sis sinisterspark, playpen user din kami pero Latido ang brand.. nung nasa pinas kami we bought a temporary playpen. Looney Tunes ata yun. Around 3k sya.. mas maliit sya dun sa Latido.. other brands do not carry big/wide playpens.. and yung pinaka frame din check mo kung ano ang mas durable..

@ pumngold, i have a chicco lullaby and we use the bassinet for my 2-week old. No matress, just a comforter with the sides tucked. I plan to get a matress lang pag hindi na yung bassinet ang gamit namin.

@ sinisterspark, we chose a chicco lullaby because of the good reviews. It's the #1 rated playard in the US. We're happy with it naman so far. We make use of the changing pad and the music. Mahal nga lang, got it for 16k less 10% from chicco at festival mall.

thanks sis yapeegirl and sis clueless! Mahirap din kasi i-assess yung durability ng cheap brands kasi naka-taas ang display nya sa SM. Yung mga expensive brands lang ang madaling i-inspect.  Oh well. Talaga nga sigurong kailangan kong silipin yung mga top choice ko isa isa.  Hindi pa din ako decided kasi sa budget ko dito.

Grayce, baket what's wrong with kingkoil? parang okay naman to. meron din sila line for babies pala. alam ko lang mattress and beddings.

^asking around lang kung meron na naka try. naprapraning ako baka sa sobrang lambot ng pillow lumubog lang ulo ni bebe dun meron sila for babies, we're considering on getting one kasi 4 pillows ata yun for $29. nakita namin nung sale sa suntec

tapos ngayon at 2+ yo Ikea Gosa Karna. manipis din. pero firm.

hay oo nga naman ikea... di pa ako nagagawi ng ikea to check baby stuff. wala pa kasi kami budget ni hubby mahirap nang mapabili hopefully next month makapunta and bili na rin kami

you're welcome.. important din na yung frame ng playpen safe for crawling babies.. meron iba na hindi firm ang connection kaya meron tendency na pag napasok fingers ni baby maiipit..

we just bought looney tunes playpen 3 in 1 sa SM. less 10% so from 4700 naging 4230.

Ay ganun Ok lang naman. Siguro after holidays na lang kami bibili, baka may ibang sale or stocks sila Matagal pa naman!

meron ba sa inyo na nag-try bumili lang muna ng bassinet type na crib or yung traditional na rattan duyan? kasi we currently don't have enough space yet to have a crib in our studio-type home. if i remember correctly, the older moms just but sapin on the duyan, no mattress.

for space saving purposes, am considering buying the rattan duyan and put mattress. what do you all think? it will be after a few months pa before we transfer to a bigger place.

has anyone used the first years air flow sleep positioner? i've read kasi that pillows are not recommended for newborns. this is to avoid SID.  so as in crib/bassinet then mattress lang.

^sis yung son ko hindi nagpillow nung newborn sya.. mga 1yr old na sya nag pillow.. pero both pillow and mattress were bought from Safety 1st.. anti SID.. and both looks exactly like THIS.

^^ we have the first years sleep positioner. We use it when baby sleeps in the bassinet (ng playard) during the day and on our bed at night. Baby seems to like it naman kasi mahimbing tulog niya. And i like it din kasi nga she's flat on her back lang.

Meron din syang pillow na may bilog sa gitna for the head para hindi nagr-roll from side to side. Owen yung pillow..

meron na ba sa inyo naka-try ng cycles na liquid or powder detergent to wash the linens and baby clothes? ano mas prefer nyo - liquid or powder?  i've read in a thread na medyo mahirap daw banlawan ang cycles, is this true? 

also i found na may stain remover na rin ang cycles? meron na po ba nakagamit nito? hinahanap ko yung thread where someone used the oxiclean baby and wanted to ask her if she already tried the cycles stain remover - kung the same lang nung oxiclean but cant find that thread either..

^ we're using Cycles powder for 7months+ na. okay naman sya. mabango. havent tried the liquid form, feeling ko kasi mas tipid yung powder eh. meron din kame nung stain remover, powder din sya. i use it kapag medyo dirty white na yung lampin ni baby, binababad ko muna for 3-6hrs, then saka iwawashing machine. i dont know kung mahirap nga banlawan kasi salang lang sa WM then kukunin kapag tapos na. never naman kame nagkaproblem using cycles as baby's laundry detergent.

^^ cycles din gamit namin for baby's clothes. Nilabahan lahat ng things nya before i gave birth and hindi pa ubos yung 1 box ng powder eh halos 1 month na si baby. Mas matipid talaga yung powder kesa sa liquid.

Yung oxiclean, nasa cloth diapers thread, used to wash cloth diapers. I have stock of this too but havent used them yet.

^^^we used cycles powder din for our baby's clothes/sheets.. ok naman and we like the smell..
