Baby carriers/slings/pouches

^yan nga din ang sabi ni hubby. I ask him to buy me a baby pouch in SG good thing he bought me a ring sling instead. At least daw yon adjustable.

ang ayoko lang sa ring sling ay parang sagabal yung extra fabric na nakalawit. mabuti sana kung malaking tao ako kaso maliit lang naman ako. tapos parang ang hirap pang itali-tali. dun kasi sa singapore madami akong nakita na naka-ring sling. tapos yung pagkakatali nila ay parang complicated.

^ same here. Di ko gusto yung extra fabric na nakalawit sa ring sling. I want to try yung Saya. I went to Babyland Galleria and saw one there. The saleslady was kind enough to show me how to put on yung one type of carry na pwede sa Saya. Medyo complicated nga. But I guess pag sanay na mabilis na lang.

Yup that's what I don't want also with the ring sling, maliit din kasi ako, pero when I watch the instructional video on how to wear it, ok na  Whenever I use the sling, I hide the tail end. May art lang ng pagtatali or pagha-hide nun extra fabric hehe.  Actually mukha lang sya complicated tignan pero madali sya gamitin. Multi-functional pa kasi pang-swaddle ni baby pag mejo malamig or pantakip ko while breastfeeding.

^LOL sis basta make sure lang your baby is with you when you buy a sling or a pouch. And buy something you're comfortable using and the quality of the product. Share ka what you'll be getting ha  happy babywearing!

pumunta kami ng baguio for our christmas celebration. naki hitch sa parents ko para tipid. hehe... anyway, dala dala ko yung sling ko, since alam ko na mag lalakad lakad kami sa park area and sa sm... napagaan talaga pag buhat ko kay baby, plus parating maayos tulog ni baby with the sling. yun nga lang, i really have to use it more often para masanay kaming dalawa.
i saw moms in baguio use "sarong" tied into sling for their babies. ang galing and very confident...

i have both the ring sling and the pouch. when my daughter was younger, i preferred the ring sling coz parang mas secured sya in it. but when she got older and more malikot, mas gusto ko na yun pouch coz it's easier to use. you simply wear it then put baby in it - tapos. no more tugging, etc.  i still use mine now that she's almost 2 years old when we're bf'ing in public. it helps in covering up as well.

I was contemplating before about sling or pouch.   I dont like the extra fabric ng sling (sayang outfits, hehe).  then i come across Saya carrier at an online store.  My sister got one for me in Babyland instead.Saya carrier is 2 pouches intertwined - one as the lead sling, other is the support. Its made of stretch fabric kaya pwede from til older babies.   Pwedeng different positions for baby.  Super comfy gamitin, though takes a lot of getting used to at first when putting it on.  Good thing, same size kami ni hubby, kaya minsan he baby wears our baby.  We get lots of stares and smiles from people in malls, and churches when they see us in the Saya, especially when baby is on a front facing position.  Masaya kami sa Saya

^ yes all babyland has it. malapit ka din in eastwood, im sure.  you cant find anything like that in sta, lucia.  im from the area also. just saw some stocks there last saturday.  try calling, accomodating ang mga staff nila.  i tried to inquire about the pouches and Saya carrier in indigo also, but they didnt reply.  Good thing I saw it in Babyland, they would let you fit it pa. My sister got it for me as a gift, and maluwag yung large samin  ni hubby, they changed the size.  pwede mo pa pe reserve.  They also have other ring slings.

gamit na gamit din sa akin ang pouch kahit sa bahay lang kami we use it constantly kasi c baby sanay sa buhat hehe
