I used to have a korean textmate. He's not really that expressive when it comes to his feelings. When I first met him, he was so shy pero I was impressed because he can pick up right away what we were telling him. He speaks good english too.  He was really like staring at me everytime I speak because I have braces ;D. Unusual siguro sa kanila..hehe..anyway, our friendship really didn't last long since he went back to Korea.

I also know a girl way back in college that has a korean bf. If they're together, parang may sariling mundo. I never saw the girl hanging out with her friends anymore. Sila lang talaga ang palaging magkasama. Well, of course I felt envious coz ang cute2x ng korean bf nya. Anyway, they got married and the girl is now living in Korea and her korean husband's family seems to like her.  :)

regardless of the personality, i wouldn't date a korean or any other yellow-skinned boy as i don't find them physically attractive. i prefer my man to look like a man and unforch, i see most asians, with the exception of the dark skinned ones, as too feminine looking. happy with gays, just not into dating them.

with personality, however, can't really say much. i heard that most of the older/senior koreans aren't really that pleasant and that goes for both men and women. the men are said to not treat their women well. to be honest, never understood the fascination with korean people as i've always found them rather dull. mukhang ang kama para sa kanila ay tulugan lamang. harhar.

;D

^Sis mooncake...funny naman.  :) Dito tayo different. I like my man to be metrosexual or bishounen and really thin.  ;D Kaya siguro amazed na amazed ako sa kanila. They look so frail but they do know martial arts and stuff kasi parang mandatory sa kanila yong serving the military for 2 years.  ;)

koreans are BAD (both sexes) tingin nila sa pinoy/pinay is alila, mukhang pera (as in nabibili ng pera), aanga-anga at kung [textspeak!]-[textspeak!] pa

yes its true na di sila naliligo everyday, sometimes kung [textspeak!] yung suot nila...kaya nilang suotin the whole week.

korean guys, they treated their girlfriend, fiance even wife as bodyguard na tipong sa likod lang lagi ang girl habang naglalakad and as far as i know...nature nila ang sigaw ng sigaw sa kahit na kanino

^ yeah some Koreans are like that, but then again we cannot generalize them. As a matter of fact traditional Korean men would prefer to have their wife stay at home because they believe that it's their duty to provide for their family.

Some might be wondering why I have so much to say about Koreans, aside from the fact that i had ex's, i used to work with Koreans and that's for 5 years.

Personally I don't find them (Koreans) attractive, ayoko ng maputi, and singkit, but now i'm married to a chinese guy ( he's not that fair skinned though ). As for their hygiene sabi ko it's either malinis or marumi yung neat guys are normally metrosexual types and i've met a lot of them.

Mooncake i can say hindi lang tulugan ang tingin nila sa kama  ;)

Side kuwento ulit i met this Filipina who's married to a rich Korean doctor, she just stays at home, and shop almost every freakin day, how i met her? she cheated on her korean hubby and went out with a very good friend of mine.Korean hubby discovered and beg on both my friend and the wife. My friend is married now, Korean hubby and wife are still together :)

count me in. i can never ever imagine myself dating a korean guy. (racism ba). there was a time talaga na koreans could already outnumber the filipinos in our city. i wonder why they all just vanished away. buti nalang. i never liked them, theyre just rude! at least naman its our turn to discriminate, for a change, lagi nalang kase tayong pinoy ang dini-discriminate.. OT na yata,

going back, i had a co-worker who had a korean bf, the korean was like 10years older pero very galante and goes to her boarding house everyday to prepare her bfast. o diba super sweet! pero the k.guy was violent and often threatens my co worker to kill her if she will break off the rel. scary! well, turns out the korean was already married, she only found out when the wife came all the way from korea to make sugod. ayun. philandering hubby pala boyfriend niya.

How to Date a Korean Guy (nakita ko lang 'to sa internet.. haha read on kakatawa and iba pero most of them are true.) ;)

 1.  KISS UP TO HIS MOTHER! This is one of the most important rules to dating a Korean man. His mother influences his life in a very real way, so be nice to her. Or else she can make your life an eternal hell (no joking about this one).
   2. Try to be thin. Almost every American woman that lives in Korea is FAT and UGLY. Sorry girls but you are. So try to stay as much as you can from this stereotype.
   3. Go the 2002 World Cup with your face painted like the Korean flag.
   4. Play games. If you know how great but if you don't LEARN. Starcraft, Broodwar, Lineage, PUMP and DDR. This is in order not to embarrass him at the arcade, if you do he will secretly resent you for the rest of his life. Besides you might really enjoy Half-Life.
   5. Make fun of Japan OFTEN
   6. Talk about how superior Tae Kwon Do is to every other martial art.
   7. LOVE HIS CAR. It doesn't matter if it is a Porsche, or a fixed up Honda, you must to at least pretend that there isn't a funny smell coming from the seats. Flattery really works.
   8. Learn to drink A LOT. Soju is the most powerful s*** that you can actually put into your system legally. Don't be a weak drinker and Jack Daniels. Trust me if you can drink at least 2 bottles you are fine. Plus it will impress his friends. DO NOT drink Soju unprepared, or you are going to be puking till next Thursday.
   9. Learn at least some of the language. Learning Kamsa-ham needa or Anyoung will make him very happy. Especially in restaurants, it will make him look good. Learning how to say saranghae will make him feel extra special too!
  10. KIMCHI, love it or leave him. Its a Korean staple..some Kimchi may burn your mouth off but you'll get used to it. You have to realize that Korean food is spicy as hell and you gotta learn to love the feeling of your tongue melting into your throat.
  11. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES DO YOU PUT YOUR CHOPSTICKS INTO THE RICE STICKING UP. Just don't ok? If you are really bold do it in front of his parents more than once.
  12. Go to Korea during New Years. 3 main reasons, first is FREE MONEY, second is free alcohol and third is FREE MONEY.
  13. Size doesn't matter, its how you use it. Just keep telling him that.
  14. Be a computer/math/science/ nerd. He'll love you forever.
  15. Try not to say Don't go. Roughly in Korean it means *A--hole*. AND really don't shout this at him if you are IN Korea.
  16. Pretend to love his singing voice. Especially his drunk karaoke ballands, because he is singing them to you. Pretend to be swept off your feet, he'll love that.

koreans like super spicy food.. spicy lahat ng foods nila. pero masarap naman. gusto nila sila lagi nasusunod especially the korean guys. but they can be very sweet and romantic lovers like kakantahan ka nila, they'll cook for you.. aalagaan ka talaga. and it's true that they always yell.

not sure if this is really true pero pansin ko sa korean dramas.. lagi namamalo or nanghahampas ang mga parents haha. kakatakot noh.

i'm having fun reading this thread.   :D  i'm also attracted to chinito, fair-skinned guys na may pagka mestizo.

Pansin ko lang, may mga korean actors na super popular and good-looking sa standards nila pero for me sobrang walang kadating-dating.  Just like Rain, I don't find him cute at all!  nice body nga pero for me walang face value!  (Sorry sa fans!  ;D)  The likes of Jo In-Sung, Kwon Song Woo and Jun Pyo ang cute for me.

Di ko type ang mga dark skinned and moreno guys.

I guess mahirap din i-generalize that most of them are rude kasi kahit ano namang nationality may mga tao talaga na rude or walang manners.

Curious din ako kung anong feeling to have a korean bf because i'm a sucker for romantic korean movies..
