my balikbayan friend is here in manila and magllunch kami this week sa serendra/bhs.. any suggestions kung san ko sya ddalin?

Dami ng choices na restaurants sa BGH, kelan lang open space pa yan. I like eating in Cafe Mary Grace, Contis, Fridays and Itallianis.

Ipapasok na rin ba natin sa thread na to yung SM Aura if ever mag open na sa May17? I'm so excited. I dont have to go to ortigas na para lang mag mall bgc-makati na lang by the way, we ate sa iHop, madami namang servings (dito lang ako nakakain ng IHOP so di ko macocompare sa servings sa US) at sulit sa price pero so-so lang lasa eh.. Nag order sina mommy ng regular size sa menu while ako yung jr. Haha sobrang busog ako sa jr size nila. Nagustuhan ko lang yung scrambled egg. Pero kung uulit ako sa iHop, i'll try the dinner menu siguro not the breakfast na.

Yun saboten ang hinihintay ko na na magbukas. Nun weekend nag-ABE kami ang hirap kumain ang dilim sa loob. Hirap sa may diperensya sa mata kapag sobrang dim ang lighting nun lugar. Sana medyo maliwanag naman tapos fish pa ang inorder ko

May bago rin sa may stopover, mall by ayala rin.

Edited to add: sa wee nam kee ano ang oks na food? May nabasa kasi ako dito fried rice raw masarap. Isa lang ba fried rice dun? Ayaw ko kasi ng white chicken.

- Chicken Rice (roasted) Personal Set: mas stronger ang lasa ng ginger (sa rice) duon sa SG, compare dito medyo inadopt siguro sa panlasang pinoy... masarap yung pag kaka roasted chicken sa WNK, medyo bitin lang sa serving, pang isahan lang talaga...

- Beef Broccoli in Oyster Sauce: nagustuhan ko den ito, medyo bitin lang ako sa serving...

- Honey Crispy Squid: masarap, nagustuhan ko itey parang tingin ko mas ok itong pulutan hehe

- Sambal Kangkong: ok den kaso medyo na alatan ako sa bagoong... pero ito naman ang gusto ni hubby...

- WNK Fried Rice - masarap napa-rice ako ng wala sa oras hehe  good for 2-3 pax ang serving sulit *aprob*

honey crispy squid okay sa wee nam kee! yung chicken noodles soup type ko rin! actually lately ko lang na-discover sambal kangkong nila, pinatikim sakin ng mga kasama ko nung last na nag-WNK kami.

Masarap sa Italianni's High-end and super sulit yung bayad sa food. Tapos for dessert, try niyo Cupcakes by Sonja sa Serendra.

Speaking of Wee Nam Kee, may Yellow Chicken Festival starting tom. Got a preview from a tasting and mas masarap siya sa normal Hainanese nila.. Available din in steamed or roasted.

Saan banda yung SM Aura? Di ko pa nakikita.. Dapat macheck sa next BGC trip!

^^all branch yan? masarap nga roasted, yan lagi namin order. once tinry namin yung steamed hindi kami nasarapan. kaya laging roasted order namin tapos bbq roast pork!

@purpleish, wnk fried rice pala yun masarap sige oorder ako nyan at beef broc pati yun sabi ni akireyhoj na roast pork at chicken


Isa sa gusto namin sa ngayon kainan sa BGC yun nanbantei. Masikip kasi yun nasa gb3 kaya buti na lang nagkaroon sa bhs central. My kid likes the grilled salmon belly. Gusto rin nya ang leba maki pero inaalis most nun bacon.

^may isa na small mall tinatayo ang ayala along 31st cor rizal drive. Yun dating may chowking, pancake and PS bank. Sana maraming restaurants na ok (at sana rustan's fresh na rin).
