Nagpapadala ako ng cnt lechon sa tita ko coz dadaan pa sya ng cebu before going to bohol. Excited na ko makakain ulit ng cnt! Woohoo!

@jaded1025, sis masarap din naman lechon in Bohol. When I'm in Bohol like now the lechon sold here ang binibili namin. Check BQ or Marcellas. Yun Lang madaling maubos kaya dapat maaga kayo. Naku may kainan sa Auntie ko mamyang gabi sigurado may lechon na naman handa yun.

CNT lechon is different pala talaga from all the other lechon.
I went to Cebu and Bohol late April kasi and i told my friends na di ako uuwi hanggang di ako makatikim ng famous CNT.

if you are looking for the usual tasteless lechon with sarsa (perhaps mang tomas? hehe) then you will be disappointed. CNT very malasa and lambot,plus the taba never seems to grease up (i feel nauseous sa ganung taba e) May mga herbs e, plus malasa siya (salty-ish, herby taste). May sarsa din pero toyo suka and sili lang. Sarap ng balat, nevermind muna the calories!

But for me parin, Charlie's pritchon padin the best

cebu's lechon

cnt and cebu ayer's ang natikman ko. pareho lang ng lasa para sa kin, ang difference yung sa balat, malambot yung sa cnt at makunat na sa ayer's pag hindi na crispy.

Basta lechon from Visayas di na kailangan ang sarsa dahil nakatimpla na sa meat and balat yung flavor. Days ang pag marinate nila sa oinky before it is finally roasted. You just need either vinegar or toyo with sili/onions/garlic na lang.

^sis, I'm trying to find out nga if open na their restaurant by the time we're there. I've tried Zubuchon before and I always make bilin with hubby to buy at their airport stall every time he has a flight there. I like their lechon. It's different from your standard Cebu lechon like C&T, Rico's, etc. It's filled with different herbs and spices and you can really taste them. Some of my friends don't like it naman kasi natatapangan sila sa flavor ng herbs. But some like me love it!

Next time you're in Cebu try it for yourself. By the way, they do deliver to Manila.

^Yup, either at Marcellas or BQ. But you have to be early kasi madaling maubos. Usually before lunch time ubos na. Parang di din sila nagrereplenish in the afternoon.

^Yup, there will be two locations. One along Mango Ave. near Fuente Osmena and another at Escario St. near the Capitol bldg. I just found out that they will be opening in June pa

Too bad! Well, another reason for me to go back then.

bago ko lang nalaman na lechon from manila needs a sauce to taste good. sarap na kasi ang timpla ng lechon from the visayas.

sa dinami-dami ng lechon shops in manila, mahirap ba talaga ma-copy ang lasa? or bakit di naisipan mag open ng branch in manila ang mga lechon shops from the visayas?

Yes Sabroso is located in E. Rodriguez near the corner of Tomas Morato.
