the changing table comes with the change pad na din

for us, it was really useful. comfy for you and the child

Im thinking of DIY comforter for the baby. kaso wala ako mahanapan ng fiber fill yung nilalagay sa loob ng comforter sa malls. meron ba kayo idea where i can buy one? aside from divisoria tutuban etc.

check the ones from Daphne Osena Paez line. They have really nice beddings for girls. Really soft. I think it is available in Baby Co. I was able to buy for Sofia's toddler bed before in the SM North Annex

i think I might end up buying a new playpen for the new baby. my daughter's old one is no longer in good condition when my brother returned it. missing din yung bassinet. hay! akala ko wala na akong big purchases.

i'd take a pic of sofia's bed sheet kaso full of pentel pen marks. to my horror! sabi ni hubby ang arte ko daw. masyadong conscious with the thread count as if my daughter cares. from what i remember the fitted sheet was around Php 800

haps, yes the fitted sheet pa lang. di pa kasama pillow cases plus comforters

kime, the line is called Babies Direct. What i like about it, hindi "baby looking" yung designs.

nasa laundry pala yung bed sheet. but it's pale pink in color and around 400 TC. no designs. yung matching comforters yung may designs. you may check the Bedtime Baby line in SM. I was able to buy curtains valance (pink & brown with butterfly & flower design) from them. May matching linens pero they dont have it for toddler beds

Thanks to Sisses liyapot loveinmybelly for the heads up on Uratex.

I also opted to get a Uratex foam mattress (at the factory store in Marikina) for my upcoming baby's Graco Pack N Play.  The Graco mattress measures "37 x 26" but I asked for a "38x27" custom cut size because I wanted a snugger fit.  When we were trying the different foam mattresses at SM Baby Co, the salespeople were able to squish a 40" foam mattress into one of the Graco Pack N Play models so I figured that it would not hurt to add an extra inch on the sides.  My husband and I didn't buy the playard foam mattress at SM Baby Co. (Teflon/Tefon brand) because it was too thick, probably 4"-5", a rolling baby will most likely fall off the top of the bassinet and hit the floor.

At Uratex, you can choose different thicknesses and there's a choice of the following:
Uratex Foam (blue) - soft yet firm and durable
Permahard Foam (yellow) - medical foam, extra firm
Comfort Plus Foam (beige) firm and bouncy

I purchased the 2" Comfort Plus foam because the Permahard felt way too stiff and orthopedic.  You can also purchase a custom cover for your foam mattress.  The information lady recommended the pink checkered alphabet cover for my baby girl.  I spent P576 for my foam mattress and cover.  If I'm correct, I think the foam they were selling at SM Baby Co was around P1500+?

The downside is that I have to wait one week to pick up my mattress kasi custom order daw.  I only live 6 minutes away in Eastwood so it's not too bad of a drive to Uratex Marikina.

Hi everyone
Iniisip ko ring bumili ng playpen para sa baby namin instead of wooden crib.
Binasa ko yung buong thread (Part II) at mukhang most ng bumili ng playpen chose Graco or Chicco.  What made you buy Graco or Chicco instead of the other brands? (Looney Tunes, Disney, Good Baby etc.)  Mas ok ba talaga sya?  What factors made you go for them?
