Where to eat at Serendra/High Street? :)

hi mga sis, hingi rin ako ng advice kung saan pwedeng mag dinner sa serendra. Yung medyo romantic ang dating.

My bf and i will be celebrating our anniversary kasi, kaso lang wala naman akong alam na pwedeng makainan dyan sa area na yan.

Any suggestions? Ok lang kahit medyo pricey, as long as meron mga options. Thanks.

SERENDRA:
chelsea was where we celebrated hubby's birthday the other year. sarap dun.
Mary Grace - pastas nila yummy.
balducci masarap ang pizza.
culliere - french naman yummy din
conti's pang pamilya - manggo bravo, bnabalik balikan namin ni hubby.
kape isla for organic stuff.. i love their malunggay sampler plate.
healthy kitchen - miss ko na yung burger nila dun
Fu - dito kami lagi nag Dec 31 dinner and pag may mga family gathering -- very friendly staff and affordable.

BHS:
Starbucks Fully booked - fave meet up place namin ni hubby -- nasa escalator pa lang kami, super greet up na kaagad yung crew hahaha.
Seattle's Best Coffee - fave ni hubby yung breakfast meals nila dito.
Coffee Bean - ako yung guilt free dessert naman fave ko
Figaro - love their coffee
Bo's Coffee - i likey their pastries na surprisingly, budget friendly
Pancake House -- Bottomless Iced Tea naman fave ni hubby dito at yung mga pancakes and yung house burger.. ako yung Daing na Bangus nila at yung Salmon..
Krispy Kreme for the internet access naman.

Mamou (steaks, pasta, etc., continental)
Cuillière (French, but they also have cheese milkshakes made from carabao milk )
Balducci or Mezzaluna (Italian)

DUO sis at serendra! super sarap ng food at very prompt ang staff! hindi ka magsisisi!

order their prawn salad, steaks, and risotto. nahilo ako sa sarap.

Parang wala masyado kumakain sa via mare café lagi na lang wala tao or baka pag lunch at afternn madami tao d ako sanay kasi sa GB1 lagi madami tao

Conti's na yung mango cake I forgot the name of the cake basta sooooooooooobrang sarap with all the cream and bilog bilog na mango

we always eat at mamou. we love their steak. we order two twin steaks every time we dine there. when we're done eating the meat, they get the fat and they "toast" it. tapos we add it to our red rice. sarap. adik. hehe we always come back din because of their great customer service. annie is so accomodating and friendly. when we ate there on my brother's birthday, she even gave my brother a red velvet cupcake na super yummy. tapos one time when they brought in our pasta vongole late, they gave it to us for free. si malou fores, the chef/owner, pa yung nagdala sa amin tapos super apologize pa siya. and i love their iced tea too. pati yung spring rolls tsaka yung roast pork. tsaka oriental soup. parang lahat actually ng nakain namin masarap. hehe

sa chelsea, ok din. masarap yung duck confit. sarap ng pagkakagawa. their pizzas are divine din. fish and chips ok din. i love the way they serve their food too. maganda ang plating.

sa conti's ayus din. dami laging tao kaya di kami lagi kumakain dito. comfort food sila. sarap ng salmon. pero i am not a big fan of their mango bravo. masarap. nothing wrong with it, pero wala lang...di ako patay na patay for it. hehe siguro kasi may nuts. ndi kasi ako mahilig sa nuts. hehe arte. pero ok sa conti's masarap talaga yung food. pero biased ako sa branch nila sa BF. iba pa din yung orig. hehe

brazil brazil ok din. pero nakakabundat sa busog. haha ok din dito pag mahilig ka sa meat. pero once lang kami kumain, kasi parang nakakasawang isipin. pero value for your money.

^i totally agree with the customer service of mamou. sino ba yung mas matanda?si annie ba yung mas bata? they really check if you like the food,they table hop and make chika. and they call you by your first name(i guess they get your info pag nagpareserve ka).yung steak nila ang sarap at aliw ako dun sa  pagbubudbod ng rock salt sa steak.

^ yup sis. si annie yung medyo mas "mature" na may short hair. she's really nice. and she does call you by your first name. malou fores is the sister-in-law of margarita fores who owns cibo and pepato, etc.

gusto ko din maglagay nung rock salt sa steak. i think hindi talaga dapat i-mask yung taste nung meat if maganda yung quality like the steaks of mamou. ayus na yung salt lang ang seasoning kaysa sa lunurin sa gravy. hehe that would be a waste of perfectly yummy meat. hehe

i heart mamou too. steak lagi inoorder namin dun. i have yet to try their other dishes.

  Hi, ask ko lang po saan banda yung mamou? I don't remember seeing it although minsan lang kase ko magpunta ng serendra. Reasonably priced ba sila or medyo pricey? Tia.

if you want something different, with a romantic/mysterious ambience - try Fez. they serve Moroccan/Mediterranean food. try their chicken kebab, baked fish with cheese sauce, or lamb stew.

mga nakainan ko na sa serendra:

duo - we used to eat there quite often when it was relatively new (around 7 times ako, my husband around 10 times) just because we loved the food and service. but we haven't eaten there ever since the original owners and chef left the restaurant.

conti's - pag nagtitipid

portico 1771 - once lang at ayaw na maulit. sarado na yata ito, nag-transfer na sa iba.

marta's cakes! - when my daughter wants to decorate cookies/cupcakes, punta kami dito

cupcakes by sonja - pag trip ko ang mamahaling cupcakes

cuillere - once lang din, gusto ko lang ma-try. okay naman. can't forget the best fries and mashed potatoes.

brazil - sulit naman for me kasi meat-lover ako

cafe mary grace - for comfort food

fu by hai shin lou - mahilig kasi kami sa chinese food kaya we've dined there 3 or 4 times already. medyo expensive compared with other chinese restos.

chelsea market & cafe - tried the kid's meal and the toblerone torte; the food here is too sosyal for my tastebuds

zao vietnamese bistro - food was so-so; forgettable except for the chicken salad which had a slug in it. ewww.

mga nakainan ko lang for merienda/dessert: tea and therapy, arama cafe, cafe xocolat.

sa bonifacio high street, ang mga na-try ko na:

texas roadhouse grill - okay din ang food, especially the shrimp and salmon skewer.

kabisera ng dencio's - snacks and desserts pa lang, maganda yung place. love the chicharon bulaklak and the special suman. so yum.

claw daddy - ate there twice pa lang. i like the complimentary grilled corn on the cob.

syempre italianni's, friday's tsaka mga coffee shop sa BHS.
