^hi sis!  i had my impromptu engagement celeb sa rockpoint last april lang.  mura nga dun and nice yung place.  konti lang nagsswimming kaya medyo private pa din.  haven't tried their massage service, but my h2b's cousin says it's great.  try mo din city of springs sis.  ok din dun and mura.

We had an overnight stay at the Coffee FarmHouse in Tagaytay. I posted my feedback of our stay there in the Coffee House thread.

We went to TCF last Jul26-27(8pm-5pm). We boarded the Batangas bound buses sa likod ng Chowking dun sa may Pasay Taft. Umalis yun bus ng terminal ng 5pm, tapos sakto 8pm kami dumating sa farm. (Ang trapik kasi). Madadaanaan din daw yun place nila ng mga FX/Bus bound to Nasugbu/Lemery. So baka yun mga FX na Lemery/Tagaytay pwede din sakyan.

You girls are right, super accomodating nila Sir Bert at Mam Bebet. Para lang kami nakibakasyon sa Uncle/Auntie ko. Parang family sila makipagusap at makipag-kwentuhan. Sinundo kami ni Sir Bert sa kanto tapat nun Splendido, then from that kanto, 5km pa yun farm. Gabi nun dumating kami, kaya parang nakakatakot yun lugar kasi probinsya-probinsya at ang dilim. hehe. Tahimik at kuliglig lang talaga madidinig mo.

Sa food, super sulit!!! Halos good for 3-4 na kasi yun isang meal, eh 2 lang kami ng hubby ko. Eto yun orders namin. All main meals, unlimited rice!!!
Dinner: Lechon Kawali + Chopsuey w/ quail eggs + watermelon for dessert. Panalo yun lechon kawali. Luvet! Di na nga namin naubos sa sobrang kabusugan namin.

Breakfast:Tinapa + Salted egg & tomato + garlic fried rice + pugon baked pandesal w/ butter + papaya/banana for dessert.
Nagutom siguro kami for breakfast kasi nag-badminton/biking/basketball kami ni hubby before 7:30am so naubos namin yun hinain na breakfast.

AM Snack: Buko Crumble Pie. We are still full from our breakfast so di na namin nakain. Inuwi ko na lang since naka-cupcake style naman sya. hehe

Lunch: Karekare + eggsalad + fresh mango for dessert. Di ko masyado nagustuhan yun version nila ng karekare. Maputla kasi at di gaano kalasa yun peanut. May sahog din kalabasa na unusual ko nakita karekare. Dinaan ko na lang sa bagoong.

PM Snack: Tacos. Panalo din! I was expecting na tig-isa taco shell lang kami ni hubby pero, naghain sila ng 5 taco shells at nakahain din yun ipapalaman na beef, tomato, cheese at green leafy veg. So ikaw yun may control kung ano ilalagay sa tacos mo.

Solo namin yun place kasi weekday. Maganda yun lugar at relaxing. Though for me ,galing din kasi ako province so di naman sya kakaiba sa akin. I just enjoyed the food a lot.

Marami din activity, like badminton, biking, basketball, table tennis, swimming, billiards. Yun nga lang, since 2 lang kami ni hubby, kapag pagod na sya, wala na ako kasama maglaro. LOL. Maganda yun place for team building activity.

Bring your own personal things pala, nasanay kasi ako sa hotels na provided yun  towels/soaps/etc...

Nakakatuwa din sila Sir Bert, kasi silang mag-asawa lang halos gumagawa dun. Si Sir Bert yun driver, nagbubukas ng gate, naglilinis ng pool, nagwawalis, naghahain ng food. Nagtatawag lang daw sila ng helper depende sa dami ng guests.

Bumili kami ng coffee product nila, P80 lang per pack.

Hinatid din kami ni Sir Bert pauwi dun sa kanto tapat ng Splendido, then nun nag-abang na lang kami bus pabalik ng Pasay/Cubao. Sa bus, pwede naman magsabi sa conductor na pahinto saglit sa Collettes sa Tagaytay rotonda para makabili kami ng buko pie.

@sis lelaina, thanks. may spa ba sa city of springs. tiningnan ko kasi website, wala naman nakalagay if they offer spa/massage. para ngang feel ko yung rockpoint kasi may room with jacuzzi. masarap ba yung food?

^ sis ava_garde, nakakagutom naman review mo sa the coffee farmhouse. but it looks like you really had a nice experience there.

@freelancer, maganda yung Lawiswis Kawayan Resort & Spa.  I saw a segment sa cable TV. maganda place very inviting. Malawak yung area and dami trees (fresh air) pang alis stress, relaxing. You can choose your pools. may hamok din & a pleasant outside bed (tabi ng kubo). Check out te website, google mo, they will give you a tour sa hi-tech ad nila just click the button. Dream ko din pumunta dun

my own pov, lawiswis is best for honeymooners and small family whon wants simple and peaceful bonding.

looks like my youngest will be weaned very soon. im so excited to get away ALONE.
i just dont want a long drive and worry about food. for once im welcoming set food my whole stay.
 btw im staying right now in central luzon and a kapamilya is overly willing go with me (meaning familia outing ang nasa isip ng mga loko) pero gusto ko ako lang mag-1 kahit di pa ako marunong magdrive e magtatake ako ng taxi, bus, plane etc makalayo lang sa lahat lahat.
anyone can suggest a good place for ME TIME?

how much is your budget sis? and gaano kalayo? maybe you can try batangas para south naman. or kung mas malayo pa, you can go to Palawan or Bohol, those are very quiet and relaxing places. lalo na this season, konti lang ang mga tao/tourists.

Went to Club Balai Isabel last weekend.  The place is okay, it has a nice view of the Taal Volcano.  Food is good too, though medyo konti ang serving.  They have nice and spacious rooms for an affordable price.  Pwede for barkada/family, plus pwede rin magluto.   We stayed at Orchard Lane. 

I just don't like their service, we were able to check-in 3PM na, we were there around 11AM, check-in time was supposed to be 2PM.  Pati check-out super tagal.  Siguro dahil medyo marami din tao that weekend.

i would recommend valentino. such a very nice place. tahimik and makakapagbonding talaga. i've been there for 3 days 2 nights and we only spent around 5k including food. wala pang tipid yun ah.
