Lunch (for officemates/friends, godparents na officemates)
Igado - c/o MIL
Pinakbet (Ilocos style) - c/o MIL
Inihaw na Bangus from our suking Bangusan at Roces Ave.
Bacon-Wrapped Crabsticks
Lettuce, Pineapple, and Quail Egg Salad

Dinner (for family)
Pancit Canton/Bihon (c/o MIL)
Pinakbet (Ilocos style) - c/o MIL
Igado - c/o MIL
Steamed bangus in banana leaves (c/o MIL)

Crispy Pata (bought from my officemate na may business. uber sarap!)
Hotdog w/ Mallows on stick (konti lang)
Spaghetti (half kilo lang)

Chocolate Butter Cake with Marshmallow Fondant Icing(lovingly baked by me!)

I was blessed that my MIL is a good cook kaya marami kaming masarap na handa. My son invited 3 kid guests and only 1 arrived kaya walang masyadong food for the kids. Yung adults ang nag-enjoy. :)

Hi mga sis. Just want to get idea on how many nga ba servings do i need to prepare for a home party na me approximately 30 guest?

eto yun plan namin lutuin:
-pancit bihon: 2 kilos
-chicken cordon bleu: 3 kilos of breast chicken or 4 kilos dapat? Last new yr kasi 2 kilos of chicken lang yun niluto namin for 8 persons sobrang sobra pa inabot pa kinabukasan yun ulam.
-lumpiang shanghai: typical size then cut sa half pagkaluto. 1 kilo giniling lang.

order ng additional ulam:
-rellenong bangus: sabi kasi  (each piece is 1/2 kilo, makes 7 slices) - minimum of 4 pcs. do i need to order 5 pcs? or kasya na yun 28 slices?
-Beef Caldereta (good for 10-12) - minimum of 2 kilos daw need order. kasya na ba 2 kilos lang order ko?

kasi i am not sure na dapat ba if 30 pax ang guest 30 servings on all menu dapat order? parang hindi ata..

thanks..

Ako naman mga sis home kiddie party for my daughter's 2nd birthday. January 1 ang birthday ng baby ko so yung mga tao medyo busog pa yun from new years eve handa wag lang sanang tipsy pa.

mga kapitbahay din lang karamihan ng guest namin plus kamag anak. my problem is I'm not sure how many ang pupunta kasi nga New Year baka mga puyat pa or what. Kaya ang plano ko is have some back up dishes incase kulangin.

My Menu. For the kiddie party, buffet table to sa garage naman. 15 to 20 kids, 10 adults

-Spaghetti and meat sauce. (I make the sauce good for 3 kilos pero 2 kilos muna ng noodles ang lulutuin ko, kung kulang saka ko lutuin more of the pasta, if kasya naman, the sauce can be freezed for next days merienda.)

-Fried chicken 5 whole chicken ( 4 chickens on the kiddie party buffet table. 1 chicken serve inside sa dining table)

-Hotdog and mallows on stick 1 kilo ( that's about 40 sticks)

-Lumpiang shanghai 1 kilo

-French Fries

-Cheese flavored popcorn

-Ice cream

-Juice

-cake

Ang food naman sa dining table, for about 20 adults (relatives and bffs) plus open din naman if some of the adults counted in the kiddie party buffet (kahit hindi close, charing!) na naglakas loob pumasok sa dining eh kumain. hehe.

-Kare-kare (plan ni hubby to cook a big batch of this, kasi daw 2 pata ng baboy, 1 kilo ox tripe, 1 kilo intestines ng baka, plus 1 kilo balat ng baka. High Blood Galore, gusto daw nya i-slow cook sa gatong)

-Igado, my specialty 2 kilos pork and 1 kilo liver (plus 5 kilos patatas, joke!)

-Chili Cheese Sticks or dynamites 1 kilo

-california maki (pwede naman iprepare a day before tapos cut ko na lang bago i serve.)

-fresh sliced fruits siguro pan tangal ng umay.

plus 1 kilo sisig for pulutan ng mga dabarkads ni hub

-soda

merienda time lang ang plan ko for my son's party. so i was thinking same food na lang for kids and adults. spag, hotdog with mallows, lumpiang shanghai, fried chicken, then cake and ice cream. pag isipan ko pa yung choco fountain if i have the budget. konti lang naman bisita, mga neighbors and friends lang, so about 15 kids and 15 adults. okay na ba yung handa ko na yun?

sorry sis marose now ko lang nakita ang question mo... now na magbbirthday naman ang baby  girl ko.
We bought a mongolian grill way back... parang yung mga ginagamit sa hotdog stands, flat surface na may gasul na inaattach. matrabaho lang kasi kailangan yung cook andun all the time, halo ng halo.
dati, individually pa, parang sa restaurants... pero nakakapagod talaga, nakakaawa mga maids... and hindi sabay sabya nakakakain ang lahat kasi you have to wait for your bowl pa.
During our last party, isang lutuan na lang, isang timpla lang ang mongolian babecue -- everybody happy naman!

For my daughter's merienda party with her playmates at the end of this month, I'll serve the following:

Chicken fingers (1k)
Spaghetti (2kls)
Pizza (1 36" giant pizza)
Cupcakes (3 dozens)
Juice

Do you think this is enough? There will be 20kids (ages 1-9, more than half of these are below 5yo) and yayas. Based on the kids' ages they won't be eating too much.

how many yayas would there be sis? i would estimate 2-3 chicken fingers for the adults.. not sure if 1kl is enough though.
