ako kung saan pupunta, ang ginagawa ko, pupuntahan ko na lang lahat, on different occasions. like yung isa, birthday ko, isa anniversary...etc.. hehe

Hello mga sis.. can anyone suggest a good resort na may room accomodation for aa day lang (not overnight)? Like we can check-in early morning and leave in the evening? Ang balak lang kasi namin is magouting for the day kaya lang wala kami makita na hindi 2pm checkin eh...hope you can help me...Thanks!

^hindi naman kylangan mag-down sis.  basta call to confirm lang.  parang gusto ko din i-try yung kamayan sa palaisdaan.  dami pala natin pupunta dun this weekend eh.  saya-saya!  yung valentino next year na namin i-try after we're married.  tipid mode pa kami ngayon eh coz of wedding gastos.  hehe!

we just got back from rockpoint. and as promised, eto feedback ko. sensya na kasi medyo long read.

@sis freeswan, yes sis sa calamba ito.

1 pm pa lang andun na kami and they accommodated us naman agad. 1:30 nakapag-checkin na kami. mababait naman yung staff nila. medyo konti lang tao kasi monday. so tahimik at parang solong-solo naming yung place although may nakasabay kaming group na nagcoconference.

we got the executive room (no. 111). don't expect a hotel-type of room pero malinis naman at spacious. ok din ang aircon, maayos ang signal ng cable, working lahat ng ilaw. naglagay din sila ng water sa room na nakalagay sa maliit na Coleman water jug. nung una parang ayaw kong inumin kasi di ko alam kung san nila kinuha yung tubig. pero ok naman, lasang malinis na tubig naman (di lasang kalawang or anything). may personal ref din pero hehe, puro kalawang na yung loob at di na masyadong lumalamig.

malinis at spacious din ang bathroom pero it's not super squeaky clean. hindi na white yung ibang tile grouts. ok din ang tubig, di naman amoy kalawang.

may free wifi within the vicinity of the resort pero di maka-connect cellphone ni hubby. I didn't bring my laptop kaya di ko din na-test. pero narinig ko dun sa mga nagcoconference, nakakaconnect naman sila.

there are two outdoor pools pero di namin natry magswimming so di ko sure kung ok. we're inside the room most of the time. ayaw na kasi magswimming ni hubby kasi ang gusto talaga namin is magrelax lang. may jacuzzi din sa may pool pero di ko sure kung gumagana.

we enjoyed our time in the jacuzzi. nakakarelax talaga kasi maligamgam yung tubig, sarap magbabad. nung una akala namin sira yung heater, pero working naman pala. sayang nga lang di ako nakapagdala ng bath soak tsaka yung pang bubble bath para beauty soak na din.

the massage was also very relaxing. ang kasama sa package na kinuha namin is aromatherapy A (swedish). natanggal yung mga muscle pains ko, at antok na antok ako pagkatapos. bitin daw kay hubby kasi ang type naman na massage nun is yung parang binubugbog na. hehe. pero sana may sauna din sila para complete na.

the food was also good. lasang lutong bahay na masarap. at malalaki yung servings. reasonably priced din, 150-195 presyo ng majority of the dishes, tapos good for 2-3 persons na. pwede din ipahatid na lang sa room yung pagkain. wag na kayo kumain sa coffee shop nila kasi kumakapit yung amoy ng pagkain sa damit. medyo namahalan lang ako sa mga snacks at bottled/canned drinks. pero usually ganun naman talaga.

overall, we had a good time.  ok sya for couples na gusto ng R&R and bonding moments, especially yung rooms na may jacuzzi tapos spa. for families and groups, not sure kung ano pang ibang pwedeng gawin aside from swimming. yung recreation area ata nila per hour ang bayad.

less than 5k ginastos namin (3,915 for the gold package, then yung iba, lunch before checkin and after checkout, pamasahe,  snacks, drinks etc)

medyo malaki size ng plate nila kaya mukhang konti yung food.

rating ko: 3/5. kasi if not for the spa and indoor jacuzzi, wala ng ibang pwedeng gawin sa resort kundi swimming na lang.
