contrary to what we can always see on koreanovelas, korean men in reality are NOT romantic! iba pa rin ang carinyo ng pinoy and the latino / espanyol -blooded men.

funny thing is my korean boyfie is the opposite lahat ng nega traits here :D he's super sweet, nakakaumay nga eh pda to the highest level ako na nahihiya pagkasama ko friends ko or mga officemates. then sa facebook nagkakalat din sya haha ng mga mushy wall post kahit mali-mali na grammar nia. also super bango! i love smelling his neck, signature perfume nia ck summer kahit matutulog na after shower nagpapabango pa para daw lagi ako nakadikit sa kanya. last, sya ang pinakaconsiderate na guy na naging bf ko in terms of lovemaking :D talagang ipplease ka ng todo todo haha nagulat nga ako kase yung previous bfs ko parang makascore lang okay na. actually tinanong ko sya bakit ganon, sabi nya 'dedicate nia daw para hindi ko sya iwan' LOL

dito na lang muna hehe btw, he looks like Kwon Sang-woo  ;D

As a GENERAL rule, koreans, like indians and chinese, will only marry one of their own, so talo pa rin ang girl.

I have a friend who's dating a korean and my friend asked the guy if his parents will approve of their relationship. Here's what the guy said, having you as a gf is okay, marrying you is a different matter altogether... hmm :o so baka hindi pang long term

my bf's korean...we're together for a year. he's not a typical korean...it favors me a lot! he is open-minded, very kind and responsible. . . now, we're considering marriage. . .

i always hang up with his relatives here. They love and take care of me. but still we have to face his parents. . .we're ready for it! infact, he's ready to fight for me. . . his mom knows about us. . . she's starting to love me too...hahaha i hope this would continue. . . the mother appreciates how I handle him. . .my bf said, i bring out the best in him.... so i guess, that's the best thing!

some opinions here are true. . .but always remember, there's ALWAYS an exception to the rule! ;-))

Your position that your situation is an exception is misplaced. In your own words, "but still we have to face his parents. . .we're ready for it!". It means the general rule still applies. The only difference is your bf is willing to fight for your love daw. Let's see. Keep us updated.

I don't think it is about looking down on us pinays. It's really a cultural thing and not a racism issue. Pinays aren't being singled out naman, marriage with other races is just a no no.

It's not at all about looking down on pinoys...they just wouldn't marry anybody who's not korean, whether Asian, American, European. It's not about race, it's just their culture.

Hindi lang Koreans ang mabababa ang tingin sa Pinoys in general. Sad but true. Don't know who  to blame. Very corrupt government! kaya sobra poverty, sobra ang class system, kaya ang mga pinoys go out abroad at kilala as domestic helpers, prostitutes. Sorry OT.

Pero yeah, I dated a Korean nung college. Burara. Boring. Matalino lang at kapartner ko sa thesis. May sariling barkadang mga Koreans din, mababait naman.  Pero iba talaga Pinoy.
