Do you reuse your cooking oil? How many times na consider safe?

Ako kasi tinatapon ko agad e.

Is it ok na pang fry ang extra virgin coconut oil? It's one of the healthiest kasi good cholesterol ang meron ito.. There are different kinds of cholesterol kasi. Not all cholesterol are bad.. So i'm thinking kung papaswitch ko family ko ng gamit na oil.. Coconut oil is the safest as far as i know (syempre olive oil din) but i wanna know if it's ok to use extra virgin coconut oil na pangluto kasi olive oil breaks down in high temperature which is bad yata

^^ Ano ba yung brand ng EVCO mo sis? Wala pa kasi akong nakitang ganyan or dahil rin puro Marca Leon lang ang hinahanap ko sa grocery kaya't wala akong nakita na EVCO.  ;D

We use corn oil for cooking then olive oil for salads, sa sandwich, sa sawsawan.

Pero bihira na kami lately magluto sa pan 'cause we bought an indoor grill :D Kawawa naman our corn oil nakatunganga lang sa shelf.

I preffered using palm oil and olive oil for frying and cooking. I once tried canola oil, pero ayoko na umulit, malansa kasi sya for me. May amoy sya na parang pag mainit na yung oil nalalabas nya yung lansa ng kawali or ng food saka pansin ko mabilis sya magevaporate kesa sa palm oil ayoko rin yung lasa ng chicken pag naprito using canola.  :-\

I just started using organic coconut oil. For $6 a pint, it's expensive. I just look at it as a treat since it's good naman for me. I use it for sauteing and frying fish. And it sure smells good!

On olive oils, the guideline is if you will use it for cooking, purchase virgin olive oil.

For salads, vinagarettes, etc use extra virgin olive oil.
