according to my OB di po daw nakakahawa ang UTI. I had my UTI before, i took antibiotics. then i followed my doctors advice. sabi nya one cause of UTI is wearing of pantyliner, pantyliner is good for 2 hrs only, so we should change pantyliner from time to time. di daw kasi ng-aabsorb ang pantyliner. yung madalas na pagiging wet daw kasi ang dahilan kaya nagkakaron ng infection. kaya i avoid pantyliners na. then almost 3 times a day ako change ng undies, kasi nga im no longer wearing pantyliners, para clean pa rin.
so hygiene is very important. fortunately di na naulit UTI ko.
about naman po sa vaginal infection that's different from UTI. vaginal infection is tranferrable. parang related na yun s STD eh. pero infection pa rin sya.and can be treat by taking antibiotics, just like UTI. that's according to my OB

you can still use pantyliner pa rin naman pero make sure you change from time to time. para laging clean and fresh.

hi mga sis yesterday first time kong naexperience yung super sakit sa pag-ihi ciempre natakot ako UTI agad ang nasa isip ko. pero naisip ko ring uminom ng maraming tubig kasi lately hindi me nakakainom ng 6 glasses or more..

when i start drinking, nawawala yung pain pero pag hindi naman ako nainom ng madami nasakit na naman siya.

magpapatingin pa ba ako sis sa doctor or can this be cured by just drinking lots of water?

hi sisters!
hindi ko alam kung UTI to or vaginal infection.
lagi kasi ako nawiwiwi, kahit gabi minsan napapabangon ako with urge to urinate. minsan painful at i experience yung parang ticklish or minsan naman mahapdi my down there, don't know exactly ano yung masakit. nag-antibiotics ako for 1 week kasi may UTI daw ako although moderate lang bacteria nakita pero i dunno bakit nawiwiwi pa din ako madalas. nakakainis kasi pag nagta-travel ka hassle.

^Hi sis karlagabriel21! One symptom of UTI is frequent urination or burning sensation when urinating. Observe mo if you won't feel these pag na clear ka na sa UTI. If you still urinate frequently, I suggest you go to your gynecologist. Kasi usually mababa uterus if you urinate frequently tapos wala namang UTI.

Better to consult a doctor sis to be sure. Or if you want, magpa-urinalysis ka muna to determine if you have UTI. Coz even if you drink a lot of water, it won't cure your UTI (in case meron ka na ha). Kelangan kasi antibiotic.

yes, makikita sa urinalysis.. if may presence of WBC (white blood cells) or pus cells *other term yan .. usually more than 5 cells eh considered as uti na and a presence of bacteria. pero kapag bacteria lang ang present, di naman siya significant. minsan dala lang nang poor hygiene.

better pa din sis kung ipapa interpret mo sa doctor

I think I have this now. I started feeling weird last Sunday night, parang umiikot stomach ko and I tried to pee pero kahit tapos na parang may natira pa na ayaw lumabas. then the next day, paggising ko, ganun uli, konti lang lumabas sa pagwiwi ko. when I arrived sa office, ihing ihi ako, then when I wiped myself, ayun! may malabnaw na blood

first time ko magkablood sa wiwi. nagka-UTI ako before but that was when I was pregnant

I drank a lot of water yesterday and hindi na uli ako nagbleed, took buko water as well. pero today sobrang sakit na talaga ng lower back ko and parang affected narin yung right upper leg ko

pati pagwiwi, burning/ticklish sensation after! grrrrr...need ko na maypa-urine test and go to the doc

sis momentum, go to the doctor na, kasi ako Ive experienced before the worst case, as in bloody na ang ihi ko, super sakit talaga kaya inom ka ng inom ng liquid, huwag mo na patagalin. Sobrang na trauma ako noon eh, kaya konting sakit lang pa doctor na ako agad.

huhuhu ang hirap ng feelign na parang lagi kang naiihi tapos pagtapos mo magihi parang bitin na bitin. tsaka sobrang sakit na talaga lower back ko

obgyn yung doc na pinupuntahan diba? gusto ko kasi mag urinalysis first before check-up para di na need pabalik balik sa doc hehe

better sa ob doc ka na magpa check sis, usually kasi nag endorse ang doc na kailangan ang urinalysis na test. basta take in ka ng fluids, water lang muna kasi mas mahirap kapag naubusan ka na ng water wala ka ng malalabas kung hindi urine. waaa kinikilabutan ako until now pag na alala ko iyong pain

^why not try to go to a nephrologist... i was referred by maxicare to a nephrologist before (Dr. Arlene Lamban/MMC)... she asked me to have urine sampling to check if something will grow daw... kasi sometimes di naman nakikita yun sa urinalysis...

^ oo nga. my mom also told me dapat hindi lang urinalysis, dapat urine culture. kasi may mga organisms/watever na hindi nakikita sa plain urinalysis. maybe that's what the nephrologist did sayo. sige sis will try to see one. di ko na ata kayang pigilang hindi magcheck-up till magday-off sa weekend

^yes... once lang din ako nag wiwi ng blood... tapos super frequent ako mag wiwi... di naman sumasakit yung kidney ko so... no problem naman daw... she just wants to check if there are organisms nga... so urine culture (which is quite expensive ha... thank god for maxicare

)... meron nakita sa akin e-coli... so i just have to take antibiotic for about a week then have a urinalysis... then ok na
