natry na namin lahat ng pwede from birth onwards specifically duyan, yakap and tangan she. nakapagmall na nga kami as in yan lang ang gamit ko, I did not have to use the stroller at all and nakapag-mass na gamit gamit ko rin yan. super sulit talaga. nakaka conscious lang kasi madaming tumitingin.  kahit nga sa bahay gamit gamit ko din. I am thinking of getting another one para pag nasa laundry tapos aalis kami meron pa kong isang pwedeng magamit. though limited lang ang stocks sa babyland eastwood mall.. puro size 2 walang size 1. nag-iisang size 1 nalang ata yung nakuha ko.

Are your toddlers more comfortable in a sling or pouch? Still can't decide eh. Thanks!

both are comfortable naman for the kids. but for the mom, i preferred the pouch when my daughter started being malikot. sa pouch kasi, you wear it, then put kid in especially when they start squirming- as simple as that. sa ring sling, you have to adjust it pa to make sure that it's not too tight nor too loose na baka malaglag si baby. and pag pouch, you measure yourself - not the baby - when it come to choosing sizes para siguradong sakto sayo and secured yun bata.

pero nun baby pa yun daughter ko, love ko naman nun ang ring sling especially when we have to breastfeed while we're out. we can use kasi the tail as a cover.

i have the r9 ring sling and love it. i can't go anywhere without it.  just read about the SaYa carrier.. will check it out at babyland.  so the cotton one, SSK is better for our climate?

I have na the saya and ring sling, pinapakiramdaman ko pa yung saya ko, though nagegets ko na siya, kaso feeling ko ang laki ni baby baka hindi magkasya eh :p

bought the saya (versatek) for me and my baby who is 2months old and we both love it.  thankful ako sa thread na to because I was torn between a sling and a pouch and I did not know what to buy. This thread helped me decide what's best for me and my baby. Hehe! Thanks sa lahat ng nagbigay ng feedback. My sister who is giving birth this month also plans to buy a saya just like mine kasi she saw how comfy my baby is whenever we use it. 

sis, hindi ba mainit yung saya carrier? pawisin kasi yung ulo ng first baby ko, now that im preggy with 2nd baby, naiisip ko baka maging pawisin din sya and might not feel comfy sa saya carrier. ?

hmmm. hindi kasi kami parehos na pawisin ng baby ko.  Now nga (at 3 months), pag ilalabas ko [textspeak!] carrier naka smile na sya. Minsan nga pag umiiyak siya ilalabas ko lang yung carrier, mag stop sya sa pag iyak tapos aantayin nalang nya na ilalagay ko sya sa loob. So sa amin it doesn't matter if we are in an airconditioned room or not. Basta she really likes it.  I like it too kasi wala pang 5 minutes, tulog agad sya.  Now, I just do not know if the scenario will change if pawisin sya or ako, especially pag pareho. Siguro better nalang if you buy after you have given birth para you can check if pawisin or hindi yung 2nd baby mo. Alam ko they recommend it that way para matry mo with the baby before buying it.

my daughter was and still is pawisin but we never had problems using the sling. meron naman mga slings that has breathable cloth.

I have the Mamaway sling pero up til now di ko pa nagagamit. Nahirapan ako i-setup. Either that or ayaw ni baby sa sling. For some reason di ko siya malagay ng maayos. Parang nags-slip yun head niya. Malamang di ko kasi ma-setup ng maayos. Hehe! Ang haba kasi, i'm small pa naman.

I want the pouch....mas madali gamitin and you will use it all through out , provided you don't gain so much weight.Try the PUPSIK STUDIO slings....

any recommendations for an online store selling baby sling? puro pouch type kasi nakikita ko sa multiply cute ng designs ng r9 kaso puro sold out na yung nakikita ko

i love my ring sling but i'm so in love with the baby pouch! gamit na gamit lalo na everytime we go to singapore to visit my hubby! naka stroller si baby dahil puro lakad but when he's fussy na & gusto na magpakarga just put him inside the pouch & voila! he's calm na! i so love babywearing

which do you prefer? Mga carriers (baby bjorn, chicco) or slings / pouches?  What are the advantages ba of each?

I prefer carrier, particularly saya carrier. I like it because there are no rings, buttons or snaps. It is very easy to use. My baby likes it too. :-)

i meant yung mga carrier like chicco, yung maraming snaps.  we never used a carrier kasi with our firstborn.  now for our second, we plan to get one sana.  but still thinking whether to get the chicco type of carrier (maraming snaps) or the slings / pouch type of carriers.

Be careful, sis, with slings especially pag newborn pa lang. Dapat pag aralan muna yung proper ways on how to carry a baby using it. May news sa US before na a baby died of suffocation while being carried in the sling. Masyado yata nakabend yung neck nung baby kase.

ano pa kaya other way to determine correct size for SaYa? I am a US size 10-12 so Medium ako sa SemiStretch Knit pero still having a hard time icarry si baby. Ganito ba talaga ka-fit?
