mabibili ba ng in-laws ko ng ganyang price Graco sa mga store sa US? iniisip ko kase magpapabili na lang kami ni hubby sa mom nya, then mag-uuwian kase early next year relatives nya, marami naman sila so hindi naman abala sa bigat kung idadagdag nila sa bagahe nila, alam ko allowed sila 50kgs per pax, wala naman sila masyado inuuwi dito Pinas, mas marami sila inuuwi from Pinas to US, hindi ba sobrang bulky ng box ng mga Graco Pack n Play?

naisip ko kase sobrang sulit kung papabili na lang kami, laking mura compare sa mabibili namin dito sa Pinas, dagdag info naman sisses...thanks!

Ano ba standard size ng crib? Parang iba iba ng size depende sa brand? Iniisip ko kasi kung mag papagawa ako ng wooden crib or bibili na lang ako sa SM.

Wooden crib - 28 in x 52 in standard yan. About 1-1.5 in spacing in between the slats for baby's safety.

^kami sis nagpatahi sa nagagawa ng sofa ng leatherette na cover ng mattress.pinapatungan namin ng banig then bedsheet para di mainit sa likod.

How much ba ang range ng wooden cribs sa malls dito?  Im 6 weeks preggy palang. Pupunta kasi kami ni hubby sa states sa feb so iniisip ko doon nalang bumili 4 na 50lbs naman ang luggage namin or have it shipped. Mas madami din kasing choices doon. Pero kung konti pang difference sa price eh di dito nalang.

vain_kixie We checked yesterday sa Baby Co and SM Department store. The really nice and sturdy looking ones are priced at PHP12,000 and above for just the crib. No mattress yet. Yung mga lesser known and not as nice there are at PHP8,000 and above with mattress.

I've also canvassed in the US online stores and wooden cribs retail for $200-400 depending on the brand. Plus taxes I'm sure.

Ask ko lang kung saan pwede makapag pagawa ng custom made na crib? Yung tipong kami ang magdedecide ng itsura, color and everything then low price lang siya?

What brand would you recommend? Chicco, Graco Pack and play or Mothercare?
Yung Graco kasi iniisip namin to ask my auntie to purchase sa US but galing kami kanina sa mall and I saw the same sa Graco pero Mothercare ang brand. Price is around P6-7.5k. Any reviews kung matibay kaya yung Mothercare na brand?

I already bought a wooden crib and thinking of buying a playpen but i want something bigger than the graco types. Gusto ko pang play talaga ni baby. Ano kayang okay na brand?

And ano bang okay na brand ng waterproof mattress cover?

Nakabili ako ng waterproof mattress fitted cover and sheet sa trinoma. Curity yung brand. Less than 400 lang. I just hope it works. I'll wet it with water later to test.


Okay ba yung jolly na playard? Pang nap lang ni baby since i have a wooden crib already. Nakita ko na siya sa mall actually and natigasan ako sa bottom layer niya. But so is the graco totbloc playard. Until ilang months ba nagagamit yung bassinet sa graco pack n play?

The wooded crib i bought from babies r us is also maganda.

I don't know about the Mothercare brand sis, but we got a Graco Pack and Play nung 2010 and we're very happy with it. Three babies used it na: my eldest, her cousin, and then my newborn is using it now. very durable, easy to transport and assemble, pwede sa infants and older babies because of the two levels, and very functional talaga for us pati yung removable changing table. We got a beige-colored one para versatile for baby boys and girls, linens lang ang papalitan. Plus, light-colored cribs and linens make it easier to spot dirt, stains, or insects.

I am planning to repaint our wooden crib, would you know kung safe ba to? According to my research, dapat daaw lead-free and no VOC plus water soluble. May nag repaint na ba ng cribs here? thanks!

i think you may have to ask your painter what type of paint could be used. kasi baka nga its safe for the baby pero hindi naman siya didikit/kakapit sa type of your wooden crib ma chip off lang eh di it will turn out more dangerous for your little one. From your painters reco, doon ka na maghanap ng lead- free etc.

To those who bought a mattress for your graco pack n play, ilang inches pinagawa niyo? Not sure how thick I can go.

I decided to buy narin a Graco pack n play for my baby boy. Got it on sale for $67usd plus tax.

Until what month can baby fit into a crib? All of my mommy friends have advised against buying a brand new/expensive one coz di naman daw magagamit ng matagal. I want to co-sleep din and am just thinking of using the crib during the day for naps.
