Hi, mga sis! Just wanted to share my experience sa stay namin sa padi morong,bataan (padisamorong) last march. 2 nights and 2 days kami.  sobrang peaceful and restful ng place. there were few big and nice houses na katabi. yung katabing house is a private house also pero hindi siya for rent. solo talaga ang beach plus the pool is okay as well. para ka lang talagang nasa bahay mo. the food was great.kami ang gumawa ng menu list then sila na ang nagluto. meron pang free welcome merienda. sobrang bait din ng owner and yung mga staff nila. noong una, medyo naiilang kami kasi halos lalaki yung mga caretakers. pero super bait nila. sila pa ang ang nag-asikaso ng bonfire namin. yung videoke nila updated ang mga songs and ang ganda ng sound system. 2 pa yung mic. we occupied the 3 rooms sa taas and each room has two beds. sa baba may bigger room with queen size bed and pwede pang mgakagay ng sleeping mats kasi ang laki talaga ng area. they have a dining area pero meron ding set-up sa sala na pwede kumain especially if buffet.

ang kailangan lang siguro na dapat iimprove yung mga locking mechanisms ng mga doors especially sa cr and yung door ng every room going to the veranda. having said that, safe na safe din mga things namin kahit lahat kami nasa beach. sobrang enjoy ang stay namin sa padi.kahit hindi siya overwhelming with amenities and facilities na kagaya ng mga resorts, we were still able to enjoy each others company.

we're only 10. we paid 25k for the rental nung beach house and 1500 per pax sa food. day 1: dinner day 2: breakfast,am snack,lunch,pm snack,dinner day 3: breakfast, heavy merienda. yung menu namin, pingsama-samang favorite food naming lahat.kaya sobrang solved kami. i'll email you the photos if you like.

san ba mura magpunta na 5k lang gastos for two people? Huwag na Tagaytay hehe

I suggest balay indang just a few minutes from tagaytay. the place is great, tahimik and you can really commune with nature. nung [textspeak!] nagpunta kme dun kme lang [textspeak!] guest nila so solong solo nmin [textspeak!] place. may pool, u can play billiards, may public rm w/tv din(kc s rum where u'l stay wlang tv n aircon). I think 1900 per head overnyt stay with 3 meals n snacks, ang u get to stay in a hse (prng duplex). and [textspeak!] food masarap

Sis exit kayo sa Batangas Lucena exit. There is a direction sa website nila. Just follow it. You won't get lost. Travel time is almost 3 hours.

i am recommending kinabuhayan cafe if you want to experience zero-worry atmosphere. because the place is a far cry from city life

kinabuhayan cafe has a website so you check it out but i will describe my visit last week

kinabuhayan cafe (it's not a coffee shop hehe) is situated in a typical barangay, with no signage so lumagpas kami

as soon as you stepped in, you will feel like you are in another world. the "coffee shop" is full of antique-like decor, the table has fresh flowers or a small fountain and the walls are adorned by old decor

then at the other door leading to the "bakuran" is a place composed of kubo and trees and plants and stone and and nature talaga. you see green everywhere. very relaxing

then there are kubo, with no walls and there is a small attic where you will sleep and and dont worry, the native bubong makes a good cover when you sleep naman. and there's mosqutio net, but not the typical one, naiiba and matutuwa ka

in one kubo, there's duyan

the banyo is sobrang ganda, there are plants and stones and designed talaga for the women to feel like you are an enchantress or encantanda

in the evening, there are candles everywhere and i couldn't resist having my pictures taken

for dinner, there are fresh flowers, with candles, not just on the table but at the windows and the floor. grabe. sobrang romantic talaga. you will feel that it's your anniversary with your husband or boyfriend

lunch was in kubli spring. and the spring is private so feeling eva at adan kayo and ang sarap ng tubig, cold and clear. the table for lunch was situated sa spring so you eat while your feet tingled due to the running water of the spring

the food was superb as mentioned many times already. where can you eat tomato with an egg inside? or ulam with flowers sa ibabaw? and not just any flower but a "katuray"? and the katuray was designed pa ha! the food is sobrang dami ang serving. breakfast was served with a fish na 12 hours under the fire. and of course there's coffee na dito mo lang matitikman. according to jay, the owner, it's just coffee with pandan. but when you tasted it, it's better than starbucks. and there's lambanog. purong lambanog or lambanog with melon and others that jay can make

and there's the massage before you sleep. and it was very good

and the the sta lucia trek (be ready for the steps) and the kinabuhayan falls and the cave, be sure to bring a candle or flashlight

jay and his assistant are super accommodating. jay won't accept your goodbye handshake because he prefers a warm hug

and of course, there's onion, the pet pig who is toilet trained who will follow your every step and look at you asking you to scratch his belly. what a very friendly and spoiled pig. onion sleeps on the sofa and he is covered by a blanket.

both jay and ralph love to talk to guests so you feel like you are a family guest and not just a stranger on vacation

it was an awesome experience and i will definitely visit the place again

sis, i suggest montemar beach club in bagac, bataan and la luz beach resort in laiya, batangas.

re: kinabuhayan cafe

you have to pay for the three meals for 600 pesos each for the privilege of staying overnight for free so that's 1,800 pesos per person

then it's up to you na for the other services

massage is 300pesos per person

for our sta lucia trek, we paid the guide 300pesos only at dalawa na kami nun

for the kinabuhayan falls and the cave, we paid the guide 200pesos only and dalawa na rin kami nun

the travel was more than three hours because of the traffic in slex, by car

if walang traffic, i think less than 3 hours yun, by car

yes, pwedeng mag commute. by bus then by jeep papasok (sorry mga sis ha? di ko alam pag commute na)

we printed the instructions from the kinabuhayan website and we bought a map form national bookstore and madali lang hanapin ang place

btw, mga sis, dito ko lang din nalaman ang kinabuhayan cafe so thanks sa mga nagsuggest ng kinabuhayan cafe

dagdag ko lang pala sa experience ko sa kinabuhayan, while in kubli spring you can see birds. we saw nga a blue bird so bring your camera

then sa kubli spring, they have bamboos too na lumalabas na water and if you stand below it, para kang minamasahe but compared sa mga resorts the water is malamig

sa sta lucia trek naman, at the bottom after more than three hundred steps ay may spring and falls. ang ganda ganda talaga. pero nakakapagod nag steps. pero it's worth it.  bring a container, kasi in some falls, the water is supposed to be sacred and healing so you can give it to your sick friends or the oldies

si onion pala, the pet pig is vegetarian/frutarian

our total expenses is 4,700pesos and dalawa na kami nun

My favorite get-away in Tagaytay is the Coffee Farmhouse.  It's near Splendido and the setting is very similar to Balay Indang.  Tito Bert and his wife (owners) are always on hand to take care of their visitors.  There's so many activities to do like swimming, biking, playing basketball, pool and table tennis.  There are also a lot of nooks in case you just want to drift off or read a good book.

and it's not a room, it's a kubo. three kubos ang nandun

jay kasi accept only few guests because he said he doesnt want to cook for a lot of people. personalized service kasi sya. you will realize nga during your stay
na hindi profit-oriented si jay. meaning, he's not after the income. parang ngang hobby lang nya ang kinabuhayan cafe hehe he wants to cook na may kasamang art

if you love swimming and relaxation, i suggest you check out acuatico and palm beach in san juan batangas, we went there last week and we had a really great time, the beach and the infinity-edge pools are great...
