^^^ how i cleaned my new crib: removed it from the packaging, pinasingaw ko muna because it's wood para yung wood stain fumes mawala, wiped it with a soft cloth using my messy bessy surface cleaner para non toxic. And then air dry again. There! Hope that helps!

^i bought the Halo swaddles from Amazon. Actually all baby stuff I bought from the US coz its really cheap compared to prices here except for the crib and breast pump

Yup cheaper to buy sa US. But in our case di ko na kaya mag puyat. So i had to buy them sa mothercare rob mag. 1,500+ each. Also on the same level as mothercare walk straight you will see a booth selling imported baby stuff. Buy the lavander spray for anti mosquito, it helps your baby fall asleep faster. When the sales lady told me about its effect i had my doubts but bought one kasi hirap na kami sa puyat. When i tried it, surprisingly it works. 600 per bottle.

I am another fan of Halo sleepsacks/swaddles. When baby was smaller, we used the swaddles to tuck her arms. Nung nag-start roll-over, arms out na. Now that baby is about to turn 1, we use their sleepsack/wearable blanket.

^nakabili kami ng second hand na Graco Pack and Play for 1,300 lang. 1,500 ang price sa olx. pero nung chineckout namin sa bahay nung seller, tumawad ako. and pumayag. in good condition, kumpleto pa, including the diaper changer. nahilig kasi ako magtingin tingin sa olx ng baby stuff, nagkataon lang din kasi na malapit sa bahay namin yung house nung may-ari. my husband and I feel that we got a good deal on it. sa mga second hand/surplus shops kasi pinakamababang benta sa Graco Pack and Play ay 3,700. suplado din husband ko, pero when he saw the item na maayos pa talaga, pumayag siyang bilhin.

sa ibang items naman especially sa mga baby pillows and sheets, gusto ni hubby, brandnew items na siyempre.

^Ganito siya sis. Wala na nga lang yung mobile..navy blue siya. Pang boy ang kulay. Pero di naman issue sa amin ng husband ko kahit girl ang magiging baby namin. Although di pa talaga confirmed yun. Kasi uulitin pa next month yung U/S tapos mag undergo na rin ng CAS. Ang importante lang sa mine sturdy pa siya. Wala naman mga butas or anything.

Aside from the big amount na natipid, happy ako na makabawas ako sa mga contributor ng mga basura. Pag di na pwede sa baby, later pwedeng maging basura.

Di ko talaga gusto bumili ng mahal na crib. Marami kasi ako nabasa, ayaw naman ng baby magstay sa crib. so ending nakatambak ang crib.sayang ang pera.sayang din ang gamit.

Wow sis kainggit naman you got yourself a very good deal ha. Ako naman im eyeing [textspeak!] mga playpens sa lazada. Meron sila nasa price range ng 2500 to 3500 na magaganda and okay mga reviewsm might buy one from there na lang. Mas mura pa rin compared sa malls

^msals2007, nagchecheck din ako madalas sa lazada. pero try mo rin icheckout may mga suppliers/sellers ng brandnew baby gear like cribs, stollers etc. sa olx. meron din sa Facebook. brandnew naman balak ko bilhin travel system kasi eto gagamitin sa paglabas at pamamasyal so dapat matibay. tsaka para di naman masyado mukhang kawawa ang baby namin. if you want to search for some of the online sellers, i can suggest some. di lang ako makasuggest dito kasi baka admins might think i am advertising.

meron kasi akong nakitang travel system sa robinsons. 7,000 ang original price, sale daw for 5,800. meron ako nakita online seller na 4,800+100 transpo fee/meetup fee lang ang benta niya. same item, same model and brandnew din. wala lang sa mall. sabi naman ng seller pwede inspect muna kung may defects before paying. bale seller siya ng baby items pati mga clothes etc.

we have to be smarter about our spending right now. lilipat kasi kami sa new house namin so more expenses for the equity payment (20%), move in fees, bank charges ng bank loan, some appliances and furnitures. we don't intend naman to buy used items lahat ng gamit for my first baby. nagkataon lang din pagcheck ko ng olx, may nagpost ng item na nagustuhan namin both ang price at ang condition ng item. lalabhan pa namin para madisinfect bago pa ako manganak. di pa namin sinasabi sa parents namin, my mom and MIL. baka mapagalitan kasi kami dahil papagamitin namin ng luma ang una nilang apo. hehe.

pero decision naman namin to pareho ng husband ko. we intend to provide a good education for this baby in my tummy, e since medyo tight ang budget right now, tipid muna sa ibang bagay. malaki kasi cash out for the house's equity.. we were given a much higher loan amount pero di namin inavail kasi it will mean mas malaki ang utang. better sacrifice now habang maliit pa si baby.

my friend will be organizing my baby shower at our new house pag nakalipat na kami, pero siyempre di ko naman ineexpect regaluhan ako ng marami or big ticket items. i do not plan to have a registry either. ok lang anuman ibigay. i can sell naman through olx kung magdoble.

You're right. Di naman lahat kelangan new or branded items. Ako din before i was able to buy good deals sa olx like the big chicco slide for my older kids and yung rechargable ride-on car. Madali din naman kasi pagsawaan ng bata so okay [textspeak!] bumili ng second hand laking tipid. Tapos other new items okay lang na di branded basta safe naman and good quality.

Mga sis any reviews sa Baby 1st playpens? it's cheaper than Graco but not sure with the quality kasi. Graco kasi is tried and tested na ng ate ko from her oldest to youngest talaga nakagamit ng playpen.

san area ka sis. check mo baka may malapit na uratex warehouse/showroom sa iyo. Better na bumili dun pwede ka pa pacustomize ng measurement. You can buy online na din sa website nila. Though havent tried buying from them online kasi medyo accesible naman sa akin yung  isang showroom nila pinupuntahan ko na lang if may kelangan akong bilhin.

Mommy, try BabySM Shop. You can find them sa FB. Caloocan yung shop nila pero they do delivery. Sa kanila kami umorder ng crib package with Uratex mattress na pero alam ko nagbebenta rin sila ng foam lang. 24x40 din yung binili kong crib w/ foam so I'm sure meron sila for you.
