dating a korean..
« on: June 19, 2009, 03:38:50 pm »
anybody here dating a korean or knows a friend who is dating a korean? what are they like ba? would u want to date a korean? feeling ko mahirap magdate ng korean. iba talaga sila. sometimes they're not like what you see in korean dramas  ;D kwento naman.. i just love hearing stories or experiences of dating koreans. i know there are lots of koreans in the philippines.

1. based on what i heard, they mostly date their own kind. so between a filipina and korean girl, they would most likely choose a korean girl especially when marrying kasi ayaw daw magmix ng blood or something.

2. boys don't allow their gfs to have a friend especially if guy daw itong friend mo.

marami pang iba.. nalimutan ko na.

kwentong kuchero ata itong napulot ko pero the kwento i know about korean men has something to do with their virility, add stamina to that, not much to please their partners but how they can work it in bed. mas self absorbed ata sila when it comes to that.

;D Curious din kasi ako sa kanila kasi i don't know any Korean. Nakakainis kasi sila eh.

So sa isip naming magka-barkada, snob sila.  ;D

They are violent daw at di naliligo everyday. Im not sure if it's true though.

I guess this is because malamig sa Korea and di siguro sila pinagpapawisan. ;D

Dun sa dati kong school, may nakita naman akong Korean guy tapos gf niya Pinay. Ang cute pa nilang tignan. Mukhang may sariling mundo. :)

I had 2 korean bf's in the past marami din nanligaw. I met them at work and during my short vacation in Korea years ago. True that not all Koreans are hygienic as a matter of fact di ko matake some of them because of the foul smell, im just blessed that both my korean ex's are metrosexual type Koreans they are so vain, they both go to gym, updated sa fashion and of course they bathe daily :).
Actually most Korean guys are on both extreme sides either masyado vain or madumi, either workaholic or happy go lucky, either seryoso or funny. For a while i thought i'd marry my 1st korean bf, he reminds of of typical character in koreanovela na sweet na makulit, we get along so well, until his family came in the picture. He finally informed his mother about our relationship and his mom and his sister are strongly against it, most especially when they found out that i'm mixed race ( half [textspeak!], half italian) feeling kasi nila mababang klase yung ganon, actually they even have a deregatory term for that, add the fact that my bf is the only guy, thus pinapakialamanan talaga the mother cause parang siya magdadala ng family. So there, it never worked, and up to this day i still think about him, he will always have a place in my heart :)
The second Korean guy naman is very rich, first time i met him i was still in a relationship and little did i know that he tried to pay my then bf just so he breaks up with me. At that time he actually think that I dont deserve that guy and he is so right he later morphed into a monster. Anyways we met again after 2 years and that's when he became my bf, he is 15 years my senior and is divorced, everything is fine except that his ex-wife keeps on bugging him and some other issues I can't seem to handle.

While it's true that some Koreans take some Filipina girls for fun, meron din talagang nagseseryoso and eventually leads to marriage. Actually it was exposed few years ago that Korean farmers who can't seem to marry in Korea would come here in the Philippines to get a wife. Kasi nga Korean women mahilig sa ma-pera. Yung iba naman if they want to take the girl seriously may bearing sa kanila what their family has to say just like what happened in my case, kaya ayon nauuwi din sa wala :(

i used to teach english to koreans. what i know about them so far is that they are violent when angry or mad, they have difficulty in letting go, they are very loyal, very expressive and sincere.

and yes they prefer to date their own kind. ayaw nila ng mixed race and very traditional and conservative ang upbringing nila.

may term sila sa mga mayayamang koreans - "chaebol".. i would see sa koreanovelas the parents would always encourage their children to marry a "chaebol" hehe

^they like soju alot sis.hinde pwedeng mawala yun sa kahit anong handaan nila or kahit sa simpleng dinner lang.

i had 2 koreans bf last year. yung 1st ok naman sya, sweet and super gwapo.agressive and galante.,kaya lang my god napaka babaero.lagi kami magkasama and ang daming nagttext sa kanya.i cant take it.,kaya ayun nakipag break ako..but up to now we still communicate.at pag nag uusap kami parang kami parin. :)

we were perfectly ok when he was here.we live like a married couple.dun ako sa condo nya natutulog.everything seems so perfect for the two of us.we talk about marriage na rin.and kung saan kami mag settle.either in korea or in italy...but sabi nga nila good things never last.dumating yung day na he has to go back to korea to continue his studies.and the problem begins to start...

ayun naging busy na siya sa studies nya, wala na syang time for me.naging mainitin ang ulo nya.konting tawag ko lang sa kanya feeling nya i track him 24/7.tapos dumagdag pa yung mom nya..he wants to invite me to korea for her sister wedding.but the mom found out about it and talagang tumutol yung mom nya.ayaw daw kasi ng mom nya ng foreigner na daughther in law.tapos he said pa kung pupunta ako ng korea sa sister lang daw nya ako maipakikila.hindi daw talaga pwede sa parents nya.wala pa daw kasi sya magagawa kasi nga he's still in control by his parents..kaya ayun.tapos lagi na kami nag aaway.and we finally call it quits...sad lang talaga kasi akala ko he's the one na...

Sayang. Haha. ;D

Yes it's true most Korean women prefers rich guys, as in malaking factor yon kaya nga as i mentioned maraming poor Koreans nagpupunta sa ibang Asian countries to get married. Yung mga conservative type of family ayaw talaga ng inter-racial marriage but then again marami na din akong kilalang pinay na married sa Korean. As for pagiging violent wala pa kong na encounter na ganon most of the time kenkoy yung mga gestures nila, minsan nambabatok or palo sila pero in a funny way tipong kulitan lang.

I dont like koreans. Had officemates then.. so rude! last week, went to cr and when I came out to wash my hands, a girl with a kid came in... then while inside the cr, a korean girl came in and knocked and knocked and knocked on the door.  Eh obvious naman na may tao kasi nag uusap yung  2. sinabihan ko nga " cant you hear? there is some people inside! you wait till they come out!  kaya I dont like koreans. even sa office.

i used to tutor a korean student and i got to hang out with the whole family, including the korean kuyas. mabait naman sila but yun nga, they dont date outside their race. i dont really think that it's conscious. they just really like siguro their fellow korean girls. and for those who live here in manila, there's definitely a language barrier for most so that's a huge factor. maingay din sila in general. and at home, they are very comfortable walking around shirt less or leaving the bathroom door open while they do their business which used to make me very uncomfortable.

but i think when we date outside our race (whether korean or not), there are a lot of nuances to get through.
