Skin Disease

My cousin is suffering from a skin disease. I really don't know the situation since I am abroad. I want to help her and have her check by a skin specialist.

Ang description ng sis ko, sa legs daw banda and meron na din sa arm portion pero konti lang. Yung sa legs, malaki ang sugat na basa-basa sya. I heard also na marami na silang napuntahan na doctor.

Sa derma ba dinadala ang ganung case?

If yes, approximately, if I will bring her sa sikat and reputable hospital like medical city/st.luke's/makati med, magkano ang gagastusin ko per check up?

Ano ang usual na procedure ang ginagawa sa ganung cases?

yes sa derma, siya na rin magrecommend kung anong best topical antibiotic ang bibilhin niyo.

if you want, i'll recommend you to try "proflavanol" food supplement.its made up of grape seep extract,50 times stronger than Vit E,20 times stronger than Vit C.i have a friend who has a psoriasis.that is also a skin disease which is untreatable until now. proflavanol helps him to minimize his redness on his skin. it also helps him to stop the itchiness, and dries up the wound that cause his disease. you can try that.

Ang weird naman maraming napuntahan na na doc but hindi na refer sa derma? I agree with the sis here na mukhang she has to go to a derma specifically a dermapathologist. She can decide the right course of action.
Checkup more or less is 500+ depending on the doctor and the hospital.

sis i had skin problems before, esp.  nung summer. nagkaka rashes ako on my own sweat. pero on top of that, i had nickel dermatitis na talaga. then i tried Cyleina soap's rice bran. Di na nag recur.

hi mga sis, i have skin problem i think its an an (but it's not itchy), i went to a derma and she said it's main cause is because i have homonal imbalance.. pwede pala yun.. ang dami ko na gamot apply pero parang wala naman changes.. nasa left side of my back hangga sa UA.. nakaka irita kasing nakikita.. if you can share a tips or if you have the same situation please help naman po.. thanks very much!

hi mga sis, i have skin problem too. they call it syringoma. i have consulted a dermatologist today, kaso [textspeak!] derma ko parang namemera lang. binebentahan ako ng kung ano anong products nya, though she said pede icauterize [textspeak!], mga 4 sessions, 2500 each session. or c02 laser 2 sessions around 6-10K daw per session tapos sabi nya may mga products daw nya na kelangan bilhin ko para ipahid. and that she doesnt recommend other products na pede mabili over the counter kasi [textspeak!] products daw nya subok nya. reasonable ba [textspeak!] price nya?

count me in. I have skin asthma or atopic dermatitis. Ang hirap nga kasi laging dry kahit nag momoisturize everyday. nakaka sad pa kasi mga tao sa paligid feeling may nakakahawang sakit lalo na if napapa touch sa skin eh not that smooth so titingin ng strange tapos ipupunas nila sa damit nila or pants after mahawakan yung skin. Heavy, ewan ko ba nakakadepress/stress eh lalo pa naman nag fflareup kapag stress. Three to four dermatologists na nag sasabi .. stress kaba? which is totoo naman. We cannot avoid stress always eh so laging may flareup. :/ stress-free life dapat.

yung pamangkin ko ng ka eczema dati, mga 4 years old pa lang siya siguro noon. hanggang siya nag 12 na siya. kung saan saang derma, doctor na siya dinala hindi talaga mawala wala. pabalik balik. hanggang sa pina inom siya ng mom niya ng carrot juice, araw araw 1/4 glass lang araw araw. after 1 month magaling na eczema niya hindi na ulit bumalik.

saken super bothered ako sa seborrheic dermatitis(dandruff!) ko sa sides ng nose. kaya palaging nagsusugat sugat pag nagfflakes.

wala rin gamot. mga steroid lang para ma control. stress daw ang cause. GRR!

tapos, mild soap lang daw, i bought from her clinic din. pero she said Dove Extra Sensitive will do.

may oral meds din, inumin ko every night for 7 days para di ako mangati.

walang bawal kainin

avoid scratchy clothes, perfume, scented soap/shampoo, avoid fabric conditioner and bleach...

i asked her kasi mukhang mag-i-scar, and she said.. "maglalighten yan, don't worry, akong bahala syo"
i'll go back next saturday
