?my hubby and i are looking for the traditional crib, we saw one in baby co in rockwell, does anyone here tried that? matibay ba? do you have any suggestion kung san may mura mabibili? thanks:)

We bought a graco contour electra pack n play nung 3 months pa lang si baby sa tummy ko. Yung comforters naman we chose yung bedtime baby from sm. Akala ko mura lang tapos nung nasa counter na ako nagulat ako kasi 1 set pala is 18++ eh I got 4 sets pa naman.

Has anyone gone to the Megamall Tradehall for the 3-day sale of Baby Company?  Were there lots of Graco cribs pack-&-play on sale?

Mga sis, for several days i've been surfing the Graco baby website.  Ang ganda ng website nila, very comprehensive and ang daming variations for ~P6.5k to P7k mga natitipuhan kong models.  So sad, sa US lang sila nagde-deliver.  Meron din namang ilang nasa Sulit.com na brand new or 2nd hand, pero ang super mahal (laki ng patong) and fixed na kung anong design/ model yung tinda nila.

Mga sis, may idea ba kayo magkano kaya magagastos kung sakaling sa Amazon ako mag-order ng Graco crib?  I have no idea magkano aabutin for the shipment and tax... 

Fyi din, ang gaganda rin ng Travel system nila (carseat+stroller).  May nagustuhan narin ako.  So sad lang coz i realized na yung kasamang carseat is for infant only (until like 22 lbs, and below 29" tall; how many months kaya eto?), so, the carseat can't be used for years, unlike the crib which can be used until 2 or 3yrs old kid.

^went to the event kahapon, super mura ng cribs/strollers nila.. mahal talaga pag may shipping at taxes pa, better buy sa mall nalang or sa baby fair til bukas, may stroller + carseat as low as 5k.. may mga cribs din na may diaper changer and bassinet at convertible to play pen as low as 2.1k... Yung 7k mo for sure may mabibili kang great deal na super type mo dun...

Sis, sa baby company event yung mga graco contour electra na almost 13k sa malls, nasa 8-9k sa event.

rustan's is on sale until feb6 ata, may mga graco cribs din on sale dun, i got my graco roll-a-bed nga for P6,700++ lang which was around 9k ata.

I was thinking of ordering from amazon din before, pero mahal parin lalabas. Even if u send it sa johnny air or ano, almost the same. baka 1-2k lang difference. Not unless u know someone from u.s na uuwe, bayaran mo nalang excess baggage nya sa plane.

Take advantage of the sales now hnggang mga 2nd week ng feb nalang lahat yan! Then sa july na ulit ang mga grand sales

Cherry143, i also considered getting my playard and stroller from amazon pero nung nagpa-quote ako sa pobox.ph ng shipping, they said mga $100-$120 each. yung mas-save ko sa price mapupunta sa shippibg tapos hindi ko pa inspect yung unit. I opted to buy na lang from here.

Share ko lang din ha. My sister has twins and she ordered most of her stuff from amazon - 2 cribs with changing tables, 2 infant carriers, 2 mama roos, 1 duo stroller pluz others pa. Her total shipping umabot ng $800. shipping pa lang yan ha.

In the end, up to you pa din naman if you really want to get from the US. Assess the practicality of it lang. Dont be like my sister kasi nagulat siya sa shipping charges nya.

yan nga din ang worry ko, about the shipping and tax (?).  Shipping either by balikbayan box (no idea of weight limit), handcarry (pay the excess baggage), or other courier...

i just realized diba mas matagal magagamit kung crib, kaysa sa playard?
Ang crib na na a adjust ang height pra pwedi fr newborn,  then pag todler na, pwedi tanggalin ang isang side rail. tapos may na fo fold din na crib para maging flat kung ililigpit pag di na kailangan.

Sa playard kc, kailangan buhatin ang todler para maka labas. Advantage ng playard, pweding portable pag pack n play, ska mga added features like sounds, vibrate, canopy, changer.

Mas ok nga ba ang crib in terms of mahabang magagamit? Pls share ur experience, feedback.

Saka sa playard, diba eventually kailangan na ring bilan ng matress???

sis in case you are referring to the GRACO Pack N Play, yun kasi gamit ko right now, haven't bough any mattress for it, still using the same mattress namen, just make sure it's always clean din.  It's convenient naman for travelling also mabilis din naman nakalakad yung baby ko in terms of using the Playard, at hindi ako nag woworry kung mahulog man siya kasi safe din naman siya. 

As for the Changer, Whimsical Instruments and added features, hindi na niya nagagamit din yun, kasi mag 1 year old na si baby, so nahihila na niya.  so I guess naging masulit naman siya for us.

My bf and I went out yesterday to look for a crib. I really want a wooden crib and not those Graco oness. Feeling ko kasi hindi sya stable and it's plastic, medyo mainit yun kasi it's gonna summer when I give birth.

I saw this wooden crib na may espresso colored yung finish. It's so classy, I love it! Kaya langi it's too big! I just want a small one. Do you guys know a crib maker or a place where I can purchase yung mga wooden cribs? If it's cheaper, the better! hehe

^tin, we used Pigeon laundry detergent nung una.. after consuming 1 box, we switched to Cycles.. 2 boxes naubos namin.. then Dreft naman.. when Kyle turned 2, gamit na namin ang ordinary detergent

Mga sis,  sis yapeegurl,
I asked my sister to buy me laundry detergent for my upcoming baby.  Ang meron lang sa baby section at Robinsons Galeria is Pigeon liquid detergent, which is ok naman since nabasa ko narin sya somewhere here in GT.
Ang mahal pla, P600+ ang 600mL.  And my problem now is that the labels, instructions of the Pigen Liquid detergent are all written in Nihonggo (Japanese)!  Since this will be our first time to use it, di ko alam ang mga instructions, precautions na nakalagay! 

I've tried surfing the internet, di ako makahanap ng instruction in English or kahit picture nya specially yung back portion nung plastic bottle.  Meron ba kayong alam kung san ako makahanap?  Or, baka meron naman sa inyong may Pigeon liquid detergent in English, hingi naman ako ng picture, please? 

Gusto ko narin kasi ipa-laundry na yung mga baby clothes na hand-downs.
