i tried sabroso lechon last sunday, and i must say na super ako na disappoint, after nabasa ko yung mga raves dito kala ko ok yung lechon nila, hay.. laman lang order ko since we can't consume the whole lechon, pero grabe yung balat nya, makunat na at ang pale pa, excited pa man din ako at tinikman ko agad pag dating ko sa house ng mom ko, ayun hindi malutong, so sobrang disappointed ko tinawagan ko agad sila, ang sagot sa akin, ma'm pasenya na kasi maliit daw yung baboy kaya daw ganun yung balat, tama ba yun??? oh well... sayang 1st choice ko talaga is elar's kaso fully booked na sila so di na tanggap ng order na per kilo. lesson learned hindi na ulit ako mag order sa sabroso. tsk tsk...

The best for me is Cebuana Native Lechon, super yummy talaga, will not disappoint.

Hit or miss kasi si Sabroso eh, dati okay siya, now hindi na.

Just picked up our lechon at the domestic airport. Sarap! Crispy pa rin yung balat. Iba talaga lechon from Cebu.

Where to order cebu lechon and magkano range?

Sabroso kasi is not good pag peak season like nung last year new year.pero on a ordinary day ok naman siya..

Rico's and cary's sis yung masarap from cebu. Sa rico's pwede ka deposit payment tapos fax mo sa kanila yung dep slip. 3 days ang lead time sa pagkaka-alam ko d ko lang alam ngayong xmas/new year. Airport to airport ito sis so may bayad din ang freight.

i placed an order sa sabroso for our noche buena. pick-up time was 6-7 kasi they told me na until 7 lang sila. got there at 6:45. tumawag pa nga ako sa kanila telling that i was on my way na mejo traffic lang. whn i got there sympre i was expecting na nandun na yung lechon but sabi wait lang daw kasi wala pa. naka hazard lang ako kasi nga i was thinking na pick-up lang siya. ended up waiting for almost 30 mins. while i was waiting may gurl na dumating. calm naman siya. she is returning the uneaten portion of the lechon that she ordered just that morning. mapanghe daw. 15 kilos yung lechon niya and she was carrying i think around 3 kilos pa. yung mga cashier dun sabi ma'am nasan na yung iba sabi nung gurl natapon nga kasi di naubos ng mga visitors niya kasi daw ganun nga yung lasa. they called the owner sabi nung guy na may hawak ata ng mga orders ma'am lalaki daw kasi yung nabigay sa inyo. so the gurl asked bakit ninyo ako binigyan ng lalake? nakakhiya naman sa mga visitors ko. first time daw niya nag order. well ang ending is papalitan na lang the whole lechon. as for my order mejo i was inis and inip kasi nga ang tagal eh. it was my first time to order from them kasi i was enticed by the good reviews dito sa GT but disappointed din ako. ang tagal dumating ng lechon and the sarsa OMG para lang gravy ng mga fast food chain. mas masarap pa si mang tomas. as in wala siya lasa and the worst part is syempre when you order you expect na sila magdadala ng lechon sa car mo. one of their guys siya ang taga dala but while he is carrying the lechon he keeps on telling ma'am kayo na bahala sa akin. ang sarap naman ng pagkain nyo. ma'am kayo na bahala sa akin ha. mga 5 x nya ulit and then talaga aantayin ka niya magbigay sa kanya. di nya close yung sa compartment or door until you gave him something. very unprofessional to think parang pang number 87 na ata ako so gano na kadami yung nahingan niya. no more sabroso for me.balik elars na lang ako ulit. sorry kind of long.

i highly recommend Big Alex Lechon Belly Roll... its boneless na, malambot sya and masarap timpla. they put it in a long box, like a cake roll.

just search it sa net, you'll surely find a blog about it. the whole roll is about 4kg, at Php1800.

pick-up nga lang sya... at the corner of aurora blvd and dona hemady -- the place actually looks like a carinderia. the lady who, i think, owns the business is very nice and madali kausap.

sayang naman ang sabroso pinabayaan nila ang quality at service nila....2x na kami nagorder sa kanila ok naman pero last year pa yun for christmas and new  year....

this year sa wallen's ako kukuha ng lechon namin for new year...sana ok...

Cebu lechon pa rin kami. Any lechon basta from Cebu still never fails us. Hubby ordered 4K worth na lechon to be picked up at the airport on the 31st for our family reunion.
