hi!  newbie here. 

we are scouting for houses and found a suitable one in remmanville (fr. dona soledad, turn at france.  near immaculate heart of mary college).  i've lived in pasig in the last 5 years so i'm not really familiar with this village.  can anyone tell me if this is a good place to live in?

is the area flood free?  (seller said the house has not been flooded. village guards confirmed this, although they mentioned some streets were flooded during ondoy)

what time do i leave if i need to be in makati by 9am?

what is a good time to go home?  (since i expect heavy traffic during rush hour)

any info will be greatly appreciated.  hope you can enlighten us.  thanks in advance.

from what I know.. remmanville is not a flood prone area.. and mataas sya compare sa betterliving and advised lang po sis.. if your shift begins @ 9 am, you need to leave early siguro 6-6:30 is okay na.. kasi matraffic talaga dun
kahit noon pa man na napasok ako hanggang grumaduate ako sa IHMC hehe... traffic dun ng 7 am onwards and sa rush hr naman 4 pm nag sstart most of the time traffic since 2 way lane lang sa better tapos andaming pang trike

^^^Agree super traffic sa Better.  Taga-Better Living kami and basta pumatak ng 6:30 AM traffic na ang Dona Soledad, yung main thoroughfare ng Better Living.  Dati naman hindi ganun kalala ang traffic sa Dona Soledad, mga 6 years ago bearable pa, pero naging shortcut-an na kasi ang Better Living ng mga taga-Laspinas at Cavite kaya aaaargh sobrang traffic na.  Pag nasa Pinas ako, tamad na tamad akong lumabas ng Better Living kasi mauubos talaga ang oras mo sa traffic palabas ng BL, buti na lang din  medyo complete na ang kelangan sa Better--madaming restaurants, may Starbucks, salons,  bakeshops and ang forever mall ng Dona Soledad, SM Bicutan haha!   Gusto ko pa rin ang atmosphere sa Better though, kasi parang sort of provincial pa rin and tahimik kaso lang nakakasira talaga ng mood ang traffic.   Pala sis, may super-active facebook group ang Better Living residents,  you can join dun sa group na yun, laging may update ng traffic, saka chismis, reklamo,  breaking news etc. about the neighborhood, also mga for sale na properties may pinopost din dun.

Totoo bang hanggang leeg kung magbaha dito? We are scouting a house near this area, sabi nung may-ari hindi naman daw ganun nung nag Ondoy lang. But I'd like to get your opinion on this location please.
