the sling has a steeper learning curve than the pouch but is more versatile, is what i've heard.
I don't have the pouch and I've only used the sling so I can't say I have personal experience with both.

i also have the sling. mas okay to if you're planning on breastfeeding your baby.

i used both...

yung sling maganda siya kasi adjustable, tapos you get a cover (yung unused part nung sling - tail ba tawag dito?) pag nag bf ka...

yung pouch, easier to use kasi isho shoot mo na lang si baby dito... i use this still kahit 3 years old na toddler ko.  pero since hindi sya adjustable, pag nag gain siya or ikaw ng weight baka kailanganin mo bumili ng bago.

we have both but i prefer the baby pouch coz it's easier to use and i don't worry na magslip yung ring, though it's guaranteed naman no to slip, i'm just paranoid....hahaha.  btw we have a pic in indigomanila, me and my baby Reon.

i bought pouch sa indigo baby, size small...tried using it w/my newborn baby..bat ganun para ang laki nya, at natatakpan si baby. i watch sa youtube kung pano isuot ang ganda ng porma ng pouch nila sa newborn yung sakin natatakpan face ni baby

i bought the pouch.  easier to use.  i seldom use it though.  my son is malikot and observant when he's awake.  always wants to see the "outside" world.  so ang position ng karga ko sa kanya is nakaharap sa paligid nya. so i just use it if he's asleep and i have to carry him, like if we are in the mall or attending mass.

can you recommend a brand of ring sling mga sis? ang dami ko kasi nakikita sa net, im not sure which is the best sling. thanks

share ko lang... i bought a sling via online (babasling). it's a little bit expensive compared to the ring sling.

reason of buying babasling than the ring sling - - i see it more durable and comfy. may pads kasi sya. and instead of ring, 2 buckles ang gamit nito as lock. also, may pad yung sides ng sling.

versatile - yes. pero you need time to practice sa mga different ways on using it. and pag aralan yung pag adjust. pero madali lang naman.

it's 100% cotton. and madali linisin(labhan).

bihira ko gamitin ito for the past 3months.
madalas dito lang sa house, for practice lang and kapag may gagawing iba.

pero just this morning pumunta kami sa comelec for our sched in biometric.

it was the first time we used it.
and i tell u, it's worth every penny! my baby slept for hours! imagine, we were there before 8, and sumuko ako sa pila by lunch time. naka 3 different positions kami ni baby.yung naka harap, naka talikod and yung naka higa.

i bought a pouch din sa indigo manila, i found it very useful, even now na 1 year and 7 months na ang anak ko still using it.

finally i decided to buy the Saya sling from indigo manila. i really need to practice kasi i dont know how to put my baby inside the sling hehe. i cannot understand the directions hahaha

^ sis, para mas relax ka.. try mo muna sa doll and harap ka sa salamin... eto yung naka tulong sakin sa sling ko. for sure kahit magkaiba sling natin, this tip will help...

i'm also planning to buy a ring sling kaso hindi ko alam kung alin ba ang efficient gamitin. baby ko kasi gusto lagi nakadikit sa tao eh sometimes nauubos oras ko sa bahay sa pagkarga lang sa kanya. i need more feedbacks on what ring sling is good.

i bought a baby pouch carrier when i was in singapore. it's from pupsik studio. medyo stretchy yung fabric. yun nga lang maling size ang nakuha ko. kasi when i wear it, sakto lang na nasa top most part ng hip ko yung pinaka-edge ng pouch. kapag medium naman masyado ng mababa. pero kung magrerefer ako dun sa size chart which is according to weight, nasa medium talaga ako. kaso hindi yun ang kinuha ko kasi nga parang mababa na. eh kaso noong sinubukan ko dito sa pinas, hirap akong ipasok si baby. hindi sya magkasya at umiyak sya kasi uncomfortable din sya kaya parang nagpanic ako but i told myself not to otherwise lalong mahihirapan si baby habang inilalabas ko. this time i'm selling my pouch na and on the look out for another pouch. dapat talaga dala-dala si baby when buying a baby sling/pouch.
