gelitorres  sorry for the late reply. In the end my coordinators  (who were Manila-based) brought my bouquet. I paid excess baggage na lang at php150 per kilo (2012).

Kung hindi sila the plan was one of my relations would pick the bouquet from the airport or shipped it straight to the resort. Sabi nung florist ko they normally ship the bouquet to the coordinator (during that time isa lang ang kilala na coordinator sa Boracay).

^ Ang mahal kase ng coordinator sa Boracay. I thought I could do away with only one or two coordinators dahil small wedding naman so I asked a friend na nag-start pa lang ng wedding coordination business nila. Sabi ko 2 people lang at i didnt have a budget. In the end, sila pa nag-gift sa sa akin dahil silang 4 nag-fly kase they need 4 daw to perform better. 2 lang ang binayaran ko pamasahe. I reimbursed their food and expenses na lang as the OOT fee.  And i paid more after the wedding dahil nahiya ako sa kanila.

sis querubin, you may check out Laiya beach resorts like Aquatico, Virgin Beach Resort and Acuaverde. Laiya is a 3-hour drive lang from Manila.

Based on experience (the beach/outdoor weddings I attended), mostly pastor 'yung mga nagkakasal ng couples sa beach. May few exceptions lang na Catholic priest and wedding siya. I attended a garden wedding na nasa poolside, Catholic 'yung ceremonies niya. But, I think kakilala nila 'yung priest. May friend din ako na nagsabi na sometimes, it depends on the parish/Church kung saan 'yung wedding. 'Yung iba daw, papayag na 'yung priest nila ang magkakasal.

I think it should be the bishop who will grant you the permission to hold the wedding outside of the Church. I believe ang tawag doon is letter of dispensation. You can ask your parish priest to help you out on this; or you can go directly to your bishop. Some others choose to hold two ceremonies; one inside the Church and the other at the beach. 'Yung iba ang beach ceremony is like the exchange of vows nalang talaga - your personal vows, not 'yung "scripted".

So, if you haven't asked your bishop for permission yet, huwag muna kayong mag-finalize ng venue niyo. Just to make sure. Good luck!

if you want yun ceremony nyo e sa beach din, then medyo mahirap nga yan especially if strict yun church na nakakasakop sa beach resort na target nyo. for example sa laiya, katakot takot na proseso ang inabot ng friend ko para makapag renewal of vows sila dun. take note kasal na sila sa church sa ibang bansa ha. gusto lang nila pakasal sa pinas at beach wedding ceremony ang gusto nila. buti na lang after mahabang paliwanagan e napapayag nila yun local parish para i-allow yun kaibigan nilang priest na mag officiate ng beach ceremony nila.

medyo masalimuot lang talaga. may parish din na hindi nag aallow ikasal (or binyagan) ang parishioners sa ibang church e. so better check with your local parish muna at saka dun sa parish na nasasakupan ng target beach venue nyo.

A relative of mine endorses a Kota Keluarga guest for a minimal fee. It's in Laiya Batangas and super nice their beachfront cabana  and the whole place as well..check out pics in the internet. If you are interested i can give you her contact number thru pm.
