^Damien Rice FTW! Gusto ko din siya.

Ang tagal ko ng iniisip kung ilalagay ko ba dito yung Dashboard Confessional kasi SUPER fave ko talaga sila. Pero parang uso na kasi sila ngayon.. Although nagustuhan ko sila nung hindi pa talaga sila sikat.

Naalala ko pa nun dati sa MTV, para akong baliw kasi may show sila dati na isusurprise yung school ng mga artists. Eh sakto nung day na yun na mag-surprise yung MTV, yung Dashboard yung kinuha nila. So imagine mo ang saya ko nung nakita ko sila nag-perform. A year later, sikat na sila sa Pinas haha

^NAPANOOD KO RIN YAN! Haha. Sobrang love ko talaga yung Dashboard. I think, yung Stolen talaga yung nagpasikat sa kanila hanggang sa ayan, mainstream na sila. Pero marami pa rin silang magagandang songs na hindi sikat. So I guess pwede pa rin silang isama sa list ko?

Madami, usually UK based pero sa lahat si Jarvis Cocker. (yeah, I know MJ fans will kill me). During the Brit-pop and grunge years in the 90's, Pulp kinda stood out for me coz of the witty lyrics of their songs, though sa 'Pinas its all about Nirvana, Blur, Suede, Oasis, and Pearl Jam. Pulp never really landed in our shores. No airplays, no mtv, nothing.

^Damien Rice, Paolo Nutini, Dave Matthews Band, Foo Fighters, Keane, Muse, and so many artists mentioned actually have a strong following here. Well not Cook-Archuleta strong but pretty well-known. My guess, if these musicians will hold a gig here and it will be properly promoted, it will be a success. I always thought that Damien is only known as Mr. Blower's Daughter, I'm surprised many Pinoys dig his other songs.
