gymboree or kindermusik?

our daughter attended kindermusik classes when she was little. with our son, hesitant ako ipag kindermusik, mas gusto ko mag gymboree sya, yung mga tumbling, more physical. kaso sa likot at active ng anak ko, plus interactive play nila magkapatid (singing/dancing, habulan kunyari) nanghinayang na ko ienrol kasi meron na kami sa bahay yung gusto ko sa kindermusik/gymboree: a playmate! 

pero for me, pag babae, mag kindermusik. pag lalaki, gymboree kasi more physical activities.

Sabi hubby pag 18months na lang daw si baby. Its too soon daw kasi 1y/o pa lang sya. Hays, wala clearance...

After ng July class, when yun next class sis?

Mga sis, yung sa kindermusik na Our Time class na 4units, each 15wks. Nakalagay na price ay around P9k per 15weeks.
Ano meaning ng units??? Then dapat ba regular na 1x per wk attendance? Di pwedi laktaw laktaw?
Sa gymboree kasi ni baby na 4 sessions, dapat ma consume in 3 months. Yun lang. So laktaw laktaw kmi makapunta.

^ i'm not sure what "units" meant. Baka yung module nila yon. Pwede naman to skip a class kung di talaga maiiwasan, they give make up classes in the end. Kaso kasi lugi ka if you skip a class e. You're paying for a certain number of sessions. Sayang naman if you miss some.

Gusto ko e enroll daughter ko sa Gymboree kaso wala naman dito sa area namin kaya Kindermusik sya.  Sa august ulit yata yun start dito sa Bacolod.

Is 5 months too young for kindermusik classes? The Village classes is for babies 0-18 months. There is a class under teacher Jeanie starting Aug 18 and my baby will almost be 6 months by then. Wondering lang if it would be beneficial for my daughter or a waste of money lang.

Hi! Im still thinking on where to enroll my son 1.2 year old. Today we went to Teacher Suzette's Kindermusik @ Gingerbread. Most of the babies are cooperative naman although di maiwasan ang mga cranky times.. Cute talaga ang mga songs and activities and T. Suzette is very lively.

What i tried in Gymboree is their gym play lang. Yung classes i havent tried it yet. Siguro tama yung isang sis dito. Kapag boy, Gymboree talaga. My son is more of a runner than of a sing-a-long kid. Hehe!! so now im considering gymboree talaga. Might try their free class muna. :|

I ended up enrolling my daughter at Educare for Kindermusik Village classs. She is the youngest there at 5.5 months. We had our first class last Saturday. My baby cried for the first 10 minutes of class but thereafter enjoyed herself. Dr. Liz and Teacher Ellie made her feel comfortable and by the end of class teacher Ellie was carrying Hailey!! Amazing considering she won't let anyone carry her except those who live at home.

I purchased 1 unit first (8 sessions) as I wasn't sure if Hailey would like it. I'll see how it goes.

Facilities wise, it was a little rundown and the room is kinda small, but we were a group of 6-7 babies lang. Of course it doesn't compare to gymboree where everything is visually pleasing, but for half the price and considering my baby can't do any of the gym activity I'm happy with Kindermusik.

it's usually best to have a trial class sa Gymboree para you can attend class without committing to enrol. plus, if you enrol in the class that you tried, you have an option of having the trial fee deducted from the enrolment fee...counted as the first class na yung trial class mo. just remember to call Gymboree a day in advance to schedule your trial class.

Baby finished her 4classes at gymboree already. Convenient samin ang locations nya at ang class sched which is saturday morning for the play and learn music class. Also ok din na pweding as brief as 4 classes lang ma enroll, we cant commit kasi of every sat and for many classes as we usually have many errands weekend na sinasama narin namin si baby.

Overall natuwa ako sa gymboree, dun lumabas ang enthusiasm ni baby mag basketball, play around after the class and yung songs kapag parachute time talagang sumasayaw sya as early as 12months old sya. Super love nya panoorin ang videos niya which we recorded during her class; sumasayaw indak sya sa house when we play her video fr the class. KAya tip ko yan mga sis na i record
Nyo, aside sa magka souvenir si baby, she can play with her video at home.

Gusto ko rin try ang kindermusik but i need check location and guidelines kung maka skip ng class. Sa gymboree kasi can consume the classes enrolled within 3months so ok lang mag absent basta ma inform sila a day before the class.

I just found out that gymboree will have discounts on August 19 for their 10th year anniversary?! Im not sure. If you enroll daw, the tuition fee you'll be paying is as low as the fees 10years ago.

1class/ 8weeks- 5,050

2class/4weeks- 5,050
2class/8weeks- 9,200

Do you have to purchase their membership fees to avail classes?? Or pwedeng hindi na?

@elize: it's better to ask first. trial classes are not free. P500 sya per trial. generally, you need a class pass to get a free trial.

@cocoyowno, you have to be a member in order to enrol in classes. yung trial class and gym play lang ang di kelangan ng membership.

minsan, if may promo on classes (like dati, may bubble pass nung xmas na 4 weeks lang), you still have to get temporary membership. but for regular classes, you have to get a membership talaga. there's an annual fee of P1.8k, may lifetime membership of P3.6k..good na yun til the child's 5th bday so mas sulit sya esp if the child is younger.

My baby is turning 16 months sa katapusan, sa L4 ko na ieenroll baby ko kasi nag L3 na sya..
And na confirm ko na sis yung anniversary sale nila sa mismong 19 nga dapat mag enroll:) 

Btw gymboree helped my baby to be more active. 14 months nung inenroll ko si baby sa play and learn.. Dpa sya totally marunong maglakad magisa. Mas lumakas luob nya kasi nakikita nya ibang babies na tumatakbo na. And basta it helped her a lot physically
