^ yes agree. my daughter's cot + changing table were gifts from my Ex Aus boss.

For us sulit talaga sya. My daugther has been sleeping on a separate room from us so she really needed her own special and safe place.

Ngayon, she can't sleep elsewhere. Not even with us. Gusto lagi nasa cot. Even pag nagtatravel kami, sa mga hotels, we specially request for a cot na tulugan.

Mga mommies, a friend suggested na better daw for us to buy yung crib na convertible to toddler's bed para matagl niya magamit, nakakita kami sa SM Makati and Rustan's Makati, 16k ang price niya. Ito yung tatanggalin mo yung magkabilang railings ng bed pag mejo nmalaki na nag baby na meron ka ipapalit dun na mejo mababa. Made of wood sya, and according to the sales staff there, made in china daw.

Mas ok ba yung ganon or yung ala-little tykes na bed na agad? sulit naman ba yung 16k na crib convertible to toddler's bed?

^IMO lang ito sis ha.

Kapag nakakadapa na si baby at natuto na umikot-ikot habang tulog / gising, mas kampante ako na nasa crib-playpen siya, yung net ang paligid. Nung una pahiram na wooden crib ang gamit namin at nakikihiga ang siya minsan sa playpen siya ng cousin niya, one time nakatulog siya sa playpen at napansin ko na lagi siya tumatama sa net nung playpen. Kaya hindi na kami bumili ng convertible crib.

@Amphitrite: yun nga din worry ko sis eh kc baka tumama tama si baby sa wood pag convertible ang bibilhin namin. Kaso gusto din ni hubby para matagal nga daw magamit. If that's the case, dapat buy din kami ng crib-playpen, how much kaya yun ganyan? Kung di man sabay bilhin yung convertible crib and crib-playpen, siguro pag magalaw na si baby buy na kami ng playpen niya.

By the way mommies, ask na din ako about strollers. Which one is better kaya? Chicco or Graco? Yung Chicco worth 20k with car seat na din, yung sa Chicco 16k, only difference is sabi nung salesman, yung Chicco kasi puwede na pang new born, yung Graco naman mga 3 months above daw kasi yung pinaka higaan ng stroller (where you put the baby) mejo naka-reclined na ang style niya, unlike yung sa Chicco, nakahiga talaga si baby so i-aadjust mo nalang para ma-recline. Yung sa Graco, adjustable din naman pero initially naka reclined na talaga.

Sabi ng friend ko, kahit daw yung Graco nalang since for the 1st 2 months kahit di daw muna ilabas si baby, like yung pagpunta sa mall, etc. Kaso isip ko pano kung di maiiwasan na isama si baby, eh di maghihintay pa kami ng 3 months?

Sensya na po 1st time mom kaya ang dami kong tanong and worries.

hi sis there's a thread on strollers under childbirth and chilcare.  you may might to check out the discussions on strollers.  dati chicco and graco lang alam ko but there are a whole a lot of other brands para ma compare mo na rin:-)

hi ako din mga mommies im planning to buy a crib yung wooden or playpen na my net.. nag canvass ako yesterday sa trinoma yung playpen with net is 3k lang.. pinagiisipan ko pa kung bibilhin ko na ba or wag muna.. advice naman po mga mommies.. thanks

hi sis. what makes you to think twice na di mo muna buy? i think 3k playpen is a good deal. may parang bassinet naman syang kasama pra sa newborn?

mura na yung 3k playpen sis.. meron din mas mura pa dyan mga 2k more or less sa SM makati namin nabili pero maliit lang.. for babies 1yr below lang siguro pwede yun..

for us mas prefer ko ang crib-playpen compared sa wooden crib kahit meron bumpers kasi wala pa ako nakikitang wooden crib na mas malalim kesa dun sa current playpen ng son ko.. and other than the depth, wide na wide din ang playpen kaya paikot ikot sya dun and i think it will fit him until he's 2 or more.. Latido ang brand ng playpen.. you don't need bumpers and diaper organizer and changing mat.. it comes with the playpen..

Hi sis, complete na siya meron nang changing diaper, bassinet for new born.. sabi ng sales na nakausap ko magagamit ko daw siya till 3 y/o. tska my sarili siyang lagayan para in case daw na mgtravel madali lang siyang dalhin..

before my daughter was born we bought her a playpen din with changing table na removable, bassinet and diaper organizer on the side. may mobile toys pa kasama but after 1 week I asked my husband to return it na lang sa mall and instead get the avent iq24. then after few days, my aussie boss gave us a very nice cot + changing table they have shipped from australia. kaya pala pinabalik ko because the Lord has something for the baby. she uses til now.

@pinkpotato: sis, thank you po sa link ha..ang ganda nga! kaso di pa ako maka-decide kung wooden crib convertible to toddler's bed ba or yung crib-playpen nalang. Kunga ko masusunod, mas gusto ko talaga yung wooden crib kasi mas practical, tapos pag mejo malaki na si baby chaka na bumili ng playpen.

I'm currently 33 weeks pregnant, got my baby a wooden crib that can be converted into a toddler bed, Im so happy with my purchase got it for 6k from Baby and Co. it's exactly the same as this recent commercial na may baby and balloons. As for crib set (comforter, pillows, bolster, fitted sheet, bumpers) got it from Owen for 3,700 I find it a bit pricey so I'll be looking for a cheaper crib set soon.

prettyarcher, kung ano nasa puso mo sundin mo. kung ano sa tingin mo practical / useful at kung san you think your baby will be comfortable go for it. iba iba din kasi preference ng mga moms.

i know someone her daughter has 4 tulugan. 2 cot, 1 playpen and meron pa syang parang spaceship na mobile playpen. hehe. addict di ba? eventually binenta nya din ang iba. pero super nice lahat.

mademoiselle, post mo naman pic. yeah pricey nga kung 3700/set pero surely the quality naman is good. i opted kasi DAKKI stuff dati, kainis, sayang lang sa pera. nipis ng pads tapos small pa kasi malaki pala yung cot ng daughter ko.

Sis mademoiselle: Sis saan mall po ang baby and co.? Convertible din sya to toddler's bed. Ang mura compared dun sa SM na bimbo bello ang tatak, 16k kasi yun eh. Yung sa SM na worth 16K, may kasama na 2 extra railings para papalitan nalang yung original na nakakabit pag mejo malaki na si baby para ma-convert na sa toddler's bed. Ganun din ba yung nabili mo  sa baby and co.?  Sana meron pa niyan. Gusto ko makita =) Thanks in advance =)
