^^re: singapore republic: kung natry mo na yung foods sa nasi lemak.. Same lang ang menu sa singapore republic.. I tried it 4x na sa galleria at BGC.. Medyo dissapointed ako sa hokkien mee nila - ang layo ng lasa sa expected ko.. (ang onti pa ng shrimp) Favorite ko kasi yun sa SG.. yung isa sa mga famous na hokkien mee stall nasa food republic ng Vivo Mall near dun sa mrt link ng sentosa.

The price 200-400/order -- ok nadin. Medyo marami naman ang serving

The food is okay.. try mo yung char kway teow nila. Ok siya.

Wala na yung half price na dimsum nila.. That was like 2 months ago pa.

^ thanks sis! sa galleria ko nga ata nakita dati yung nasi lemak! sige try ko char kway teow nila if makadaan kami. hmmm, how does this compare to shiok kaya? i liked shiok's food kasi, esp. char kway teow and chicken rice.. and the time we ate them, medyo mura pa price nila (nasa P150-P300 ata) unless nagtaas na sila now.

Ok I tried it today (dinner time) heheh..
Sad to say, I am very disappointed with the taste of Char Kway Teow..
I ordered Roti Prata, Milo Dinosaur and Char Kway Teow..
Everything is very sweet.. di ko siya nagustuhan eh

Roti Prata - the sauce is okay and the Prata is cheap considering the quantity but its too sweet for my liking
Milo Dinosaur - Milo is a very common drink sa SG, but as far as all the milo dinasour na natikman ko.. over na over ito sa sweetness ( may condense pa ata siya sa ilalim)
Char Kway Teow (mild)- for the price of 160 - okay na siya for 2 people kaso its too fatty, ang laki laki ng chunks ng pork - normal na char kway teow na alam ko its either walang pork or hindi ganun ang pork.. matamis na soy ang timpla niya, parang normal na pansit using rice noodles.. wala din shrimps at yung taste ng crab na hinahanap ko.. Bagsak siya for me..

I paid 275 for everything - cheap nadin pero i wont return hehe.. IMHO I rather spend more than eat sa Shiok.. di ko kaya yung sweetness ng dishes nila walang onti spark ng spice na trademark ng mga makan dishes.. ket na mild yan, expect mo may onting spice yan pag nasa SG. hehe.. siguro iba lang ang expectations ko dahil marami rave sa shiok..

Slice High st., their muffins and cupcakes are delicious especially choco yema flavor.   You also gotta try their, chicken bbq rice melt and roast beef rice melt 1 order is good for 3 to 4 persons

^Curious talaga ako sa Slice. Too bad limited lang yung voucher nila dati sa Metrodeal to their chicken rice melt. Pero deceiving for me lagi ang serving ng restaurants. I always end up polishing off a dish that purports to be good for 2-3 people, hehe.

Fathers day celebration at The Mango Tree so far sila ang pinakagusto ko na Tomyum gum soup compare sa crustacia (rockwell), Soms (rockwell side) at silk (BHS). The price, I think mas pricey siya sa lahat na nakainan ko na Thai Food resto.. downside lang ang dami talaga tao kanina, super bagal ng service pag may hihingin ka na extra, 10 years ata bago marefilan yung rice namen at medyo makulit din ang waiter nila. hehe

Sayang nga na we didn't get the voucher din.  Actually, the first time my wife and I ate their we just ordered a salad and the rice melt.  Akala namin nung una mabibitin kami but when we ate halfway thru  the rice melt we were already full XD

Nun kumain kami sa bonchon wait kami ng 20mins pero malamig chicken nun sinerve, ganun ba talaga yun? Kasi yun fish n'chips lagi naman mainit

Try nyo chicken charlie, meron na sa may malapit sa Burgos Circle.  Personally mas masarap sya kumpara sa BonChon.  Mura pa.
