stroller tag sis,, may nakikita kasi ako sa mga mall yung stroller nung mga baby nila may nakalagay na "this stroller belongs to...." something like that

I prefer playpen than wooden crib. Sa first child ko, we also bought playpen kasi feeling ko hindi magagamit ng matagal ang wooden crib. Yung playpen pa niya, we can bring it pag nag long drive kami since kasya naman siya sa car.

For our 2nd baby, we bought Irdy at SM Baby Company. 4,200 lang siya. They have 3 colors, pink, blue and green/yellow. We got the blue one. Mas gusto kasi namin ni hubby yung ganung color para hindi madumihin.

For beddings/linens naman, we got one from Owen and Quilted Giraffe. Yung Owen, i think its 1500/set. I really like Owen kahit nung sa first child ko, sila may pinaka soft na material. Im not a fan lang of their pillows. Mabilis lumambot or ma-flat. For our 2nd set, we got one from Quilted Giraffe. They have nice pillows, hindi kasing soft ng Owen and material nila pero Ok parin naman, mas mahal pa nga siya, i dont know why. Got the set from Quilted Giraffe for 1800.

For those who want to check Rustan's beddings/linens, I suggest mag SM muna kayo kasi yung ibang nakita ko sa SM mga sis, nakita ko rin sa Rustan's, iba lang ang packaging at siyempre, iba rin ang price

if you have waterproof mattress protector, do you also put the waterproof sheet on top of your bedsheet?  if so, dapat fitted ba ito?

same as sexytabachung, i also prefer Owen and Quilted Giraffe. For both kids, we bought those 2 brands for their pillows and sets. My daughter is almost 5 na, and her Owen blanket is still buo and still very soft, although may konting himulmol na sa kakalaba. will most probably buy Owen again for the coming baby.

sa mga may playpens for newborns, what linens are needed? comforter, playpen sheets or bedsheets?  do you also use pillows and bolsters?  we got a free 2-inch mattress when we bought our playpen at the babyfair.

Playpen din binili namen for baby kase foldable sya, pwede nameng madala pag uuwi ng province saka madaling maitago pag hindi na need ni baby later on.  It's an apple green playpen from Baby 1st, unisex color para sa mga susunod pang kids. hehe

We also bought pillows and bolters and comforters, 2 sets. Saka 2 extra sets of pillow and bolster cases and 2 comforters narin. All from Baby Fair - Owen / Quilted Giraffe / Castle (di ko sure yung brand).

Meron ding boppy pillow. Extra blankets.

mga mommies, nagdala or magdadala ba kayo ng pillows and bolsters ni baby sa hospital sa delivery day? ang iniisip ko lang dalhin for her beddings eh comforter and blanket.

BABy Sale in SM Makati. Was there last night and its fun to shop for baby!

^ was there too yesterday lunch. bought mostly toiletries for baby and detergent and feeding bottle cleanser. didn't buy much clothes for baby. hehe

Sis, depende ata kung saan ka magdedeliver. Sa Manila Doctors Hospital kasi, i didnt bring any beddings nung nanganak ako sa 1st child ko. They provided everything. Yung clothes nga ni baby, kinuha na lang nila sakin nung lalabas na kami ng hospital. While you and baby are still in the hospital kasi, gamit ng hospital ang ipapagamit sa inyo. I think ok lang rin kasi nga baka mawala or magkapalit palit pa ng things kapag kinuha nila yung things ni baby from us. Ang naalala ko lang nun, they asked for set of clothes and receiving blanket on our lasy day of stay and ito na nga yung suot ni baby nung pauwi na kami.

anong size ng pillows at bolsters binili nyo? kung small, yung for newborn, dapat bibili ng next size pag malalakihan na.  hanggang kailan ba pwede magagamit ng baby ang smallest size na pillow?  ang problema ay kung may matching pillowcase at bolstercase ba na makikita by that time.

sis keeshta, when ka manganganak? first baby ba yan? naka schedule na ako tom, march 8 for repeat CS, my ob gyne is Dra. Sabrina Ang-Sy. Siya rin ang OB ko sa first daughter ko  Tonight, magpapa-admit na ako kasi tom na pala ang march 8. hehe. Excited na nga eh.

hi, mommies. just wanted to tell you about SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome). dalawa na ang kilala ko na naging victim ng SIDS ang babies nila, yung isa yung cousin ko at yung isa naman yung barkada ko. dati hindi ko din pinapansin yung mga warnings about SIDS pero simula nung nangyari yun sa mga taong malapit sakin, naisip ko talaga na pwede ito mangyari kahit kanino at mas sineryoso ko na siya.

kaya ko binring up yung topic ng SIDS kasi napansin ko na maraming mga mommies dito ang nagbabalak gumamit ng comforters and pillows para sa babies nila. gusto ko lang i-share yung nabasa ko na advice ng experts. dapat daw walang pillows, bolsters, comforters, stuffed toys, blankets, bumper pads, etc. na katabi si baby pag tulog hanggang mag 1 year old. isa ito sa mga paraan para maiwasan ang SIDS.

i know, cute talaga nung mga baby pillows and comforters and crib accessories pero hindi naman ata worth it kung makakasama kay baby, di ba? mahirap na.

Kelan kayo nag umpisa mamili ng baby items? August 21 due ko. May nagbebenta kasi ng 2nd hand baby items dito sa Bahrain, do you think ok lang kaya..or super sensitive ang baby? Iniisip ko bumili ng 2nd hand wooden crib tapos brand new mattress nalang ang mahal kasi ng cribs eh.

I started shopping nung 7 months na yung tiyan ko. Kahit sa first baby ko ganun rin. Sabi kasi ng mga matatanda sa family namin, wag daw bibili ng gamit hanggat wala pang 7 months ang tiyan. No choice ako but to follow them. Kaya kahit super dami ng sale nung thanksgiving and nasa US ako, ni isang bottle hindi ako makabili kasi Mommy ko, every hour nagre-remind sakin, wag kang bibili, 5 months pa lang tiyan mo! Sige ka, ikaw ang sisisihin namin pag may nangyaring masama sa baby


I am looking for another set of comforter and pillow sheets. Available pa ba ang CASTLE? Where can i get this? I already have Owen and Quilted Giraffe na kasi. Wanna get another set from different brand.

mommies looking for high-quality sheets, you can buy egyptian cotton sheets at s&r na 300 thread count or higher. they have an upcoming sale this march 28-april 1. yun nga lang, i don't think they sell crib sheets in particular but you can buy twin/single size sheets and have it adjusted or altered na lang. yun ang balak ko gawin kasi sobrang limited ng options sa baby stores e.
