Baby carriers/slings/pouches

Please help me decide

I recently bought a indigo manila pouch (blissfulbabes), and within 3 weeks of baby wearing (around 3 hours/day) it broke and muntik na malaglag
ang baby ko buti na lang I still support my baby sans the carrier.

I love babywearing but need something more durable. I cant decide between the Saya Cotton Blend, Saya VersatekBlend, or the Next9
Sling or if you can suggest other brands please do so.

My baby is 2 months na

I used the Saya since baby is 1 month old.  Much stable for baby, she can sleep on it.  I got the cotton belnd in brown para hindi mainit yung fabric.  also, the plain color, like my brown, would not clash with my attire.

^parang ang laki ng size difference nyo.  as long as youre both slim.  were sharing the size 2.  better go to babyland to fit it together.

I ordered na the SSK Saya, I also texted indigo baby about my pouch issue and they responded that they would replace it with a premium pouch

Im loving my Saya but my grandparents do not, they are calling me "tang-a" for using a sling/carrier for my baby

They told me I should learn how to carry my baby without a sling, and that the sling is just for my own comfort and baby is not comfy in his sling.

sis cutiepie_honeypie, maraming tumaas talaga ang kilay sa sling/pouch. yung iba nga sabi parang tribo pa...

in my case, i'm only 5'1, and hubby is 5'10. i got a babasling as a gift by my parents. it was ordered online. sinubukan ko na din ito gamitin with my eldest who's 3yrs at that time. maximum weight nito is 15lbs, and he was 15-17lbs at that time. pina suot ko din kay yaya noon, and she said gumaang and mas madali nga dalhin yung eldest ko. pero minsan lang to.

until now, i'm still using the babasling sa baby ko who's 1.1yro na.

^^ check the manual ng saya.  but i guess until baby wants to be worn.  my baby likes being worn.  we get stares and smiles, and even comments, from people when we're wearing it.    ang daming curious kasi its not the common kind.  kami, never leave the house w/o it.

i really like it, super helpful, i got my 2 hands back, haha! i can do light chores na and bring baby with us if stroller is not possible. i will definitely pack it on our vacation to Bohol this August

^ yehey, youre a Saya lover na din sis!  We dont use stroller for baby.  Once you get the hang of using the Saya, you want to use it everywhere to bring baby.  Sometimes my hubby sling her.  Its just a matter of practicing how to use it.  The back X should be always flat, sabi ni Buding.

I can do the grocery with her on the Saya.  One time I even peed at the mall with her in.  Make sure lang that the feet is looped on the sides to be sure na hindi lulusot si baby.    Enjoy!

Youll find it useful for traveling, but if the weather is too hot or humid, chances are, you guys will sweat dun sa area where youre attached.  ganun naman kahit anong carrier.

ay! ako din! haha.. I go to the CR with my baby sa sling.
Siguro try ako ibang "carry" sa kanya, he's fussy with the cradle position na eh although dati happy sya.

Love my saya kasi dali gamitin unlike ring slings or wraps. Pero pawisin ang baby ko, sana magkaron sila ng parang mas suitable sa climate natin.

^ what did you get sis?  i have the cotton. parang mas mainit yung versateck.  I think yung tela ang trick dun kaya it holds kahit walang adjustement.  di pwde yung mga tela na parang sa ordinary sling/pouch.

I got the cotton too coz sobrang pawisin ng baby ko.
Will use the sling again later, at home, without the in-laws. I thought, I can use naman the sling kahit sigawan sigawan nila ko. Yun nga lang stress.

Meron ba dito nung mesh-type?

by the way sis, did they really thought using a sling is "t****" and they used that word??? its ok for you, if they say that?  pm me na lang if ot.

syempre its not ok, kasi ako pa din parent ng baby.. sabi nila mas nakakaalam sila kasi madami na silang naalagaan, 5 children and 8 grandchildren

nagpapa-uto daw ako sa mga nagtitinda ng sling.
